It’s time for NWA Power, recorded at the WDEU Studios in Tampa Florida. Our commentary team is Tim Storm,Velvet Sky, and Joe Galli.
We start at the interview podium as Kyle Davis lets us know that Le Rosa Negra is going to let us know what she is cashing in her championship opportunity against Kamille. Kamille comes to the podium and hugs Negra. Kamille states that when she started training, she looked up to Negra, but now, the tables have turned because she has the thing Negra wants the most. She says that at the PPV, Negra is the enemy and she has no mercy on her enemies. Negra says win or lose, she will give Kamille something to remember.
Fodder w/Angelina Love vs The Already In The Ring BHS
They lock up collar and elbow, and Fodder shoves BHS to the mat. Fodden then hits a kick to the midsection and a head butt. He follows with chops. They go to the corner when BHS gets in some chops and showboating until Fodder slams his head into the top turnbuckle. He then works over BHS in the corner, snap mares him out, and then drops elbows on him. Fodder then works over BHS in the corner and clotheslines BHS down. Fodder hits the Psycho Slam for the pin and the win.
Winner: Fodder
Next up is May Valentine with EC3 and Jordan Clearwater. EC3 talks about the partnership with the Church. May asks Clearwater if he wants to join CYA, and he says he doesn’t understand it, but he is open to it.
Kenzie Paige vs KiLynn King : Women’s TV Title Qualifying match
They lock up and go to the corner where Paige escapes. They lock up again and go to the ropes and Paige calls for the break. As King is talking with the ref, Paige gets a kick to the midsection. They run the ropes and King hits a shoulder tackle and while Pauige drops, King doesn’t move. Paige jumps on King’s back. King shrugs her off and hits a series of slams and covers for two.
They go to the turnbuckle, and after jockeying for position, King hits a leaping knee from the top. They move to brawl on the floor with King in command. Paige is rolled into the ring and she snaps King across the top backward, then hits a super king for a cover and two. King fights out of a side slam, but Paige gets an elbow in the corner and then chokes King on the second rope. Paige gets double knees on King’s back in the ropes and covers for two.
Paige gets a rear chinlock. King fights her way free and tries for a flying head scissors but can’t quite get it, so she gets a DDT for two. Paige slaps on a crossface. King rolls on her back and then lifts up Paige and dumps her on the top turnbuckle. She goes up to the top and hits a super plex. Both women are down. They both get up and run at each other and King hits clotheslines and chops. King slams Paige and covers for two. King tries for the Excalibuter, but Paige escapes and hits a pair of super kicks, and then hits a uranagi for two.
They each hit a series of slaps. King ends it with a fist, and picks up Paige, who rolls through for a two count. Paige comes off the ropes for a wheelbarrow, but King stops it and nails a kick to Paige’s back for two. King again tries for the Excalibuster, but Paige pulls herself up and starts pounding King. She then turns it into a head scissors takedown. Paige comes off the ropes with a cutter for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kenzie Paige
Next up, May Valentine and Aron Stevens are with a therapist. He tries a number of different styles, and Aron falls asleep during the therapy. The therapist starts drinking as they argue. He also checks his phone and snacks as they continue to argue. At the end of the session, they officially break up. It was a pretty funny bit.
We then get a pretape with Chris Adonis and Joe Galli in an empty arena. Adonis goes over his history in the NWA, and he declares himself the challenger against Tyrus at the PPV in Chicago.
Bully Ray vs Mike Knox
Knox comes to the ring with a chair and leaves it on the apron as he charges Bully. He beats down Bully and wraps Bully’s chair around his throat and starts choking him as the bell rings for them to break it up. Knox hits a series of strikes and elbow drops. He then takes the chair to Bully’s back. Knox swings the chair at Bully in the corner,and Bully hits a spear on Knox.
Bully takes the chair to Knox. The crowd cheers for a table and Bully obliges them. Matt Cardona attacks Bully as he is setting up the table. Knox and Cardona beat Bully down. Cardona orders Knox to put Bully through the table. Cardona keeps yelling and Knox and Knox drops Bully and puts Cardona through the table.
He gives Bully the nod and spits on Cardona and we’re out of time!
