ROH owner and AEW President Tony Khan held a media conference call yesterday in advance of tonight's Supercard of Honor event. Highlights:
*There will be a big announcement on this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite in Long Island. Khan expects it will get a lot of coverage.
*He hopes this weekend's ROH PPV will be a fitting tribute to the late Jay Briscoe. He noted that he's worked with three different sets of management at what is now WBD and this current management group signed off on Mark Briscoe appearing on AEW.
*Bandido had been on a pause while a work visa issue was ironed out but will be back.
*Honor Club has grown to 15,000 subscribers as of the call.
*When asked about ROH coming to Canada, Khan noted that the market has been a huge success for them in AEW.
