When The Rockers were scheduled to win the WWF Tag Team Championship from The Hart Foundation in the infamous match on Saturday Nights Main Event where the ring rope broke, why didn't they just stop the match to fix the ring rope instead of going through a horrible match and scrapping it like it never happened?
Since they were taping for Saturday Night's Main Event, they opted not to stop. At the time, Jim Neidhart was being let go, which necessitated the title change. WWF changed their mind on Neidhart and decided to scrap the title change altogether. In the local market where the title change took place, they inserted an announcement that the title change was voided due to the ropes breaking.
Do you see Kurt Angle returning for a few matches since he said on his podcast he's free of back pain after his most recent surgery?
While it would be the most pro wrestler thing ever to be free of pain in order to return to the thing that brought them the pain in the first place, I don't see Angle doing anything on a regular basis.
