S1, E3. Full Gear
Tony Khan shows up in Bridgeport CT for Dynamite. They play audio of Busted Open Radio and Tony explains “Full Gear”.
The Bucks arrive for Dynamite and they go over their return anxiety with Christopher Daniels. They wonder if they’ll be liked or hated. Matt explains what a “go home show” is. Daniels tells them they’ll be fine. He says just be The Young Bucks and everything will be fine. Matt & Nick still feel there is a black eye on their career.
Matt Hardy says hello to Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo. Hardy says he loved the match with Danielson. Sammy is excited for the 4 way ROH title match he’s in with Jericho, Castignoli & Danielson.
Britt Baker and Saraya film their final promos for Full Gear. Baker has a sit down and she explains how big of a star Saraya is due to “Total Divas” & “Fighting With My Family”. She wants to be that level of a star.

Sammy explains how big of a match he’s in regarding the level of opponents he has. It’s a big moment in his career.
They show PAC & Lucha Bros announce the trios match. The Elite are backstage and are relieved by the level of reaction they get from the on screen graphic.
Tay & Sammy go to a “Dave & Buster’s”. She’s frustrated she doesn’t have a PPV match. They do shots, eat junk food & play games. Tay says she’s happy for him but she’s frustrated she’s gone from having matches to a valet. Sammy says it happens with couples in the business. One is up and the other is down and then it will flip back and forth. He asks if she regrets becoming his on screen partner. She says no, but she wants more. Sammy feels like her career is in pause because of him.
Britt Baker arrives in town and sits down to talk with Tony Schiavone. She talks about her wrestling lifestyle and being a dentist. She loves her career and can’t give it up. Tony mentions that Khan has come around to making a decision with Thunder Rosa. He also tells Baker she shouldn’t be consumed with the situation with Rosa. He wishes the younger wrestlers were able to look months or years down the road than the immediate in the now part of it.
Day of Full Gear. Jeff Jarrett and Claudio Castignoli introduce themselves. The Elite rehearse their new trios entrance. Britt Baker does media appearances before the show. She says it’s a busy day, she has hair, make up and media all while worrying about her match. Sammy is getting his new entrance attire from the seamstress. He’s very impressed.
Saraya is with her brother Zac Zodiac to help her put together the ppv match and lend moral support. She didn’t think this night would ever come. Zac cuts a promo about how great she is. He’s here to be excited and bite his nails for her while she climbs her way back to the top. Everyone involved is a bundle of nerves. Saraya is nervous. Baker doesn’t want to hurt Saraya and Zac says this is a great opportunity for Britt but he understands the worry about something going wrong.
Matt & Nick Jackson are also worried. Nick has some crazy stuff planned and doesn’t want to get hurt. They also want the crowd to like them again. Nick hasn’t ate, Matt hasn’t slept. Matt tells Nick they have a million dollar gate which makes Nick more nervous.
Full Gear highlights. Of Samoa Joe vs Hobbs vs Wardlow.
Claudio explains that this is a big spot for Sammy Guevara being the youngest guy in a big match. He thinks he’s up to the challenge. They show Tay backstage watching the match. Saraya asks why she’s not out there. She shrugs. Tay says she feels forgotten. Lots of highlights. Sammy is beat up and he says while it doesn’t look like it he feels great. Jerry Lynn tells him he did great. Claudio thinks he did great in a big spot. He remembers what it was like to be in the same spot.
The Elite make their entrance and we see highlights of their match vs Death Triangle. They are feeling great after the match. Nick has chills and they’re happy with how everything went.
Britt and Saraya make their entrances. Tony & Rebel give Britt encouragement. Zac says the doctors tell Saraya she’s at 100% but he’s concerned. The bell rings and they lock up. We see highlights. Saraya takes her first bump and sells it. Everything it ok and they ramp up the action. Saraya wins and hugs her brother. Britt and Saraya talk afterwards and thank each other. They feel like it was a huge success.
The Bucks and Sammy leave the show pleased. Britt is with her parents but misses not having Adam Cole with her. Jericho is meeting the original “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” Kristy Swanson with Jack Perry and his mom.
We cut to the post show scrum where new champion MJF berates the media and leaves.
Next week - Tension with Tay & Ruby Soho. The Elite arrive in Chicago and thunderous boos.
