How many matches did CM Punk end up officially having in AEW? Do you think he's done?
By my count, 25. He's not done until the day his AEW contract ends. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand how quickly pro wrestling can change on a dime. It takes one phone call to un-nuke the bridge.
It seems as if though Roman Reigns never loses in championship matches which got me to thinking: does Reigns (along with Paul Heyman) decide which wrestlers to beat and which wrestlers to lose and does Reigns have some what of say in his matches even though Triple H is currently the Head of Creative?
There's certainly respect given to Reigns and he and Paul Heyman have input into what they do, but at the end of the day, Paul Levesque makes the final decisions.
Did that press conference for the Rumble have legitimate media asking the questions?
Those were invited media with the exception of Matt Camp, who works for the company. I was slated to attend before a family issue led to me canceling my trip to Texas for the Rumble.
Do you think Charlotte did some politicking to be the 1st woman to Main Event Wrestlemania twice? If Rhea picks Bianca that would be the Main Event Day one and Bianca would be 1st woman to Main Event twice.
No, I think they are simply putting together main event matches they believe will work best for Los Angeles this year at Wrestlemania, nothing more. Bianca is just as deserving to main event and I am sure she will again.
Is it true NXT is going to start booking talents on independents?
No. They announced one talent is going to work for Booker T, which is no different than talents being sent to EVOLVE years ago. If you think WWE is going to start letting their NXT talents they are investing in start traveling the country working indy dates where they could be in the ring with anyone, in any condition ring, with Lord knows what level security, protocols, etc. and take the chance talents get hurt and screw up weekly TV storylines or long-term investments, it's not happening. Booker T announced one appearance from Ivy Nile and some began assuming and throwing out random theories as if they were fact only to see Shawn Michaels state that there was nothing else going on.
