Episode 28: Never Take A Loss Lying Down
Gigi Gianni and Amber Rodriguez vs Jennifer Flores and Stephy Slays
Rodriguez and Flores start off with a short collar and elbow tie up with Flores getting a headlock takedown and then a leg sweep for two. Slays tags in and they hit a double elbow drop. Gianni tags in and gets an arm drag and holds on. As Flores tries to get in the ring and is held back by the ref, Rodriguez hits a clothesline and exits for Gianni to cover for two. Gianni and Rodrigues have a series of quick tags to keep Slays in trouble. Gianni hits a sidewalk slam for two.
Gianni and Slays hit a double Japanese hair beal and they crawl to their corners to tag in. Flores cleans house on Rodriguez and then all four women are in the ring. Gianni and Rodriguez try for a double stalling vertical suplex but Slays saves Flores and they hit double trust kicks. Slays is tagged in and does a move where she hops on Rodriguez’s back and then turns her over for the pin and the win.
Winners: Jennifer Flores and Stephy Slays
We then get a video recap of the new team Americana and Jesse Jones.
We then get a video of the troubles within the Heavy Metal Sisters
Americana and Jesse Jones vs The Heavy Metal Sisters (Razor and Fury) w/Mezmeriah
Razor attacks Jones before the bell. Fury goes after Jones with a chair as Americana is attacked by Mezmeriah. David McLean asks if Jones wants to call the match due to injury and she says she will go on.
Americana and Razor start off and Americana takes her down with a side headlock. Razor turns it into a cover and Americana kicks out. Americana gets a drop kick and a cover for two. Americana gets a side rollup for two. Razor gets a headlock and tags in Fury, and then hits her with a double suplex for two.
Americana rolls Fury up for two. Fury drags Americana to the ropes and chokes her against the second rope with her legs. Fury tags in and they work over Americana in their corner. Razor and Fury go for quick tags, but their tags are out of sync showing the issues between them. Americana gets a rear jawbreaker and goes to tag in Jones, but Jones refuses the tag as Fury charges into the corner. Jones slams Fury’s head into the turnbuckle from the outside and Americana drops her with a clothesline.
Americana gets a back elbow after a handspring into the ropes, and followed with another handspring into a cross body cover for two and Razor breaks it up. Mezmeriah grabs Jones from the outside as Fury and Razor hit the headbanger for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Heavy Metal Sisters
Americana helps Jesse Jones limp to the back. The Heavy Metal sisters say there is no problem between them. Razor and Fury then argue over who should go for the world title, and Razor bails to storm to the back.
We then get a recap of how Kandi Krush’s boxing gloves got stolen when Keta Rush was supposed to watch over them, and that next week, Rush will face Chainsaw. We get a recap of the introduction of Chainsaw’s sister Angelica Dante.
Foxxy Fierce vs Holidead
Holidead hits a shoulder tackle, but Foxxy gets a drop toe hold next. Foxxy gets a crucifix pin for two. Foxxy gets two kicks and covers for two with Holidead getting a rope break. Holidead is able to get a big boot to Foxxy and keeps her down with dismissive kicks. Holidead then stomps Foxxy down in the corner. As she whips Foxxy into the ropes, she drives knees into Foxxy’s midsection and then drops her with a clothesline.
Holidead gets a snap mare takedown and holds her in a rear chinlock. Foxxy uses elbow strikes to escape and then hits a series of kicks. Foxxy attempts a wheelbarrow, but Holidead takes control of the move and slams Foxxy face-first into the mat. Holidead covers for two. Holidead whips Foxxy into the corner, following with a clothesline. Foxxy is able to slip through the ropes onto the apron and nails Holidead with a kick.
Foxxy gets a leaping clothesline off the second rope and covers for two. Foxxy then gets a step up insigiri and covers for two. Holidead is able to get a spine buster, and then Kandi Krush comes from the back and gets on the apron to yell at Holidead.
Holidead takes a pair of swings at Kandi, and Kandi misses with her own swing and Holidead shoves her off the apron. Foxxy takes advantage with the butt attack for the pin and the win.
Winner: Foxxy Fierce
We then get a video recap of the feud between Coach Campanelli and Randi Rah Rah vs Miami Sweet Heat for the Tag Team title.
Miami Sweet Heat (Tag Team Champions) (Laurie and Lindsey Carlson) W/Lana Starr and Vickie Lynn McCoy vs Coach Campanelli and Randi Rah Rah
Coach and Randi attack before the bell but Sweet Heat is able to back them into the turnbuckles. Coach gets a snap mare on Laurie and a pair of two counts. Lindsey tags in as does Randi who hits a cartwheel elbow drop and then a moonsault onto Lindsey. They work to their feet and Lindsey gets a waistlock and slams Randi. Randi is lifted by Lindsey, but she reverses it into a slam and a pin, where Lindsey grabs the ropes immediately.
Randi is whipped into the corner, and dodges a charge from Lindsey, back flipping across the ring. When Randi goes to the ropes, Laurie gets her with a knee to the back. Lindsey and Laurie work over Randi in their corner with quick tags.
As Coach argues with the Ref, Randi gets attacked from the outside. They work Randi over for a good few minutes before she is able to kick Laurie off and get the tag to Coach, who, of course, cleans house. Coach gets an airplane spin into a swinging neckbreaker on Laurie for a two count broken up by Lindsey. However, Coach dodged Lindsey’s attack so that she landed on Laurie.
Lindsey and Laurie pull Coach up for a vertical suplex, but Randi jumps off the top to push Coach, making it into a double DDT. Vickie slides mirrors into the ring and Lana distracts the ref, but Coach and Randi are able to grab them first and break them over Lindsey and Laurie’s heads. Coach and Randi cover for the pin and the win.
Winners and NEW Tag Team Champions: Coach Campanelli and Randi Rah Rah
Another referee slides in and points out the broken mirrors. The Ref reverses the decision and DQs Coach and Randi.
Winners via DQ and Still Tag Team Champions: Miami Sweet Heat
The Coach says that Miami Sweet Heat can’t win without their “Frumpy Four” and the only reason they used the mirrors because Miami Sweet Heat was given the object, and they will keep going after the titles no matter what.
