Tonight’s Wrestling Open features so many debuts and returns, they’re naming it SPOTLIGHT. It’s 7:45…we have a SPOTLIGHT SPOTLIGHT match?

SPOTLIGHT MATCH: Clara Carreras vs Evie de La Rosa

Evie is a bit of a muscle machine and super intense looking. She wants none of La Chica’s fun. Clara with a shogun off the ropes! Second rope cannonball!! hard knee cuts off the rally. Evie just pulling Carreras around by her hair. Sunset flip can’t get it done. Evie hits a butterfly suplex. Clara kicks out! Superplex? Clara fights it off! Clara hits a pair of lariats and spear for…one! Evie tries the superplex again but Clara slips under and powerbombs! Flip over bridge for the win!

Winner: Clara Carreras

And we’re live! Rich Palladino is back on announcing duties this week. Paul Crockett and Denver Colorado are at commentary. Let’s do this!

Match 1: TNT (Terrence & Terrell) vs Miracle Generation (Dustin Waller & Kylon King) 

This is a non-title affair for the BRAND NEW IWTV TAG TEAM CHAMPS! Kylon wants this to be a defense…TNT can’t challenge for the Eliminator Cup…but they CAN challenge for the IWTV belts!!! It’s on!!!!

Match 1: TNT (Terrence & Terrell) vs Miracle Generation (Dustin Waller & Kylon King) (for the IWTV Tag Team Championships)

TNT is definitely CONFIDENT and in MG’s faces. They WANT to make a statement in their debut. Terrence is strong for sure but the champs are on another level, keeping both big guys on the backpedal. Terrence pulls Dustin’s hair from the apron and take control for a bit. Big pop up double flapjack for two. Dustin eats a double rolling dvd and Kylon has to make the save. Kylon with the tag in finally and running wild. Double northern lights with a bridge for two! Kylon telegraphs the brain bustahhhh and runs right into a 3D. Kylon fights off a doomsday…Dustin with the handspring cutter to Terrell! Powerplex to Terrence finishes TNT off!

Winners: Miracle Generation

The champs on the mic, with their first tag team title defense. Miracle Generation has been discussing the landscape and have decided to vacate the Eliminator Cup championships and give another team a chance to carry them with the honor they have. But they are giving up the IWTV belts…as far as they’re concerned, the IWTV tag belts ARE the Wrestling Open tag belts!

Match 2: Devlyn Macabre vs Kelsey Raegan

These two metal ladies are staring each other down hard. Hard shots back and forth early. They both clearly like the pain they can dish out. Devlyn escapes to the floor, Kelsey cannonballs out! Devlyn with a iconoclasym that gets DISTANCE! Devlyn with hard knees, a running meteora! Perfect plex for two!Kelsey with a high cross body! Devlyn won’t stay down. She’s going for a sharpshooter? Devlyn grabs the hair and just pummels Kelsey. Ref Tyler has to physically pull her off and Tyler is left frightened in the corner. Huge German but Kelsey barely kicks out. Sunset flip bomb for the win! These two have worked together a lot outside the NE but they absolutely brought it for us tonight. A well deserved please come back for both.

Winner: Kelsey Raegan

Match 3: Pedro Dones vs Carlos Romo

We give Pedro the Ray Jaz treatment. He deserves it. We pop hard for Carlos, welcome back! Carlos doing a great job of staying out of Pedro’s grip and reversing hold after hold. Dones going for the ride and has to pull the ropes to get Carlos out of his groove. Hard shots from Pedro. Huge back elbow leaves Romo gasping. He puts on Romo’s vest and blows his nose on it. Sick f***. Romo keeps kicking out. Pedro runs throat first into the ropes! Romo throwing forearms! Swinging neckbreaker! Pedro tries a slingshot spear but Romo double stomps him. Jeeeesus! Shining wizard for two! Romo hits another! He hits a beautiful moonsault but falls right into a triangle choke and Pedro quickly taps him out. Great match, sick finish.

Winner: Pedro Dones

Match 4: Percy Ryan vs Alec Price (w/ Steven Stetson)

Percy is wrestling in a sweater? Price doesn’t like it. He wants Ryan to take it seriously. Price decks Percy in his perfect jawline. Good early back and forth but it’s hard to root for Price with this garbage cowboy cheering him on. Price with that rope jump move but Percy jumps away and Price comes down on his Prize City OG’s. Great headkick of the second! Stetson is clearly a distracting presence and this may be costing Price at times. He tries the Suprize kick but Percy catches that. Half and half suplex, Price is fired up. He flaps the ears…flying bulldog! Percy kicks out! Stetson tries to take Price’s one more time taunt. Price is furious and Percy tries a rollup..Price pushes off…suuuuuprize kick! Stetson is overjoyed at the win but Price is just clearly miserable.

Winner: Alec Price

Match 5: Milk Chocolate (Randy Summers & Brandon Watts) vs Security Inc (Ronnie Moses & Malcom Murray) 

Watts with a slap to Moses and runs for cover. Summers is getting beat to hell. Malcom in, big atomic drops and a slam. Watts tries twin magic. THIS DOESNT WORK, shocker. Summers at least uses it as a distraction to take down Malcom. Malcom dodges, tag to Ronnie! Huge pop up cutter to Watts. Summers drops Moses off the apron, swarm on Malcom. Double shoulder breaker for the win!

Winners: Milk Chocolate 

Match 6: Channing Thomas (w/ Sidney Bakabella) vs Love Doug

Channing attacks Doug at the entryway! Doug batters him and hits high cross body with his cupid wings still on. Doug pulls him off the top but Channing is fighting back. Hard whip into the buckles. Channing wears the wings? Big knee drop! Sidney trying to hype up Channing but no one loves him. Doug with the big boot! Michanoku driver! Channing almost drops to a sliced bread. Doug protests the count and Bakabella slips something in Channing kneepad. Doug goes for the rebound lariat and Channing knees him cold. Doug takes the three and “Mr Beyond” is back on the winning side. 

Winner: Channing Thomas 

We’re announcing the championship tournament participants! Who will be in the tournament? Rich Palladino has the scoop! Next week we kick off the tournament! Dan Barry, BRG, TJ Crawford, Love Doug, Aaron Rourke, Rex Lawless, Pedro Dones, Marcus Mathers, Channing Thomas, Steven Stetson, Bobby Orlando, Fancy Ryan Clancy, Ichiban, Brad Hollister, Alec Price. The 16th participant is a MYSTERY?!? They also announce that Ray Jaz has been barred from the tournament after his last month of aggressive actions towards Wrestling Open personnel. The crowd pops hard for the removal of the Jersey “Legend”

Match 7: Ryan Galeone vs Fancy Ryan Clancy

Let’s go, Ryan! Clancy has his hand taped up after last Sunday’s clash with Zack Sabre JR. Galeone just pummeling Clancy early. Fancy is just staggered and chopped and tossed and generally abused through this whole thing. Clancy tries to come off the top and Galeone just swats him out of the sky! Fancy jawbreaker finally staggers the big man. But Galeone just blasts a dropkick. Clancy kicks out. Galeone just bullying him with these short kicks. Clancy jumping high for these enziguris! Snap German for two. Clancy heads up but Galeone right up with a one arm press slam to a knee! Reverse Razor’s edge to a tombstone! This should be it but Clancy kicks out again! Clancy fighting back…Galeone with a superkick and powerbomb that would make Sid proud. Clancy kicks out! Galeone tries again, Clancy slips out, comes up and rolls up Galeone with a bridge (ZSJ style) for the win! Awesome awesome awesome match.

Winner: Fancy Ryan Clancy

Galeone is out of there fast as Brad Hollister ambushes Clancy from behind. Clancy fights it off and almost hits the side Russian. Bacon’s out  of there quick and Clancy gives chase!

We have a Brother’s Pulpit segment now?there church music. Nooooooo Oh no Brother Greatness has an interview segment. It’s time to get to the bottom of the Big Boofa drama. Dezmond Cole is out here and definitely looks unsure of himself. Brother Greatness says he loves and respects Boofa but he’s tired of watching him suffer and feel defeat over and over. He reminds Cole that he’s the only person who is trying to help him. That CAN’T be true. He talks about how he’s elevated the other church members. Cole recognizes and appreciates what BG has done for him these past weeks. He remembers how his parents left. How he wasn’t accepted in school. How he hasn’t found his footing here. But he commits to do it on his own. BG respects it… but says Dezmond is WRONG. He loves him more than his father did?!? Cole shoves Greatness down! Brother is furious and banishes Boofa from the Pulpit. He swears that Dezmond will be sorry. He made the WRONG choice?!? This was fun.

Main Event: Bronson vs Bobby Orlando (Sick Trick Anything Goes Street Fight)

Bronson is out first with a bucket of f***ery and holds the ring as a very serious Orlando heads out. He breathes….RIGHT INTO THE BRAWL!!! Bobby with a discus lariat! Bronson rolls out! Bobby gives chase! Bronson intros him to the post and pummels him with chops. He tries a bomb to the floor but Bobby posts him! We got a garbage can of toys! Bronson eating a pile of kendo shots! Garbage can set up but Bronson rolls out. Bobby dives and cold clocked with a lid. Bronson powerbombs him on the top of the garbage can! Owwwwww. Huge uranage. Side slam into a chair. Mom is hurtin. Bobby kicks a chair away. Boot the chair into Bronson’s face! Sick trick cutter! Bronson is busted wide open! Bobby smashes the garbage can into his head. Huge thunk! Kick out! Bobby grabs a door! Bronson trying to put him through it…Bobby with a rolling DVD through the door! Kick out! Bobby starts whipping chairs into the ring and Bronson is just getting annihilated. Set up the chairs….Bronson with a low blow! Sitout piledriver into the chairs. Oh Jesus that was a landing. Bronson chuck’s a chair and it looks like a fan took bit of that. Oof. Looks like the girl’s okay though. Bronson spreads tacks but Bobby bombs him out of the corner into them! Dan elbow drop into the tacks! Bronson stays down! What a war! 

Winner: Bobby Orlando

Bobby sets up a chair…it’s microphone Mom time. “I am that guy” - he knows he just beat a bad man. And now he wants to call out a BAD BAD BOY?!? Whaaaaaat? “I’ll be waiting”. The crowd is full on gasping for that one. Oh myyyyy! And now we have brackets?!? Let’s go!
