Match Number One: Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin versus Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs for the New Japan Strong Openweight Tag Team Championship
Nelson and Isaacs attack Sabin and Shelley before the bell rings. Sabin is sent to the floor and Nelson mocks the Guns’ hand gesture. Nelson kicks and slaps Shelley in the head. Shelley sends Nelson to the floor and Sabin with a thrust kick to knock Nelson off the apron. Shelley with a back elbow to Isaacs and Sabin with a missile drop kick. Sabin is tripped by Isaacs and pulled to the floor. Nelson does the same to Shelley. Nelson sends Shelley back into the ring while Isaacs has Sabin up for a delayed vertical suplex and walks around the ring. In the ring, Nelson with a standing delayed vertical suplex. Nelson hits the suplex and Isaacs suplexes Sabin onto the apron.
Isaacs and Nelson pose in the ring. Nelson with an uppercut to Shelley and Isaacs tags in. Isaacs with a kick to the leg and Nelson with a knee to the leg in the ropes. Isaacs with a sliding clothesline for a near fall. Isaacs with elbows to the upper chest. Isaacs gets a near fall. Shelley is sent into the turnbuckles and Nelson tags in. Nelson with a running double knee strike and Isaacs follows with a belly-to-belly back breaker. Nelson gets a near fall. Nelson with a reverse chin lock.
Shelley with forearms and Nelson with a forearm when Shelley goes for a rolling elbow. Nelson with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Nelson goes up top and Sabin pushes Nelson off the turnbuckles. Isaacs tags in and he knocks Sabin off the apron with a running back elbow. Shelley with a flatliner into the turnbuckles. Sabin punches Nelson when Nelson tries to knock Sabin off the apron. Shelley goes through Nelson’s legs and makes the tag. Sabin with a boot and clothesline. Sabin with a clothesline to Isaacs. Sabin moves and Nelson hits his partner with a shoulder. Sabin with a tornado DDT to Nelson off Isaacs’ chest. Sabin goes to the apron and he kicks Isaacs in the chest. Sabin with a cross body to Nelson for a near fall.
Sabin with a running back elbow into the corner and Shelley with a kick to the back of the head. Sabin goes for a Cradle Shock but Nelson with elbows. Sabin with an elbow and a rolling elbow. Shelley with a rolling elbow and then Shelley with a thrust kick and Sabin with a forearm at the same time. Sabin sends Nelson to the floor. Sabin with a suicide dive onto Nelson and Isaacs. Sabin with a missile drop kick to the back of Nelson’s head while Shelley hits a flatliner and Sabin gets a near fall.
Sabin gets nelson up but Shelley grabs Nelson. Nelson backs Shelley into the corner and Sabin goes for a Yakuza kick but Nelson moves and Sabin kicks Shelley. Nelson with a jumping boot and then Isaacs gets Sabin on his shoulders. Nelson with a leg drop off Sabin’s back and then Isaacs hits a Death Valley Driver onto Nelson’s knees for a near fall. Isaacs with a waist lock on Shelley and Nelson with a waist lock on Sabin for a double German suplex. Sabin and Shelley go to the floor. Isaacs with a full nelson into a German suplex on Sabin back into the ring and Nelson with a cutter off the turnbuckles but Shelley breaks up the cover.
Isaacs with a punch to Shelley and he gets him up. Shelley escapes and Nelson runs into Isaacs. Sabin and Shelley with the dream sequence. Sabin misses a punch and Shelley and Nelson alternate standing switches until Sabin hits a cutter. Shelley and Sabin with a double super kick and they hit Dirt Bomb for the three count.
Winners: Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley (retain championship)
After the match, Sabin says it feels good to be double champs. You were a good team but we were just a bit better. Shelley says they are one of the best tag teams in history. We are going to acquire more gold and go back to New Japan proper and prove why we define a generation.
Match Number Two: Homicide versus Tom Lawlor in a Filthy Rules Fight
Lawlor takes his time getting his gear on but Homicide with a clothesline as the bell rings and he gets a near fall. Homicide with a Northern Lariat for a near fall. Homicide with a head lock and Lawlor sends Homicide to the floor and he kicks Homicide. Lawlor with a trash can lid. Lawlor looks under the ring but he grabs a trash can and hits Homicide with it. Lawlor with a snap mare and he does a lap around the ring and connects with a kick to the back. Lawlor grabs a chair and hits Homicide in the back with it. Lawlor goes up the ramp and charges to the ring but Homicide throws a chair at Lawlor. Homicide hits Lawlor in the back with the trash can lid. Homicide brings the trash can into the ring and Homicide with an exploder for a near fall.
Homicide ends Lawlor into the ring post. Homicide hits Lawlor with a two baking sheets. Lawlor with punches and Homicide with a knee and elbow. Homicide with a DDT and he goes to the floor to get a ladder. Homicide gets a kendo stick and he hits Lawlor in the back and chest with it. Homicide returns under the ring and he has the forks. Lawlor with a double leg take down and Lawlor with a knee bar and Homicide hits Lawlor in the foot with the fork. Homicide with a cutter for a near fall. Homicide is sent into the ring post and falls to the floor.
Lawlor with a cross body into Homicide on the floor. Lawlor puts the chair in the ring. Lawlor with brass knuckles and he punches Homicide with it. They get back into the ring and Lawlor kicks Homicide against the ring post and he fish hooks Homicide with the turnbuckle. Lawlor misses a running punch into the corner and hits the ring post. Homicide throws a chair at Lawlor.
Homicide gets a door from under the ring and he puts it against the guardrails. Homicide with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Homicide hits Lawlor in the head with a trash can. Lawlor counters a suplex and hits a uranage on the trash can and Lawlor gets a near fall. Lawlor sets up Homicide to send him through the door on the floor but Homicide with a suplex and he hits a second one. Lawlor blocks the third and Lawlor with two German suplexes. Homicide with a suplex and Lawlor with a suplex of his own. Lawlor blocks an exploder and Lawlor with a Pele kick and a knee. Lawlor with a rear naked choke.
Homicide gets Lawlor on his shoulders and he hits a running Death Valley Driver through the door. Lawlor with punches and Homicide with a pile driver onto the door for a near fall. Homicide sets for the Cop Killer but Lawlor escapes. Homicide with a knee and then he goes for a pile driver but Lawlor counters with a back drop onto the ladder. Lawlor with a running kick for a near fall. Lawlor hits Homicide with the door and then Lawlor gets the ladder and a chair. He puts the chair on top of Homicide and Lawlor sets up the ladder and he climbs it. Lawlor goes up top and hits a diving head butt for a near fall. Tom with a straitjacket and a knee to the back. Lawlor with a rear naked choke and Homicide passes out.
Winner: Tom Lawlor
Match Number Three: Zack Sabre Jr. versus Clark Connors in an NJPW Television Championship Match
They lock up in a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Zack kicks Clark away. They lock up and Clark with a clean break and he pats Zack on the chest. Clark with uppercuts and chops. Zack with an uppercut and Clark with a forearm. Zack with a side head lock and shoulder tackle but Clark stays on his feet. Zack with a boot and shoulder tackle but Clark stays on his feet and he takes Zack down with a shoulder tackle. Clark with chops in the corner.
Zack holds his hands behind his back and Clark chops him to the mat. Clark puts his hands behind his back and Zack with an uppercut. Clark with a chop and he goes for an abdominal stretch but Zack counters with an abdominal stretch of his own. Clark with a hip toss but Zack with a snap mare and he works on the neck and applies a head scissors.
Zack with a single leg take down and then he works on the ankle while stretching the legs. Zack with a spinning toe hold and he drives the other knee into the mat. Zack with a bow and arrow but Clark gets to the ropes and Zack releases the hold. Zack kicks Clark in the corner. Clark with a chop and he chops Zack a few more times. Zack with a kick to the chest and Clark goes down. Zack with a wrist lock and a kick to the shoulder. Zack with a wrist lock. Clark with a POUNCE. Clark with an elbow in the corner followed by an Irisih whip and a shoulder. Zack with a front face lock and an Irish whip. Zack with a guillotine and body scissors but Clark with a suplex to escape. Clark with a running boot to the chest.
Clark goes for a suplex but Zack blocks it. Zack sends Clark to the mat with an arm wringer. Zack with kicks to the chest and Clark fires back with a forearm. Clark with another forearm. Zack with an uppercut. Clark with a forearm and Zack with a European uppercut. They go back and forth and Zack with a kick to the arm and a German suplex. Zack with a kick and Clark with a clothesline. Clark with a brainbuster for a near fall.
Clark runs into a kick and then he goes for a spear but Zack avoids it and applies an arm bar submission into a head lock submission with the arms trapped. Zack with a head scissors into a single leg crab. Clark gets to the ropes to force a break. Zack has a kick to the chest blocked. Zack slaps Clark and Clark with a head butt. Zack with a dragon sleeper and bridge for a near fall. Zack with a kick to the chest.
Zack with more kicks. Clark wants Zack to kick him. Clark with a spear and a power slam for a near fall. Zack works on the fingers and he blocks a chop. Clark with a chop and he runs into an uppercut. Clark with a back slide for a near fall. Clark with a power bomb for a near fall. Zack with a double leg take down and he goes for the bridge but Clark counters into a sleeper. Clark goes for a power bomb but Zack with a triangle. Clark with an ankle lock and Zack with an arm bar submission and Clark taps out.
Winner: Zack Sabre Jr. (retains championship)
After the match, Kevin Knight comes out to the stage to confront Sabre.
