The NYWC will hold their biggest show of the year, the 2023 Psycho Circus on 2/25. The show will not be at the NYWC Sportatorium as due to demand, it has been moved to Islip, Long Island at the Central Islip Fire Department. Announced thus far for the event is The show will be headlined by Matt Tremont's H20 promotion taking on Team NYWC in the Psycho Circus match plus Mike Mondo returning to the ring vs. Dickie Rodz, Tony Nese vs. Alvin Alvarez vs. Apollyon, NYWC Champion Michael Mistretta vs. The Big O, NYWC Fusion Champion Joey Conway vs. Dan Barry with Barry putting his career up if he doesn't win the title, Alex Coughlin vs. Cristian Nunez in a Rounds Match, Izzy McKenna vs. Fifthcarus, JRedd vs. Jorge LaBestia with the stipulation that the loser must become the winner's servant, a Joker's Wild Battle Royal. KUSHIDA and Fred Rosser are debuting for House of Glory at their 3/10 event in Jamaica, Queens.
CZW founder John Zandig is returning to professional wrestling as part of a new group called Ultraviolent Underground, headlining their first event on 3/25 against Shlak. The promotion will be running four times this year at secret locations that will be announced shortly before the events due those who subscribe to a membership for tickets. The group ran an angle several weeks back where Zandig, taking part in a lunch with fans at a diner, was confronted by Shlak to set up the event. Zandig last wrestled back in 2017.
Battleground Championship Wrestling, which has been selling out the 2300 Arena regularly of late, will crown their first champion on Saturday 3/18 with a tournament. The first round will feature Brian Kendrick vs. Rich Swann, Harry Smith vs. Matt Cardona, Tony Nese vs. John Morrison (billed as Johnny Battleground) and Bully Ray vs. a mystery opponent.
