Welcome to the Impact Wrestling on AXS TV report! I apologize for the lateness but some real life stuff took precedence this week.
They opened with highlights of everything that went down leading to tonight!
Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion Trey Miguel vs. Mike Jackson.
I'm a big fan of Mike Jackson's tenacity and work and happy to see him getting some additional exposure.
They started out with Miguel controlling Jackson's arm but being shoulderblocked down and nearly pinned several times. Miguel, annoyed, drilled Jackson, who responded just as hard. The crowd chanted for Jackson but Miguel nailed him with a cheap shot and scored a series of right hands. Jackson was held to the mat but escaped a Lionsault. They went to the floor with Jackson in control, working over the arm. They returned to the ring. Jackson walked the ropes with Old School but was yanked off and drilled with a series of kicks and a nasty dropkick to the head. He nailed the Lightning Spiral and scored the pin.
Your winner, Trey Miguel!
He went under the ring for spray paint to disrespect Jackson but Decay's Crazzy Steve was under the ring. Miguel went up the aisle but Black Taurus came out from behind so Miguel exited through the crowd.
Backstage, Josh Alexander was interviewed by Gia Miller. Steve Maclin showed up and said that since Scott D'Amore is no longer around to protect him, Maclin is targeting him and the title.
They showed Chris Sabin and Rich Swann getting warmed up for the main event.

Knight tagged in and nailed several Avalanches in the corner and a bodyslam on John Skyler. Knight nailed a big dropkick. KUSHIDA followed up with a shotgun dropkick. KUSHIDA used the Hoverboard Lock on Jason Hotch, scoring the submission.

Backstage, Gisele Shaw and Jai Vidal approach Director of Authority Santino Marella, asking who her partner would be. Santino pointed to someone off camera and Shaw was pleased.
Mickie James thanked Jordynne Grace and thanked her for the help last week. Grace said she wasn't trying to help, she was just making sure James was OK when they have a rematch and she can take the belt back.
Impact Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Death Dollz vs. Gisele Shaw & Tara with Jai Vidal
They played up Tara as a huge legend and surprise. Even Taya and Jessicka were excited. Taya showed her respect. Gisele started with the crowd chanting they wanted Tara. Jessicka missed a back senton splash, allowing Gisele to pounce on her with right hands. Gisele blew off Tara when she wanted a tag. Jai tripped Taya so Rosemary took him out on the floor. Gisele scored several near falls and even used the Widow's Peak, with the idea she was disrespecting Tara. Tara confronted her in the ring and they had words. Gisele demanded she return to the corner and Tara finally had enough and nailed her own partner with Widow's Peak and walked out. Jessicka nailed the Sick Driver and scored the pin.
Your winners and still Knockouts Tag Team Champions, The Death Dollz!

Backstage, Tasha Steelz bailed on Savannah Evans and Gia Miller when Miller was interviewing them. She said nothing is working right anymore and teased she was done.
Ace Austin & Chris Bey vs. The Major Players
Some really good back and forth action early on. The Players worked over Austin for a long time, tagging in and out. Austin blocked them and Cardona was sent into a kicking Myers. Austin wanted to tag out but Myers cut him off and cinched in a front chancery. Myers nailed a series of knees to the mid-section but Austin fired back with an enziguiri.
Bey made the hot tag and cleaned house on Cardona, nailing a flying cclothesline. Myers got involved so he was chased around ringside, allowing Cardona to attack him. Bey was nailed with the Reboot by Cardona. Myers nailed a flying elbow off the top but Bey kicked out at the last minute. Bey nailed a Poisonrana on Myers. Bullet Club worked over Cardona and scored the pin.
Your winners, Ace Austin & Chris Bey!
Joe Hendry came out and said he accepts Cardona's challenge for the Digital Media title. he said Cardona feels left out because fans are talking about Dancing Moose, not Cardona. He said he doesn't want him to feel left out and premiered a song about Myers along with a music video where Hendry wore masks to look like Myers, Cardona and Chelsea Green, saying Cardona will always be "Edge's Bitch." The fans chanted that at Cardona.
They showed Moose and Eddie Edwards preparing for the main event. Cardona and Myers came up to Moose and told him he was right, there's a Joe Hendry problem and they are going to take care of it.
Jonathan Gresham vs. Sheldon Jean
Jean was making his debut and showed some arrogance and aggression. He was quickly tied up on the mat and grabbed the ropes to break the submission. He tried to nail several kicks but Gresham dropkicked him in the knee, taking him down. Gresham took out his leg and scored the pin.
Your winner, Jonathan Gresham!

Everyone battled right out of the gate, scrapping all over the place. There was a LOT going on here, so highlights:

Sabin and Moose battled back and forth with Sabin scoring a near fall after a tornado DDT and then doing the same on Edwards.

He went for a sit-out powerbomb but Sabin slippped out and almost scored a two count with a backslide. Edwards escaped and it the powerbomb on Sabin. PCO's music played and he tried to invade the ring but was pulled away by security. The distraction allowed Sabin to take out Edwards and score the pin.
Moose battled Sabin, who kept escaping being pinned before eating a big spear. Sabin was pinned and eliminated. Swann, Callihan and Moose all battled in the ring. Swann nailed a series of strikes and a cutter on Callihan but Moose snatched him leg and smashed it down to the mat. Moose attacked the knee and cinched in a submission but Swann fought to and made it to the ropes. Swann kept getting worked over but shocked everyone by rolling up Moose and scoring the pin, eliminating him.
Then, there were two. The Design came out and told Callihan to take out Swann and this was his final test. Callihan seemed to have second thoughts but finally went after Swann, using the stretch muffler for a submission attempt. Swann escaped and scored several pinfall attempts. Callihan powerbombed Swann and locked in an anklelock but Swann escaped and dazed him with a series of kicks. Swann nailed a 450 splash and scored the pinfall.
