Match Number One : Rocky Romero, Josh Alexander, Adrian Quest, and Mascara Dorada versus Volador Jr., KUSHIDA, Kevin Knight, and DKC
KUSHDA starts things off with Alexander. They try to get the advantage and Josh with a waist lock and take down. KUSHIDA with a wrist lock but Josh holds on to the waist lock. Josh with a front face lock and KUSHIDA with a wrist lock but Josh goes for a drop toe hold and KUSHIDA blocks it and he connects with a palm strike. KUSHIDA with a top wrist lock into a double wrist lock. Josh gets KUSHIDA up and runs him into the turnbuckles. KUSHIDA escapes a suplex and Josh goes for the ankle but KUSHIDA counters into an ankle lock. Josh with an ankle lock of his own and they fall into the ropes.
Kevin and Quest tag in and Kevin with a waist lock and Quest with a standing switch. Kevin with a standing switch and arm drag Quest with a head scissors and arm drag. Kevin with a head scissors. Kevin with a leg sweep. Kevin flips over Quest and Quest with a springboard twisting cross body. Quest is sent to the apron and Kevin with a forearm. Quest with a springboard head scissors and drop kick for a near fall. Quest with a wrist lock and Rocky tags in and he works on the arm but Kevin escapes. Volador tags in and Rocky tags in Dorada. Volador wants to face Rocky but Rocky shimmies to tell Dorada to get in the ring.
Both men wit handspring back flips and Volador with a head scissors. Volador runs into a boot and Dorada with a twisting bulldog. Dorada goes to the ropes for a springboard drop kick. Rocky tags in and he kicks Volador. Dorada wants to know why Rocky did it and Rocky apologizes. They miss a double clothesline and Volador with a head scissors to Dorada and a drop kick to Rocky to send him to the floor. Volador goes up the ramp to send Rocky back into the ring. DKC with kicks and a drop kick to send Rocky into the corner.
KUSHIDA tags in and Rocky sends DKC to the floor and he kicks KUSHIDA. Josh tags in and KUSHIDA with chops but Josh with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Josh with a heel hook and he stomps on the ankle. Quest tags in and he hits an elbow drop to the leg. Quest with a kick to the hamstring and Dorada tags in and kicks KUSHIDA. Dorada with kicks to the head and a chcop in the corner. KUSHIDA pushes Dorada and they exchange forearms. Dorada with a snap mare and a drop kick to the side of the head for a near fall.
Dorada with a double wrist lock and Rocky tags in and he kicks KUSHIDA in the ribs. Rocky with a punch and he runs his forearm across the bridge of the nose. Rocky with an Irish whip and Infinity Clotheslines but he runs into a back elbow from KUSHIDA. Quest tags in and stops KUSHIDA from making the tag. KUSHIDA with a double back elbow and he tags in DKC. DKC with chops to Quest followed by a running drop kick. DKC with a somersault splash to Dorada. DKC chops Quest and Dorada.
DKC with a thrust kick to Quest and chops to Dorda followed by an arm drag. DKC with a springboard double arm drag and a double drop kick. DKC with a suicide dive to Quest and Dorada. DKC sends Quest back into the ring and he goes up top for a thrust kick. DKC gets a near fall. Kevin tags in and they go for a double suplex but Rocky and Josh catch Quest. Dorada with a missile drop kick. KUSHIDA with a forearm to send Dorada to the floor. Volador with a springboard drop kick to Rocky and Josh.
Quest kicks Volador and sends him to the floor. Quest goes for a head scissors but KUSHIDA catches Quest and gets him on the shoulders. Kevin with a drop kick and KUSHIDA with an electric chair drop for a near fall by Kevin. DKC with forearms to Josh and Josh sends DKC to the apron. Josh with a knee to the head and a cross body to the back through the ropes. Volador with a head scissors to Rocky and a flip dive onto Rocky.
Dorada with a moonsault off the turnbuckles onto Volador. KUSHIDA with an elbow to block a German suplex. Josh goes for a power bomb but KUSHIDA escapes. KUSHIDA with a hoverboard lock and Kevin with a DDT to stop Quest and Kevin gets the three count.
Winners: Volador Jr., KUSHIDA, Kevin Knight, and DKC
After the match, KUSHIDA has some words for Josh while Rocky and Volador push each other and exchange punches.
KUSHIDA and Josh continue to exchange words.
Volador gets on the mic and he Rocky he wants to face Rocky in a hair match.
We go to the back for comments from Rocky Romero.
He mentions the CMLL championship he has on his shoulder. On March 17th, at an event that is sold out due to him. You are going to be bald. As much as I hate seeing a fight between a father and a son, it needs to be done. This, between us, needs to be over. I will be the new face of CMLL. I will see you on March 17th.
Volador says I came to your house to give you a warning. On March 17th, you’ll be the one bald at the end. Be ready for what is to come.
KUSHIDA says on March 30th, New Japan and Impact will join forces. Josh Alexander is a name I have heard for a long time. I do not know if I will be getting a title match or not but I am the one who deserves it.
Match Number Two: KAIRI versus Mercedes Mone for the IWGP Women’s Championship
They lock up and Mone backs KAIRI into the corner and Mone with a clean break. They lock up and Mone with a wrist lock. KAIRI with a reversal into a hammer lock. Mone with a side head lock. KAIRI with punches and Mone with a springboard arm drg into a crossface but KAIRI escapes. Mone wants a test of strength and KAIRI obliges. They try for the advantage and KAIRI with the advantage but Mone gets KAIRI down but KAIRI bridges. Mone with a kick to the arm and a side head lock. KAIRI with a head scissors and drop kick. Mone goes to the floor.
KAIRI with a forearm off the apron. KAIRI sends Mone back into the ring. KAIRI with a chop. KAIRI with another chop and she misses a palm strike in the corner. Mone with chops and a wrist lock. Mone with an arm drag off the turnbuckles and a running double knee strike in the corner for a near fall. Mone with a kick and a wrist lock. Mone goes to the turnbuckles again and KAIRI pushes Mone and catches her in the tree of woe. KAIRI goes up top and Mone with forearms and a kick. Mone sends KAIRI into the turnbuckles on the apron and she pulls KAIRI into the turnbuckle. Mone pulls KAIRI into the ring post. Mone gets a near fall. Mone kicks KAIRI and slaps her. KAIRI with forearms and Mone with a DDT for a near fall. Mone with an arm bar. KAIRI with a rollup for a near fall. Mone gets a near fall. Mone throws her fuzzy shin pad at KAIRI and chokes KAIRI in the ropes. KAIRI goes to the floor. Mone sends KAIRI into the ring and hits an arm breaker for a near fall.
Mone puts KAIRI in the tree of woe and then kicks KAIRI in the upper chest. Mone tries to pull KAIRI into the ring post but KAIRI blocks it and pulls Mone into the ring post. KAIRI Irish whips Mone into the ring post. KAIRI tries to do it again and Mone reverses it and sends KAIRI into the ring post. They get into the ring before the twenty count. Mone with an arm bar take down. Mone puts KAIRI on the turnbuckles and Mone with chops to the back. KAIRI crotches Mone and puts her in the tree of woe. KAIRI with a double stomp. KAIRI blocks a kick and hits a blockbuster and spear.
KAIRI sets for a sliding forearm in the corner and connects. KAIRI goes up top and hits a forearm for a near fall. KAIRI with a snap mare and a figure four head scissors. Mone rolls through to get to the ropes. Mone rolls to the apron and KAIRI joins her. KAIRI tries to get Mone up but Mone blocks it and she sends KAIRI to the floor. Mone with Meteora off the apron. Mone sends KAIRI back into the ring and she goes up top and hits Meteora for a near fall. Mone with a rear chin lock but KAIRI drops down and gets a near fall with a rollup. Mone with a rollup for a near fall. KAIRI with a drop kick to the knee but she misses a back fist. Mone with a cutter and rollup for a near fall. Mone goes for a double knee drop but KAIRI avoids it and she applies a Cloverleaf. KAIRI pulls Mone back into the center of the ring to reapply the hold. Mone with a crossface and KAIRI gets to the ropes to force a break. Mone with elbows to the neck. KAIRI with a back fist for a near fall. KAIRI with an Alabama Slam to Mone and she tries to go to the turnbuckles but Mone traps the leg to stop KAIRI. Mone goes to the apron and KAIRI with a forearm and kick to the back of the head. Mone with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall.
Mone with a suplex and she holds on for a second one and then sets for a third one but KAIRI blocks it and hits a DDT. KAIRI with a forearm and Mone fires back. They continue the exchange. KAIRI with a kick and Mone pulls the referee in the way for a back fist from KAIRI and the referee goes down. Mone begs for mercy from KAIRI and KAIRI with punches as they go to the floor. KAIRI with forearms to the back of the head and then Mone falls off the ramp. KAIRI goes for a clothesline off the stage but Mone blocks it and kicks KAIRI. Mone sets up a table.Mone sets for a suplex through the table but KAIRI blocks it and power bombs Mone through the table. KAIRI sends Mone back into the ring.
KAIRI goes up top for the elbow drop but Mone gets her boots up. Mone goes up top and goes for a frog splash but KAIRI gets her knees up. KAIRI with a crossface but Mone escapes by biting the wrist. Mone with the Mone Maker for the three count.
Winner: Mercedes Mone (new champion)
After the match, Mone offers her hand and KAIRI shakes it and then they hug. KAIRI puts the belt around Mone’s waist and KAIRI raises Mone’s hand.
We go to Mercedes and she is welcomed to New Japan and she is asked how does it feel to be the IWGP Women’s Champion.
Mercedes feels like she is going to throw up because she is so nervous. This is everything that she has wanted. The dream to wrestle the best in Japan. I beat the best. KAIRI gave me the fight of my life. You almost smacked my face off, but I did not give up because I am not a quitter. I will put this title on the map and I am going to take it global. This is just the beginning.
