Alamo Drafthouse will be running tenth anniversary screenings for the film Springbreakers, which features Jeff Jarrett in a supporting role. Promotional material for the screening run notes, "It's the 10 year anniversary of James Franco slurring “Spring Break forever,” which became the A24 mantra heard around the world. SPRING BREAKERS, director Harmony Korine's hypnotic and mind-blowing film, was also the very first title we stamped with a Drafthouse Recommends seal of approval, a designation that champions works that deserve to attract as large an audience as possible. SPRING BREAKERS is as sleazy as they come: starring two Disney babes (Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens) and a PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (Ashley Benson), plus Korine’s wife (Rachel Korine), the movie is a highlighter glow stick catastrophe set in the sticky, humid beaches of Florida during the coveted week of Spring Break, where debauchery is encouraged. Without SPRING BREAKERS, the A24-produced hit television series EUPHORIA would not even exist. (Jenny Nulf)"
