5 WRESTLERS FROM OUR CHILDHOOD WHO ARE STILL GIVING OUT IN THE RING

By Kendall Jenkins on 2023-03-27 09:21:00

Wrestling is a separate art form. Very demanding on health, a dangerous art form. One mistake and a wrestler can get injured so much that he will be out of work for a year. And even completely ruin his career, especially scary – if not his own. Yes, there have been deaths in the ring. Therefore, in this business, it is completely normal to retire in the region of forty years – the bodies of athletes most often do not withstand longer. But some remain true to their calling to the last – despite injuries and a direct risk of life, they do not leave the ring.

Today we recall a dozen legendary wrestlers who could be seen on TV in the late nineties – early zero. And they are all still performing.

Wrestling is a very traumatic and physically demanding sport. Many athletes go through long, long recovery processes. So one of these is massage. Massage helps tone tired muscles, gives relaxation, and helps to have a great rest, especially if you go to aroma massage centre. Spa centers and massage centers have become part of the lives of many people. If you feel that your body is tired, or your back or other parts of your body hurt, then try to massage. You will see that after a few spa and massage sessions, you will feel improvements both physically and psychologically.

Undertaker – 58 years old

Debuted in 1984

Mark Calloway is a legendary fighter whose fame has gone far beyond the wrestling industry. His pseudonym is no less recognizable symbol of wrestling than the name Hulk Hogan. The gloomy image of the Undertaker, his cloak and wide-brimmed hat, epic outings, and the empowering urn with mysterious ashes is hard not to remember. He didn't always win his matches, but he still seemed creepy and invincible.

Kane – 55 years old

Debuted in 1992

The real name of the "Devil's favorite demon" is Glen Jacobs. His image is an infernal monster (Kane's height is almost 213 centimeters!) in a terrible mask. A laconic, but tough and effective enforcer. Now he is the governor of Knox County, Tennessee, so he rarely appears on the screens. But Kane's career did not officially end.

Triple H – 53 years

Debuted in 1992

Paul Levesque is not just a legendary wrestler. He is one of the most decorated wrestlers in WWE history. Take any iconic fighter of the company from the mid-nineties to the present day – every Triple H fought and certainly won. But his main achievement in the ring is the creation of the D-Generation X group together with Shawn Michaels. Although his Evolution gang with Ric Flair, Batista, and Randy Orton also flew into history from his feet.

Goldberg – 56 years old

Debuted in 1997

Bill Goldberg is an invincible and unstoppable mountain of muscle. One of the most impressive enforcers in the history of modern wrestling. By the way, he came into the business from American football. Not surprisingly, one of the key techniques in his arsenal was the "football" harpoon. However, his set has never been distinguished by diversity: a harpoon and a jackhammer. And that was enough for the fans!

Chris Jericho – 52 years old

Debuted in 1990

Chris "Jerico" Irvine is one of the hardest-working wrestlers on our list. Before getting into WCW, where he became almost the main face of the company, he traveled the world for five years. Chris performed in small promotions in Japan and even in the Mexican company CMLL. Therefore, he can do both traditional Western wrestling and lucha libre.

As you can understand, wrestling not only attracts more and more new faces but also does not allow the old professionals to leave. Yes, this is a profitable business and it's hard to give up such hard-earned fame. Let's hope that our favorite stars will be able to please us for many more years.
