WWE filed a motion earlier yesterday in California, requesting an extension in time before they respond to MLW's latest Amended lawsuit against them, meaning they will again file a new motion for the court to dismiss the case.
WWE was slated to respond by 3/20 but are asking for an extension until 4/7. If that goes through, MLW will have until 5/8 to respond.
WWE will get until 5/29 to support their motion, at which point the court would, on their own timeline, issue a ruling.
Should MLW's suit be dismissed the second time, that would likely be it for it. Should WWE fail to get the Amended case dismissed, the two sides would go forward with discovery and prepare for trial, unless they come to some sort of settlement.
