It’s time for AEW Rampage which is live from the Ryan Center in Kingston, RI. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Jim Ross, and Tony Schiavone.
Hook (FTW Champion) vs Ethan Page - Under FTW rules
Page kicks Hook out of the ring at the bell and they brawl on the floor. Hook shoves a table into the ring and they go back to brawling. The brawl goes over the barricade and into the crowd. In the back, Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy are cheering for Hook.
They fight across a row in the crowd and then back down the stairs and then in the ringside area during the picture in picture. Hook pulls out steel chairs after giving Page a t-bone suplex. Page sues the time to recover and tries for the Ego’s Edge, but Hook escapes and tries for a sup-lex into the table the Page fights out of. Page is finally able to power slam Hook through the Timekeeper’s table. Page then gets a two count on the floor.
Page sets up a table in the corner of the ring as the fight moves there. He swings a chair at Hook, and Hook dodges so that the chair bounces off the ropes into Page. Hook hits a Twist of Fate for two. Hook and Page fight over who will go through the table and Hook is able to lock in the Redrum for the win.
Winner and still FTW Champion: Hook
After the match, Hook picks up Page and suplexes him through the table.
We then get a new episode of QTV, and it’s QT and Aaron Solow against the Lucha Brothers for the Ring of Honor title tonight.
The Acclaimed w/Daddy Ass and Matt Menard and Angelo Parker w/Jake Hager vs The Infantry, Bobby Orlando, and LSG
LSG starts with Anthony Bowens and they go through a few quick moves before Menard and Parker work over a member of the opposite team. Bowens tags in again and they hit Shiver Me Timbers, with Parker and Menard come into the ring for scissoring, but Max says they aren’t invited. Bowens hits The Arrival and Caster hits the Mic Drop for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Acclaimed, Menard and Parker
Menard, Parker, and Hager attack The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass after the match is over, and leave them laying. Kind of odd we would have the four person team when The Acclaimed said they wouldn’t join the Jericho Appreciation Society on Wednesday.
Swerve Strickland says he has recruited new members via a merger and we will find out more later tonight.
Lee Moriarty w/Big Bill vs Darby Allin
They lock up and Darby gets a side headlock takeover and they move to mat wrestling. We see that Jungle Boy and Sammy Guevara are watching the match. They get to their feet and continue going hold for hold with Darby getting a crucifix pin for two.
They move to a knuckle lock and Lee is able to take Darby down, and Lee hits a stomp when Darby tries to bridge up. Le starts to work darby over in the corner. Darby is knocked to the floor and Lee works him over until Darby drops Lee cotch first on the barricade. Big Bill takes out Darby with a big boot as we go picture in picture.
When we come back to full screen, Darby hits a shotgun drop kick on Lee, knocking him into the turnbuckle and to the floor. They both go to the turnbuckle and Darby knocks Lee down. Big Bill gets on the apron, but the referee gives him the stare of “Don’t Do It!” and he drops back to the floor. Lee sweeps Darby's legs so that he falls to the mat and covers Darby for two. Lee gets full nelson on Darby and then suplexes him across the ring for two.
Darby blocks a German suplex and Lee instead tosses him into the ropes. Lee pulls Darby on top and joins him, hitting a super plex. Darby is able to roll over for a two count. Lee is able to block a scorpion death drop and locks on a reversal pin. Darby hits a Code Red and then dives onto Big Bill on the outside. Darby then goes to the top for a coffin drop that gives him the pin and the win.
Winner: Darby Allin
Swerve’s music hits and he comes out. As he and Darby go face to face, Brian Cage attacks Darby from behind and it looks like Prince Nana’s Embassy has joined with Swerve Strickland.
RJ City is at a sit down between Jade Cargill and Taya Valkyrie. He explains their issue, and they argue about their finisher match and they go face to face and it all breaks down.
Main Event: Anna Jay vs Julia Hart
Pretty sure this is the first time we’ve seen Julia Hart in the ring since her heel turn on either Dynamite or Rampage.
Anna attacks before the bell and they brawl on the floor. Haet tosses her repeatedly into the barricades and then into the ring. She slams Anna’s face into the mat. When they get to their feet, Anna is able to get an elbow strike and they fight in the corners. They go to the floor again and this time Hart gets slammed into the barricade and we go to picture in picture.
When we come back to full screen, Hart takes Anna into turnbuckles with face slams. Hart takes Anna down with a sledgehammer blow for two. Hart gets a standing moonsault into a two count. Anna gets a slam on Hart when Hart leaps onto her back for two. Anna is whipped into the corner as Hart hits a cartwheel into a clothesline.
They go to the top and Hart is hanging from the tree of woe, but still comes up to slam Anna, and then hits a moonsault for two. Anna keeps trying for the Queenslayer, but Hart is able to get out of them. Hart is rolled to the outside. She tosses a chair into the ring and as the ref gets rid of it, Hart hits the black mist, follows up with a rollup, the pin and the win.
Winner: Julia Hart
