ACTION Wrestling “It’s Cool”

3/10/23 Newnan, GA

We’re live at Madras Middle School with a pretty stacked house! Johnny Mosely is at the commentary table tonight solo. Scott Hensley is your announcer tonight! Let’s do this!

Match 1: Top Team (Jay Lucas & Terry Yaki) vs Out of the World (Arik Royal & BK Westbrook)

The crowd is VERY MUCH for Top Team tonight and they’d like BK and Royal to get Out of This Building. BK taking a lot of early heat and the fans eating that up. Really good slingshot double knee rana from Yaki. Terry is flying but it allows BK to get the tag to the Acegawd. This is bad for Royal as he eats a double dropkick and sling blade for two. BK back in but it’s really not going well. Out of the blue, Lucas sent through the ropes and a Royal seated senton last squashed the life out of him. Out of this World taking the chance to start getting back into it. Side Russian and a wheelbarrow senton combo. Acegawd’s curse! Yaki makes the save. Ref breaking up the cheap double team as Yaki’s back in! Big dive party from top team! BK with a slingshot moonsault to save Arik from the pin! BK eats a huge cutter but Ace is just dropping fools left and right. BK picks up Terry and Royal hits a Super Kobe off the ropes for the win!

Winners: Out of this World

Match 2: Kevin Ryan (w/ Suge D & Alex Kane) vs O’Shay Edwards

Oh my. This could be a classic Kevin Ryan a**whipping or this could be a mugging by the Good Hand. Suge and Kane rile the crowd up hard. They might be Kaiju food. Edwards invites Ryan back into the ring after Good Hand runs for cover. Big “we hate Kevin” chants. Edwards waits for the first shot. He gets a handshake. Ryan eats a spear and the Good Hand pulls him right out to help Ryan recover. Alex Kane faces down Edwards as Kevin recovers. Ref is looking away…Suge and Kane swarm on O’Shay. Right to the post and Kevin Ryan is back up to lay in stomps…and Kaiju pops up and slams him down. Kevin caught on a crossbody and put into a long vertical suplex. Kevin has the ref distracted again and Good Hand assaults Kaiju with a shoe. Ryan with a blockbuster to the apron! O’Shay catches Ryan again and hits an eight-buckle stampede! This was a three but Suge jumps up on the apron! Kane hits a belly to belly suplex on Edwards! Kevin makes the crawl! One. Two. Kick out! Ryan picking Edwards back to his feet…Kaiju Driver from O’Shay! That’s the three!

Winner: O’Shay Edwards

Match 3: Bobby Flaco vs Carlos Romo

Well, this should be fun! Carlos with a cheap shot early but Bobby just takes the party to the floor. Flaco shouldn’t be thinking about party time right now and Romo grounds him and just unloads some wicked kicks. He tries a cross armbar but Flaco hits the rope. Big crossbobby! That’s not enough. Romo with a running knee for two. Flaco with a reversal to a ddt for two! Romo with a hangman’s double stomp! Shining wizard! Kick out! Bob tries to roll away from a moonsault but eats it…kick out! Romo just swatting at Bobby’s head and Flaco rages to his feet! Flurry of lunches! Slingshot cutter for three! 

Winner: Bobby Flaco

Match 4: Billie Starkz vs Devlyn Macabre

Good graps through a test of strength early. Devlyn going for the hair right away, she’s not looking to pull any punches but Billie’s game is strong in the early minutes. Trip to the outside, Devlyn introduces Starkz to the post. Chokes her on the ropes. Stomps in the corner. Devlyn is wearing Billie down and just pulling her down by the hair. Billie eats a backbreaker off the second! Running double knees into the corner and Devlyn drags a limp Billie out. Kick out! Billie with a foot up, rebound kick! Spinning back kick! German bridge for two! Billie gives Macabre a taste of the post and she stumbles into a Space Jesus Suicide Dive! Billie tosses her back in, swanton connects! Devlyn kicks out! She tries a roll up, Devlyn hits a cutter out of nowhere! Kick out! Slugging it out in the center! Devlyn hits a Destroyer! 2.9999, it was so close! Billie gets her up into an electric chair and hits the Sugoi Driver to knock off a VERY GAME Devlyn Macabre.

Winner: Billie Starkz

The kids pour out of the stands to mob Billlie with high fives and hugs as she gets out of the ring. 

Match 5: The Good Hand (Suge D & Alex Kane) vs Damyan Tangra & Matt Sells

Former partners Tangra and Kane start this off. Nope, Suge tags in to disappoint the Mat Scientist. Suge tries to exercise his grappling skills but Tangra proved the superior competitor. Sells tags in, double whipping the good hand together! Sells and Tangra double humo the good hand into the mat. Llllolllll. Good Hand finally isolates Tangra and starts unloading. Tangra kicks away, tag to Sells! Back elbow and cutter to Suge! Kick out! He’s setting up the palm strike…Suge dodges, Judas effect! Kane eats a stunner! Double cover! Kick out! Suge pulls Damyan to the floor, Scramble with Sells…he goes for a backslide, back kick to Sells crotch! The ref missed it! Suge with the roll up and gets the three! The Good Hand stands tall at least once tonight.

Winners: Good Hand 

Match 6: AC Mack vs Derek Neal

Mack is looking for revenge after Neal’s surprise attack last month in Tyrone. Neal is surly salty bastard and he lays out the ringside attendant. Mack just throwing hands. Thez press! Dropkick sends Derek to the floor! Neal is a big tough boy though and just tosses Mack around. Hard punches in the corner and Mack buckles. Northern lights for two! Is Mack going to sleep? Neal sent back to the floor, double suicide dives from AC! Neal tries a dude buster, reverse to a Mack 10? No! Mack sent back to the floor and he crumbles. Neal throws Mack back in and hits the dude buster clean in the center and pins him. Beast mode ACTION debut from the Kings Road Slayer. 

Winner: Derek Neal

Match 7: 1 Called Manders vs Brogan Finlay

Brogan used to go here and he makes sure the crowd knows how trash he thinks this school is. Manders pops the crowd by sending Finlay right to the floor, whipping him with chaps and chopping up that pale chest. Manders holds Brogan as a bunch of children mob to get some chops in. Manders might have to save Brogan from this. Brogan gets Manders coming back in and stomps him out. Huge chop wakes the cowboy up enough to eat a boot to the face in the corner. Manders wants the powerslam but Brogan slips free. Hard chop and kick to the spin. Ow. Manders fakes some distort punches to a ddt! Big body splash! Huge spinebuster! Kick out! Manders wants the clothesline but Brigan is fighting, left hand lariat! Manders goes for the stampede but Brogan hits a codebreaker to the arm! Brain buster! The cowboy is down and out! Wow!

Winner: Brogan Finlay

Main Event: Violence is Forever (Kevin Ku & Dominic Garrini) vs Culture Inc (Eli Knight & Malik Bosede w/ Nick J Holliday)(for the ACTION Tag Team Championships)

The kids in this crowd are absolutely wild for Culture Inc’s entrance. Is tonight the night? This is a just a brawl at the bell. Nick Holliday coaches his guys to a double dive to the outside! VIF eating chairs! Ku with a sliding lariat. Ku gets spine bustered onto Dom! Kick out! Uranage facebuster to Bosede and a kick chaser for two. VIF working Bosede over and grinding the challenger out. Eli tries to save it but Ku throws him in a trash can. Drape over the top rope and Ku hits the knee drop to Malik for two. Malik with a desperate lariat to Ku drops them…Eli is back to the apron! Tag! Eli goes wild! Slingshot moonsault to Ku! Back kick to Dom on the outside! Springboard missile dropkick! Crowd fired up as Eli hits a moonsault for T…wo! Eli with a flip bridge, Dom cuts it off! Garrini and Bosede trading heavy hands! Ku recovers and gets into the fight! Everyone’s fighting! Kicks caught and VIF decks them. Gutbuster/Lariat combo but Eli doesn’t say die. Dom going for the muscle buster…backslide pin! Ku dropped! Slam to Dom, Moonsault by Malik! Eli goes more than halfway across the ring with a frog splash but Dom is too close and grabs the rope. Eli collides and sent to the floor. Dom hits the muscle buster, Ku with the double stomp! Malik is do—He kicks out!!! Back and forth, Ku tries the leg trap pin, Eli kicks out! Ku caught with a high knee! Double clothesline! Dom and Bosede throwing bombs. Roaring elbow! This is a war! Both teams are exhausted and trying to do just enough to get the win here. Ku trying a superplex….Bosede gets him off there with an electric chair! Dom wraps up Malik with a rear naked choke. Eli off the top with a shooting star breaks it up!!!! Dom kicks out! Ku is furious and throwing hard chops and choking Malik out. Ku’s talking trash…Malik picks him up…Eli hits a double stomp! Dom’s alone! The Bone Collector takes a slingshot doomsday device! Ku tries to save it but he can’t get there…CULTURE INC GETS THE WIN!!!! Fantastic war of a main event tonight. Fire the confetti cannon for this one as the ring is surrounded by excited fans! Big celebration as they are joined by Tangra, AC, O’Shay & Matt Sells! Awesome moment for these guys. 

Winners (and new champions): Culture Inc

I notice the Good Hand giving the new champs a side eye but they walk away. Another night, perhaps. Congrats and stay woke, y’all!
