Episode 24: Unlikely Teams
Exile (Genesis, Exodus, and Malia Hosaka) vs The Tonga Twins and Tiki Chamorro
Exile takes the Tonga Twins out of the ring before the bell and Malia attacks Tiki. The Tonga Twins pull Genesis and Exile out of the ring and they fight on the floor. Kaos gets into the ring and tosses Malia leaving her and Tiki in the ring. Exodus is rolled into the ring and Kona joins them. The twins hit the Tonga Twist, Tiki hits a big splash and covers for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Tonga Twins and Tiki Chamorro
Ice Cold comes from the back to attack the winners, but Leia Makoa comes out as well to even the odds. The referees come out to keep them apart.
As Exile leaves, Leia says no one gets to pick on them so if they attack one, they attack them all.
In the back Lana Starr is telling Penelope Pink she’s beaten Princess Aussie once before. And after the gauntlet match, Lana Starr will have all the gold.

Aussie gets an arm drag takedown for a two count. When Aussie is whipped into the ropes, Lana Starr grabs her feet to allow Pink to attack. Pink gets a snap mare. Aussie is up and gets a Thesz press and then hits a charge into the corner. Aussie goes for a head scissors takedown, but Pink stops it and instead swings Aussie’s head into the bottom turnbuckle and tosses her to the mat.
Pink runs into a mule kick and hits a sunset flip for two. Pink hits a front face slam and a drop kick for two. Pink locks in a rear naked choke, but Aussie is able to snap mare out of it. Pink goes for a back slide pin, but instead drops Aussie in the corner. Pink then pulls Aussie into the corner and stretches her around the ring post with a modified bow and arrow.
Pink runs into a boot from Aussie, but pink follows with a shoulder thrust in the corner. She whips Aussie across the ring, and tries to follow with a charge, but Aussie moves out of the way as Pink goes through the ropes into the ring post shoulder first. Aussie gets a series of clotheslines. Aussie gets the Indian Deathlock and Lana pushes the rope close enough for Pink to grab for the break.
Aussie gets a back cracker and covers for two. Aussie goes to the top and Lana grabs her foot. This allows Pink to meet her on the top. Pink hits a super plex and covers for two. Pink drapes Aussie on the top rope and Pink goes to the second rope. Pink misses a leaping knee and Aussie hits a cutter. Aussie goes to the top and hits a splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Princess Aussie
David gets in the ring with the title belt and he tells her she’s in the Championship Gauntlet match. Aussie says this has been her dream for years.
Chantilly Chella vs Reina Del Rey World Champion Gauntlet Match Qualifier
Chella hits a series of drop kicks and Reina drops her with a clothesline. Chella hits a wheelbarrow into an arm drag. Reina goes outside the ring and Chella hits a leap through the second ropes. Reina hits Chella on the ring apron, which I hear is the hardest part of the ring. She sets up Chella on the apron and hits a running knee.
Reina picks Chella up for a stalled vertical suplex, but Chella reverses it and is able to take down Reina. Reina gets a waistlock, and Chella tries to get away with a series of elbows, but when Chella tries to come off the ropes, Reina hits a knee to Chella’s midsection. Reina beats Chella down in the corner. Chella gets a kick in the corner, a snap mare and goes to the top for a drop kick and a two count.
Chella gets a kick and a cutter for two. Chella then charges at Reina, but Reina flips her up and over, and then grabs her for the Low Rider slam, leading to the pin and the win.
Winner: Reina Del Ray
They announce that WOW will be at L:A Comic Con, one of the bigger Celebrity based conventions.
We’re given the rules for the Championship Gauntlet Match, which sounds more like a Royal Rumble.
We then get a build to the tag team match tonight with a video with Coach Campanelli and Randi Rah Rah. Miami Sweet Heat gives a traditional promo about how they will beat Coach.
Miami Sweet Heat (Lindsey and Laurie Carlson) (WOW Tag Team Champions) vs Coach Campanelli and Randi Rah Rah
Miami Sweet Heat come to the ring with Lana Starr, Penelope Pink and Vickie Lynn McCoy.
Randi and Laurie start off, and Laurie starts with a wrist lock. They then move to trading headlocks. Laurie gets a headlock takeover and then takes Randi down with a clothesline. Coach is tagged in and Coach gets a headlock. She’s whipped off and gets a drop kick on Laurie, and follows with a neck breaker for two. Randi and Lindsey both tag in and Randi is able to take Lindsey down with a drop toe hold and locks on a side headlock. Lindsey is able to get out and takes down Randi with a shoulder block. Randi gets an arm drag and when she goes for a wheelbarrow, Lindsey stops her and turns it into a slam.
Randi is able to stop a cover with Lindsey by kicking her away. Coach and Laurie tag in and Coach gets an arm bar and a school boy for one and a jack knife cover for two. Randy tags in and gets a headlock takeover. They go into the ropes. Randi sets too soon and Laurie hits a sling blade. Lindsey is tagged in and they put on a double Boston Crab, but Randi gets to the ropes for a break.
Laurie and Lindsey work over Randi with quick tags. Randi is finally able to roll through, and Coach cleans house. Linsdey puts coach in a full nelson and Laurie goes to drop kick, but Coach escapes and that allows Coach to roll up Lindsey for the pin and the win.
Winners and NEW WOW Tag Team Champions: Coach Campanella and Randi Rah Rah
Lana Starr’s team goes after them for the beat down, but Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag hit the ring to run them off.
