Episode 26: Collision Course
Robbie Rocket vs Vivian Rivera
They lock up and Vivian gets an arm drag on Robbie. They lock up again and Vivian gets a side headlock. Robbie escapes and gets an arm bar, turning it into a side headlock.. Robbie whips Vivian into the ropes and Vivian is able to slide under a kick from Robbie, grabs her leg and brings her down for a two count.
Robbie is then whipped into the corner and Vivian then takes her down with a modified hammerlock into a pin for two. Robbie comes off the ropes with a Hurricanrana and snap mares Vivian out of the corner. She hits a leg lariat into two. Robbie gets a series of blows and then a kick in the corner. Robbie covers for two. Robbie stomps down Vivian and then leaps to the second rope. She comes off into a side kick from Voivian who covers for two.
Robbie goes for a wheelbarrow, but Vivian is able to block it and instead hits Robbie with a snap suplex and a two count. Robbie gets a pair of blows in and signals for a move off the ropes, but Vivian grabs her for a back breaker. Vivian puts Robbie into the Gori stretch, but Robbie escapes and gets an arm drag. Robbie hits a Code Breaker for the pin and the win.
Winner: Robbie Rocket
An OK spot fest of a match, which is something we don’t normally get from WOW.
BK Rhythm vs Stephy Slays
BK continues her streak of being on every episode.
They lock up and Slays gets a headlock takeover. BK locks on a head scissors, but Slays is able to escape and turn it into a cover for two. Slays gets up and has a side headlock, but BK reverses it into an arm bar. Slays reverses it, uses it to take down BK and then gets a crucifix pin for two.
BK is able to get an arm bar, but Slays gets a leg lock. BK reverses it and Slays reverses it back, and then turns it into a Boston Crab. BK gets to the ropes. Slays goes into the corner where BK is trying to get a quick reprieve and tries for a monkey flip, but BK is able to escape and drop Slays into the top turnbuckle.
BK gets a series of kicks on Slays in the corner and then drags her to the middle of the ring and covers for two. Slays goes into the corner and BK charges, but Slays is able to fight back. BK gets a sidewalk slam for two. BK locks on a rear choke, and Slays is able to escape and gets a schoolboy rollup for two. Slays knocks BK down and then gets a sling blade. Slays is finally able to get her monkey flip and charges the corner. BK dodges and Slays is able to get in a kick and BK tries to charge the corner. Slays gets on BK’s shoulders and hits a Victory Roll for the pin and the win.
Winner: Stephy Slays
An OK match showing both women’s experience with Slays being in WOW for a decade and BK being their most spotlighted wrestler the last few months.
We then get a spotlight on how Randi Rah Rah and Coach Campanelli were able to win the Tag Team Titles for a week before losing them last week.
Gigi Gianni and Amber Rodriguez vs the Bully Busters (Keta Rush and Jennifer Flores)
Rush and Gianni start off as they lock up with a greco roman knuckle lock, but Gianni kicks her away. They lock up again, collar and elbow, and Gianni forever her back into the corner. The ref makes them break, and Rush is able to lock on an arm bar and she escapes a side headlock from Gianni. Rush turns it into a headlock and then a knuckle lock. Gianni is able to push Rush down, and Gianni mounts her. Rush is able to pull Gianni with a double arm drag after she works to her feet, and then comes off the ropes with a hurricanrana.
Gianni tags in Rodriguez and Flores is also tagged in. Flores locks on an arm bar and Rodriguez reverses it and then trades control of the arm bar until Flores gets a pair of spinning arm drags. Flores covers for two and tags in Rush. Rush covers for two and tags in Flores who gets a top rope sunset flip for one.
Gianni tags in and Rodriguez hits a clothesline for Gianni to cover for two. They then double team Flores and work quick tags until Rodriguez goes for an axe handle for the second rope, and Flores dodges it. Flores gets the hot tag on Rush who cleans house.
Flores tags in for a bicycle slam, the pin and the win.
Winners: Jennifer Flores and Keta Rush
We get a hype video for the next match.
Jesse Jones vs Fury w/The Heavy Metal Sisters
Fury taunts Jones, and when they finally lock up, it’s a series of waistlocks. They then trade headlocks. Fury is able to take Jones down and works on Jones’s leg. Jones gets a pair of arm drags and then hits a version of Soul Food where she had the foot in the armpit instead of the face.
Jones hits a hip attack in the corner and Fury goes to the outside. When Jones follows, Razor clotheslines her as the ref is dealing with Mezmeriah on the apron. Jones is tossed back into the ring and Fury stomps on Jones before a one count. Fury chokes Jones on the second rope, and then Razor does the same from the outside as the ref is distracted.
Fury keeps up the attack on the ropes before a pair of two counts. Fury picks up Jones, and Jones gets a series of shoulder blocks while holding on to Fury. Jones then misses a shoulder drop, and Fury hits a running knee, and then chops Jones down for a one count. Jones gets a Russian Leg Sweep and crawls to the ropes. She fights Fury with a kick and a series of strikes. When she has Fury down, Razor gets on the apron. As Fury runs at her, she gets out of the way, making it so Fury rams into Razor, knocking her to the floor.
Jones takes advantage and gets The Stroke and locks on an arm bar. Fury taps out.
Winner: Jesse Jones
Mezmeriah attacks Jones after the bell, and as Fury joins in, American runs in for the save. Levi, Americana’s son joins them in the ring.
