Narita forces Yujiro to tap to a Cobra Twist.

After the match, Narita shakes hands with Suzuki and Desperado.   Suzuki takes the mic and challenges House of Torture for the NEVER Openweight 6-man Titles.

4 - El Phantasmo, Jay White and Gedo vs. Tama Tonga, Hikuleo and Jado

Jay White came to the ring wearing a Jay Briscoe T-Shirt.   Awesome!  Jay White, out of character, tells Kevin Kelly and the audience to buy the shirt, with all proceeds going to the Pugh Family.

Gedo taps out to Jado’s cross face.

After the match, Hikuleo chases White.  Phantasmo hits Tama in the face with the NEVER Openweight belt.  Hikuleo runs to help his brother.  Bullet Club escapes.

6 - IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Match:   Mikey Nichols and Shane Haste vs. Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI

TMDK was about to hit a Tank Buster on Goto.  YOSHI-HASHI breaks it up.   Goto picks up Nichols for a double team move.   There was slight miscommunication between Bishomon which gave Nichols the chance to reverse and Nichols picked up Goto and they hit a Tank Buster.  Goto barely kicks out at two.  Haste fights YOSHI-HASHI to the floor.   Nichols hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Goto.  Two count.   YOSHI-HASHI saves Goto from Thunder Valley.    Nichols gets caught in the ring and Bishomon hit an elevated GTR.    They connect with a Shoto.

Goto pins Nichols

Bishomon retain the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.

7 - IWGP World Television Championship Match:   Tomohiro Ishii vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

Good chain wrestling to start the match.  It quickly became a chop and strike fest.   Ishii planted ZSJ with a back suplex.   ZSJ went after the arm with submissions.   Ishii fought back with his own arm attacks.  They get to their feet and trade kicks.  Ishii was bleeding from the mouth.  Ishii hit a power bomb.  ZSJ kicks out and traps Ishii in an arm submission.  Ishii gets the rope break.   Ishii hits a Sunset Bomb.  Two count.  ZSJ with a Euro Clutch. Two count.    They trade German Suplexes.  Ishii hits a lariat.  Two count.  Ishii with a headbutt.  ZSJ with a Dragon Suplex.  Two count.  Under a minute left, they trade strikes.   ZSJ hits a Zack Driver.

ZSJ pins Ishii

Zack Sabre Jr. retains the IWGP World Television Championship.

Good match.  This title, due to 15 minute time limit, could provide the type of matches that the WWF Intercontinental Title was to the WWF World Title.  Also with technical skills of Zack Sabre Jr., whoever beats him for the title should be on his level and will have a great match.

8 - IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match:  YOH vs. Hiromu Takahashi

Another fast paced match.  Hiromu was playing the heel.  He took the match to the floor and bounced YOH off the rails.   YOH fought back and used his aerial moves to get the advantage.   YOH was able to counter many of Hiromu’s moves.   YOH drop kicked Hiromu’s knee and went to work on leg with submissions.   YOH kept his assault on the leg but Hiromu was able to get to the ropes.

They trade suplexes and lariats.  Pace picks up.  Hiromu with a Hiromu Roll.  Two count.  Hiromu with a Victory Royal.  YOH with a Poisonrana and a super kick.  Two count.  YOH with a Dragon Suplex.  Two Count.   Hiromu hits a Time Bomb.  Two count.   Both men are wiped out.  YOH blocks a Time Bomb II.  YOH with a 5 Star Clutch.  Two count.   YOH with a super kick and a headbutt.  Hiromu with a super kick and a lariat.  Hiromu with another lariat and hits Time Bomb II.

Hiromu pins YOH.

Hiromu Takahashi retains the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship.

Good match.   I think with this match YOH proves he is in the top group of Juniors in New Japan.

Hiromu gets the mic and puts over YOH.

El Desperado who is on Japanese commentary, stares down Hiromu as he leaves the ring.
