ROH Spoilers 2/26/23 Orlando, Florida:
Prior to the taping they filmed a match for AEW Dark:
Match 1) AEW All Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy and Danhausen defeated The Workhorsemen (Anthony Henry and JD Drake) when Danhausen pinned Henry after a double chokeslam with Orange.
ROH Taping:
Match 1) ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli defeated Willie Mack in a Proving Ground Match via running European uppercut in about 7 minutes.
Match 2) Dante Martin with Darius Martin defeated Mike Bennett with Matt Taven and Maria Kannellis.
Taven attacked Dante after the match until Darius made the save.
Match 3) Gran Metallik and Blake Christian defeated Slim J and Ari Daivari with Mark Sterling when Metallik pinned Slim J.
Match 4) Eddie Kingston defeated Jeeves Kay. There was a moment where Claudio was in the front row and Kingston threw what appeared to be Claudio’s coffee on him.
Match 5) ROH Women’s Champion Athena defeated Hyan in a Proving Ground Match via submission.
After the match Athena attacked Hyan after the match.
Match 6) Silas Young defeated Marcus Kross
Silas cut a promo after the match. Shane Taylor came out and challenged Silas for a match next week.
Match 7) The Embassy (Brian Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona) with Prince Nana defeated Dalton Castle and The Boys to retain the ROH Six Man Titles when Kaun pins both of The Boys after a double team move.
The Embassy attacked after the match. AR Fox, Blake Christian, and Gran Metallik made the save. Fox had picked up and held one of the Six Man Titles after The Embassy had bailed.
Match 8) Skye Blue defeated Lady Frost. Frost worked more like a heel but did still shake Skye’s hand after the match.
Match 9) Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal defeated The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum)
Aussie Open came out after the match. Kyle acknowledged that Daniels and Sydal were ROH tag team champions in 2006…when Kyle was 7 years old. They challenge Daniels and Sydal to a match at some point. They leave. Daniels takes a microphone after and accepts their challenge.
Match 10) Wheeler Yuta retained the ROH Pure Championship over Clark Connors via The Seatbelt in about ten minutes. The judges for the match were Colt Cabana, BJ Whitmer, and Dean Malenko.
Wheeler Yuta cut a promo after the match talking about beating Thatcher and now Clark. He challenges Katsuyori Shibata to a match. He didn’t say when. Claudio came out and celebrated with Yuta.
They claimed this was the end of the first episode.
Match 11) ROH World Tag Team Champion Mark Briscoe defeated Tony Nese with Josh Woods and Mark Sterling.
Match 12) Gran Metallik, AR Fox, and Blake Christian defeated The Trustbusters (Ari Daivari, Slim J, and Jeeves K) with Mark Sterling when Fox pinned Ari.
Afterward, The Embassy and Prince Nana came to the ring and attacked Fox, Blake, and Metallik.
Match 13) Trish Adora defeated Madison Rayne with a lariat.
Match 14) Rush and Dralistico with Jose The Assistant defeated Rhett Titus and Tracy Williams when Rush pinned Rhett.
Match 15) Matt Taven with Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis defeated Darius Martin. Dante was not at ringside with Darius.
After the match Dante made the save for Darius when Bennett was going to attack him.
Match 16) Brian Cage with Prince Nana and The Gates of Agony defeated Tony Deppen via the Drill-Claw.
After the match, Brian Cage and The Embassy attacked Tony. AR Fox, Blake Christian, and Gran Metallik ran down (Fox and Christian carrying steel pipes) and The Embassy bailed to the stage.
Match 17) Shane Taylor with JD Griffey defeated Silas Young via Package Piledriver.
At this point Tony Khan came out and said there are a few matches left.
Match 18) Billie Starkz defeated Miranda Alize via Tombstone Piledriver
Match 19) Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) defeated Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal via pinfall on Daniels in about 15 minutes. Got a couple “this is awesome” chants.
Match 20) Samoa Joe retained the ROH TV Championship over Cheeseburger quickly via Muscle Buster.
Samoa Joe attacked Cheeseburger after the match. Samoa Joe was shouting at the camera asking if Mark had until Mark Briscoe made the save.
Afterwards Mark Briscoe thanked the fans for coming out and took pictures. Tony Khan came out to the stage with him. He said this might be the first of more to come for ROH here.
