We start off with a look at the confrontation between Davey Richards and Sam Adonis that was joined by John Hennigan.
Alex Kane, Myron Reed, and Mr. Thomas make their way to the ring and Kane says the Underground King is here. Those bulldogs don’t want anything with them. He is going to burn up their legacy and put it in the Opera Cup.
Davey Boy Smith Jr., Thomas Billington, and Mark Billington make their way onto the stage and they brawl with Kane, Thomas, and Reed.
Davey with a forearm to Kane, and Thomas and Reed need to keep Kane on his feet.
We are told that Jacob Fatu and Alex Hammerstone will meet for the MLW World Championship on March 21st.
Match Number One: Delirious and Mini Abismo Negro versus Micro Man and Lince Dorado
Lince and Delirious start things off and Delirious goes for the legs. Dorado with a side head lock and shoulder tackle but Delirious stays on his feet. Lince grabs Delirious y the beard and applies a side head lock. Dorado with a springboard cross body and a drop kick. Dorado looks at his corner and decides to tag in Micro. He stops Delirious to take off his robe and he gives it to Dorado. Delirious backs off and he tags in Abismo. Abismo kicks Micro. Abismo with kicks. Micro with an arm drag and a splash into the corner but Abismo puts Micro on the turnbuckles and he chops Micro. Micro with head butts and a somersault senton off the turnbuckles. Delirious kicks Micro and Abismo knocks Dorado off the aron. Abismo with an Irish whip into the corner. Delirious tags in.
Delirious gets a near fall. Delirious kicks Micro and grinds his foot into the midsection. Delirious sits on Micro and has some words for Lince. Micro stomps on Delirious’ foot and bites it. Micro with a diving head butt to the ding ding. Dorado tags in and he punches Abismo and Delirious. Abismo with a boot to Dorado and Dorado with a power slam. Dorado with a moonsault. Dorado kicks Abismo to the floor and then Delirious sends Dorado to the floor and Delirious Irish whips Dorado into the guardrails. Abismo with a senton off the turnbuckles onto Dorado.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dorado with a double handspring cutter. Micro tags in and he drop kicks Abismo into the ropes and he does the same to Delirious. Micro with a Tiger Feint Kick to Abismo and then to Delirious. Abismo with a back heel kick to Micro and an Angel’s Wings. Delirious goes up top, but Dorado pushes Micro out of the way to take Shadows Over Hell. Micro with a drop kick to Delirious. Abismo with an Irish whip and Micro with a head scissors and he pushes Abismo into Delirious. Micro moves and Abismo drop kicks Delirious to the floor. Dorado with a splash onto Delirious on the floor. Micro with a satellite into a victory roll for the three count.
Winners: Micro Man and Lince Dorado
After the match, the lights go out.
We see Dorado, Micro Man, and MSL down in the ring as the masked men in the long jackets attack everyone. They put their card on Micro Man.
We go to commercial.
We are back with Alex Hammerstone.
He is asked about the octopus last week. Alex says last night solved the mystery. Who was the first one to get attacked? It was Tankman. He is dealing with the Samoan Swat Team. Now they are coming after him because he is dealing with Fatu. Alex says it is Fatu and the Swat Team. After he got the box, it was Fatu. It will take more than an octopus to get him off his game. He tells them to do better next time.
We go to Mance at the jail after being bailed out. Matthew Justice is thanked for helping out Mance. Mance says he knows he owes Justice money but Real1 had it coming.
Match Number Two: Kayla Kassidy versus Billie Starkz
Kayla with a thrust kick as the bell rings. Kayla with a forearm but Billie sends Kayla to the apron and hits a back elbow followed by a suicide dive. Billie goes up top and Kayla pulls Billie off the turnbuckles. Kayla puts Billie in the ropes and pulls her to the mat by the hair. Kayla slams the head into the mat. Kayla chokes Billie in the ropes. Kayla with a knee and boot to the head. Kayla gets a near fall. Kayla with a double fish hook and the referee warns her. Billie with punches and Kayla with an elbow. Kayla with boots to the head and a forearm to the back. Billie with a suplex and she blocks a kick and connects with a knee and kicks to the chest.
Kayla gets Billie on her shoulders and hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Kayla with a kick and Billie with a German suplex and a second one. Billie with a third German suplex for a near fall. Billie goes to the turnbuckles and Kayla with a punch to stop her. Billie gets Kayla on her shoulders and hits a Boat Driver for the three count.
Winner: Billie Starkz
After the match, Taya Valkyrie is on the stage with Sam Leterna. She asks Taya about her husband’s match against Davey Richards and how she feels about him being there. Taya says she is so excited. She calls him the hottest free agent in wrestling. They will be husband and wife champions. Taya tells everyone not to be jealous they don’t wake up next to him.
Billie Starkz interrupts and she says she has been watching Taya and her journey.
Taya says she knows that Billie is a fan, but she tells Billie to keep studying those tapes and she tells Billie to leave.
We take a look at Davey Richards.
He says it was never about fame, money, or recognition. It was about purpose.
We go to commercial.
We take a look back at the brawl that started off the show.
Alex Kane is in the back and he says they don’t fight for free. It is all about prize fights and big money. If you want the Opera Cup back, we can have a community service tag match. If your little cousins can beat Mr. Thomas and Myron Reed, then you get your match against me. You will bend to his will. Alex says BOMAYE a lot of times.
Next week, Lance Anoa’i faces Alex Hammerstone for the MLW Championship. Jacob Fatu faces Lio Rush.
We go to the back and EJ Nduka looks for Jacob Fatu with a chair.
Juicy Finau splashes Nduka against the wall and then they exchange punches.
Match Number Three: John Hennigan (with Cesar Duran and Taya Valkyrie) versus Davey Richards for the MLW National Openweight Championship)
John misses a charge into the corner and Davey with kicks and a head butt. Davey with more kicks and head butts. Davey with a knee to the midsection. Davey with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. John goes to the apron and he tries for a kick but Davey blocks it and applies an ankle lock to John on the apron. John Irish whip s Davey into the guardrail but Davey with a kick. Davey with a kick to the chest against the guardrails and he breaks the count. Davey with more kicks and then John gets a pizza box and hits Davey with it.
John with a forearm and Davey fires back. Davey goes for a Gotch pile driver but John blocks it. John goes to the floor and he hides behind Taya to keep Davey from kicking him. John with a leg sweep and a kick to the head from the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back with footage from the break, including a superplex. John with an Irish whip but he misses a splash. Davey with a dragon screw leg whip in the ropes. Davey goes up top and howls before missing a double stomp but he rolls through and applies a trailer hitch. John gets to the ropes with some help from Duran. Davey releases the hold.
Davey sets for a suplex but John blocks it so Davey kicks him in the hamstring. John with a knee to stop a suplex. John with a kick and Davey with a back kick. John with a springboard round kick for a near fall. John kicks Davey in the head. John with more kicks to Davey on the apron. Davey blocks a pile driver attempt and Davey with head butts. Davey with a forearm to the back and then he pulls up the mats to expose the floor. Davey sets for a suplex to the floor but John blocks it. John sends Davey back into the ring and Davey with Kawada kicks. Davey with a running boot to the head but John stays on the apron. Davey with another running boot and John hangs on to the ropes. A third kicks leads to the same result.
Davey tries to suplex John back into the ring but Taya trips Davey and John gets a near fall. John with a running knee to the head. John sets for Starship Pain but misses when Davey moves. Davey with a running kick and he goes up top and howls before hitting a double stomp for a near fall. Davey with a brainbuster for a near fall. Davey with an ankle lock and John rolls through to kick Davey. Davey with a Cloverleaf and Duran gets on the apron. Taya hits Davey with the title belt and the referee does not see it. John gets the three count.
Winner: John Hennigan (new champion)
