It is Friday and it’s time for AEW Rampage, recorded after AEW Dynamite, which came from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Jim Ross, Chris Jericho, and Tony Schiavone.
Wheeler Yuta vs Adam Page
Yuta starts with a drop kick and a stomp down in the corner. They move to running the ropes and Yuta is able to get on an Octopus Stretch. Page is able to power out and Yuta gets a rollup for two. Yuta locks up Page’s legs on the mat and they have a slap fight. Yuta then bends back to get more pressure on the legs until Page gets to the ropes.
Yuta then gets in chops in the corner and follows with elbow strikes and whips Page to the corner. Page comes out and drops Yuta to get to distance. Page is then able to get some chops. Page comes off the ropes with a sliding clothesline for a two count. Page pulls Yuta up and gets in more strikes. He whips Yuta to the ropes and Yuta hangs on to stop himself, and when Page charges him, he dodges and Page goes to the apron.
Yuta snaps Page’s head off the top rope and then comes off the ropes to run into Page’s arms and Page hits a fall away overhead slam. Page kips up and hits a lariat on Yuta on the apron. He follows Yuta to the floor and keeps up the attack. He tosses Yuta into the ring and Yuta comes off the ropes to leap into Page.
Yuta gets a series of strikes on Page on the floor and when he tosses him into the ring, Page rolls out the other side and catches Yuta when he leaps into him. Page rolls Yuta into the ring for a pop-up Liger bomb as we go picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Yuta fights out of a waistlock. Yuta gets a shotgun drop kick off the second rope, but can’t follow up. Yuta follows up with an atomic drop and an insigiri. He then goes to the second rope and hits a leaping blow. Yuta gets a bulldog for a two count. Yuta goes to the top and Page meets him there and gets a series of headbutts. Page hits an avalanche Death Valley Driver for two.
Page then hits a German suplex and Yuta waves him back to fight. Page hits a second German suplex. Yuta calls him back again. Yuta blocks the suplex and reverses it for a German suplex, then gets a second and third. He goes for a fourth, and Page goes to the ropes to block it and hits a series of elbows to break free. They fight in the ropes and on the apron. Yuta finally shoves Page into the ring post and then hits a German suplex on the apron and holds on for another on the floor.
Yuta recovers first and goes to the top for a leaping crossbody on the floor. Yuta tosses Page into the ring and tries for a splash off the top, but Page gets his knees-up. Page goes for the buckshot lariat, and Yuta blocks it and turns it into a suplex. Yuta goes to the top for the splash off the top for two. Yuta hits the hammer and anvil elbows, but Page blocks them.
Page hits a discus punch and Yuta fires in a series of chops and bites Page. Page tosses Yuta out of the ring, but Yuta hangs onto the ropes and slingshots back in. Page is able to get the buckshot lariat. He then picks Yuta up and hits the Death Rider for the pin and the win.

We get Eddie in the back saying that the House of Black is right and the real Eddie Kingston has to come out now and he is ready to go home.
Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh w/Sonjay Dutt vs Danhausen, Chuck Taylor, and Trent Beretta w/Orange Cassidy
Danhausen has a ukulele and he and Jarrett take turns showing them to the crowd until Danhausen’s ukulele is taken and then destroyed by Satnam.
Lethal attacks Taylor before the bell and Taylor is able to get a pair of arm drags before tagging in Trent. They give a double elbow drop and cover Lethal for two. Lethal is able to tag in Jarrett, who trades blows with Trent. They run the ropes and Trent is able to drop Jarrett and stomps on him. The Best Friends and Danhausen get a series of quick tags.
Lethal comes in to break it up and he takes the Soul Food. It all breaks down with everyone brawling, and we are left with Satnam in the ring with Trent. Satnam tosses Trent to the corner, where he goes up and over. This leads to picture in picture.
When we come back to full screen, Trent and Jarrett are trading blows in the middle of the ring. Trent is able to get a back body drop and both men are down and needing to get the tag. Lethal tags in first and drops Danhausen with a strike. He goes for the rollup and Trent reverses it for two. Trent is given a back body drop, but lands on his feet and tags in Chuck, who cleans house.
Chuck is able to lock on a submission, broken up by Jarrett. Jarrett tags in and they whip Chuck to the corner. Lethal charges in and Chuck dodges it, and he then knocks Jarrett into Lethal in the corner. Lethal is clotheslined out and Chuck leaps onto him. Chuck then comes back in the ring and locks on the figure four on Jarrett. Lethal tries to leap onto him from the top, but Chuck sits up so that Lethal misses. Jarrett is able to tag in Satnam.
Satnam picks Chuck up and tosses him into his corner and Danhausen tags in. They go face to…midsection. Danhausen hits a series of blows that Satnam ignores. Satnam tosses him into the corner, and when Satnam follows up, Danhausen dodges. Orange Cassidy gets in a blow on Satnam and then takes out Sonjay on the floor. Danhausen grabs Jarrett’s guitar and the ref pulls it out of his hands.
As the ref is getting rid of the guitar, Jarrett comes in and hits Danhausen with a shard of the ukulele. Satnam stands on Danhausen for the pin and the win.

Powerhouse Hobbs vs The Already In The Ring Tony Mudd
Attitude adjustment for the pin and the win.

Renee Paquette is with Dustin Rhodes, and he thanks the fans for the prayers. Swerve Strickland comes in and says he will have to take out another old man. When Swerve brings up Dusty, they go face to face and the referees break them up.
Mark Henry introduces the main event.
Jamie Hayter (AEW Women’s Champion) vs Emi Sakura in an Eliminator match
Jamie tries for a lock up, but Emi dodges it and walks past. Emi does it a second time before they do lock up, and Jamie breaks to punch Emi and then she drops Emi, who pops right back up and they trade chops. They go to the floor when Emi whips Jamie back and forth between the barricade and then the apron a few times. Emi then keeps Jamie on the defensive with chops. They roll into the ring and Emi keeps up the attacks in the corner.
Jamie gets in a few blows before Emi drops Jamie and then locks in a surfboard stretch. She then tosses Jamie as we go picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Emi is beating down Jamie in the corner. Jamie gets a couple of chops in, but Emi hits Jamie so hard, she drops. Jamie Is able to get up and hits Emi with three exploder suplexes. She then charges Emi in the corner and beats her down until the ref pulls her off. Jamie is then able to get a back breaker and covers for two.
Jamie sets for the Haterade, but Emi instead turns it into a short arm clothesline and follows with a chop down . Emi then lifts her up with a butterfly under hook and holds her for about 20 seconds before dropping Jamie into a back breaker for a two count. Jamie misses a sliding lariat and Emi turns it into a crucifix pin for two.
Jamie is able to get Emi up for a quick suplex and then runs the ropes for a sliding lariat for two. Jamie tosses Emi to the corner and then puts her on the top. Jamie gets a cutter off the top and then goes to the top and misses a moonsault. Emi rolls Jamie up for two. Emi gets a tiger driver for two. Emi goes to the top and hits a moonsault for two. Emi hits Jamie with a series of slaps. Jamie is able to hit a hard clothesline and then picks up Emi. She tries again for the haterade and Emi turns it into a suplex. Jamie is able to get the lariat followed by the Haterade for the pin and the win.
