FAME OUTSIDE OF THE RING: WRESTLING STARS AND MARRIAGE

By Kendall Jenkins on 2023-03-27 09:01:00

One of the most well-liked types of entertainment in the world is professional wrestling. The power, drama, and fiction that occur in the ring attracts fans. While the wrestling matches themselves are often the main draw, fans are also interested in the personal lives of their favorite wrestlers. This includes their relationships, marriages, and weddings.

There are many attributes in any wedding, and one of them is the bridal bouquet. It can be large or small, contain bright different flowers or a mono peonies bouquet. Also, flowers are used not only for a bouquet, but also for decorating the ceremony hall, arches for newlyweds and boutonnieres. And of course, according to tradition, the bride throws her bouquet to her bridesmaids to determine the order of marriage.

In this article, we will consider some wrestler couples who have been married.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

Paul Levesque, known in the world of wrestling as Triple H, is one of the recognizable figures in this sport and entertainment. But he became famous not only for his victories in wrestling as a strong man. He has a love relationship with Stephanie McMahon. She is the daughter of the chairman of WWE. Before getting married, these two met and moreover secretly, since the father of the beloved did not approve of the novel either.

Triple H proved himself by breaking into the wedding of Stephanie and her former fiancé and ruining the event. Shortly thereafter, Paul and McMahon got married of their own.

This couple had a relationship on TV and even got divorced there in the early 2000s, but a year later they got married for real.

In real life, the wedding itself was lavish and took place at Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The ceremony was attended by many wrestling superstars, including Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker and Ric Flair. The reception was held at Oheka Castle, one of the most exclusive wedding venues in the United States.

Triple H and Stephanie are still happily married and have three daughters.

Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella is a really famous wrestler and a very big name in WWE. As far as her romances go, she started dating John Cena in 2012. After five years of a successful relationship, Cena made an offer to a sports star at a premium live wrestling show. However, the next year the couple broke off their engagement, and the wedding was cancelled just a month before the appointed date.

While still engaged, Bella met Russian professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev at a dance show.

Her twin sister was the one who helped choose the venue for the wedding. After a long search, they settled on the option of celebrating their wedding in Paris, France. The Hôtel d'Évreux in Paris is directly related to the concept of creating a pair of Nikki and Artem. This place is located near the Place Vendôme. What is the connection? On their first vacation, this couple flew to Paris, namely to the Ritz Hotel. According to the bride herself, and now the wife, they were returning through the famous square, and she had a dream that Artem would dance with her there. Bella remembers this moment and that vacation in general with particular trepidation.

??An interesting point about the marriage of the famous wrestler and dancer is that one of the dresses she wore to her wedding with Artem was the one she chose when she was engaged to fellow wrestler Cena. The athlete herself explains this by the fact that that dress sank into her soul, and she did not want to give it up because it had a connection to her past. For the star bride, this was a confirmation of her strength: not to give up what you want because of

prejudice.

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella are another bright couple from the world of professional wrestling. Their relationship lasted two years before the couple decided to get married. Their wedding took place in a chic and picturesque location in Sedona, Arizona. The ceremony was held outside the premises, under a wooden arch to match nature and decorated with flowers.

The wedding was attended by many of their wrestling friends and colleagues, including John Cena, Triple H, and Nikki Bella. The reception was held inside a ballroom, with the couple sharing their first dance to the lovely song.

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella have since welcomed two children together and have become one of the most beloved couples in the industry. They both retired from in-ring competition to focus on their family but remain involved in WWE in other capacities.

Conclusion

Wrestling fans are often fascinated by the personal lives of their favorite wrestlers, including their relationships and marriages. The weddings of the persons that were mentioned in the article are just a few examples of some of the most famous wrestler weddings of all time. While some of these marriages have ended in divorce, others have stood the test of time and have become iconic couples in the industry. Regardless of their outcomes, these weddings will always hold a special place in the hearts of wrestling fans.
