Variety, when reporting on the REELZ-Peacock deal that saw REELZ receive a streaming channel on the NBC-owned streaming service, noted that Major League Wrestling Underground will not be included on the REELZ feed due to WWE's exclusivity on the channel, but that the MLW run on REELZ "wraps up after 10 weeks, making Reelz’s Tuesday 10 p.m. linear offerings available after that."
The 2/21 episode of MLW Underground on REELZ brought in 97,000 overnight viewers at 10 PM and 42,000 for the 1 AM replay. The total audience was 139,000, which was the highest overnight audience to date for the series, which is just a month into its run on the cable network.
Last night's episode did not hit the top 150 programs on basic cable last night, based on the 18-49 demo.
PWInsider.com has reached out to MLW for clarification on their REELZ standing. Internally with REELZ, MLW is listed for new episodes at least through Tuesday 4/25.
