AEW PERSONALITIES AT SUPER BOWL WEEKEND, RETURN TO BALTIMORE ANNOUNCED & MORE

By Mike Johnson & Paul Jordan on 2023-02-13 09:20:00

AEW's Britt Baker and Justin Roberts were in Phoenix at the Super Bowl over the weekend.  Former WWE stars Kalisto and Mojo Rawley were also in town.

AEW will return to Baltimore at the newly renovated CFG Bank Arena, aka the former Baltimore Arena that hosted the WCW Great American Bash PPVs for years dating back to 1988 as well as many WWE PPVs, on 5/3.  Tickets will go on sale 2/24 with a pre-sale online the day before.  The 13,000 venue will reopen this month after having shut down for $200 million in renovations last year.  AEW will be the first professional wrestling event back in the facility, which first opened in 1962.

CBS' The Equalizer returns this Sunday 2/19 with AEW VP Pat Buck in a small role in the episode titled He Ain't Heavy, playing a character who has information on one of the lead character's missing brother.  Buck, WrestlePro's Kevin Matthews and Mike Verna have appeared on the series in the past in small roles or doing stunts.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida debut in Sunrise, Florida at the FLA Live Arena will also go on sale 2/24 with a pre-sale the day before.

Lance Hoyt tweeted about not having performed in close to two months:

The Nightmare Factory, which features QT Marshall as one of their head trainers, will be launching a new 12 week camp on 4/10.  If you are interested in attending, visit nightmarefactoryga.com.
