THIRD LAWSUIT FILED OVER VINCE MCMAHON'S RETURN TO WWE POWER

By Mike Johnson on 2023-01-25 15:32:00

Bloomberg.com is reporting a third lawsuit has been filed against Vince McMahon and WWE in relation to his return to power as Executive Chairman of the WWE Board of Directors before the Chancery Court of Delaware.

Bloomberg is reporting WWE shareholders Carole Casale and Chrystal Lavalle are "suing over McMahon’s alleged history of paying to cover up sexual harassment accusations" and want their lawsuit kept separate from the two previously known filed suits against McMahon and WWE, which may be consolidated.

As previously noted, The Police and Fire Retirement System of Detroit, Michigan and shareholder Scott Fellows had previously filed lawsuits over the changes to the company's by-laws when McMahon returned, moves that were reversed by McMahon earlier this month.    According to Bloomberg, as of this past Monday, those plaintiffs are now seeking a court-ordered reward for the company's reversal of the by-laws.
