Impact Wrestling's Laredo Kid, who was injured in October 2022, will officially return to the ring today in Texas.
The match will mark Laredo's first bout since rupturing an intenstine while wrestling in Mexico, requiring emergency surgery. Laredo was wrestling Hijo del Vikingo with the injury believed to have occurred when Vikingo landed roughly on Kid during a move off the top rope:
Laredo will be competing for the Lucha Maniaks independent promotion in Laredo, Texas.
There is no word yet when he will return to Impact Wrestling.
