Streaming on IWTV.live
Erron Wade is out here with Carson Dilbeck and Jaden Newman & Noah Hossman just run them over but like…they are still a unit? This is a weird team. Poor Baby Dragon.
Match 1: Jaden Newman & Noah Hossman vs The Re-Up (Ashton Starr & Rico Gonzalez)
We have a pair of Vet/Rising Star teams here. The crowd reminds Newman that he is Number Two. Rico is more than happy to start with the face of the TWE dojo. Newman already thrown off his game by Rico’s energy. Hossman goes at it with Starr but he ends up flattened with a neckbreaker. Backbreaker for two! I love seeing Noah eat these power moves. Rico whipped through the ropes and he takes a terrible tumble, Hitting the rope, apron and floor. He’s not done but Noah takes the chance to start tossing the smaller man around. Big legdrop and a muscle pose from Hossman. Noah tries a cartwheel splash into the corner and hits Jaden! Tag to Ashton and he comes right at Newman. High angle xfactor! Northern lights for two. Rico with a blind tag as Newman wipes out Ashton but he’s not legal. Rico with the double stomp but Noah saves it. Big flying elbow side slam combo from Newman and Hossman ends the night for Rico, and Ashton can’t make the save.
Winners: Jaden Newman & Noah Hossman
Match 2: O’Shay Edwards vs Brogan Finlay
Brogan’s a bad boy now but he’s out here with a Billie Starkz shirt on? HUUUUUUGE Welcome Back for The Big Bad Kaiju. I’m just taking in how big the crowd is here tonight. We are clearly pushing the numbers we saw just about a year ago at Southeast First. Brogan has that wrestling pedigree but Edwards just tosses him out of holds. Brogan is caught…big delay vertical suplex…Edwards is doing squats through this. Finlay manages to dodge and Edwards messes up his arm. Brogan targets the limb and takes the big man to the floor. Edwards clears his head as soon as Brogan chops him. Uh oh. Edwards has him against the post…Finlay dodges! The hand clangs off the metal. Brogan is swarming. Brogan runs in…biiig body attack from Kaiju. But it’s still not enough, Brogan still coming…Edwards dodges a double stomp! He hits a four corner stampede! This should be it but Finlay kicks out. Edwards tries a powerbomb but the arm gives out. Brogan throwing hands but O’Shay loves it and smashes the kid with a spine buster. Brogan rakes the eyes, oh nooooo. He drops Edwards with a boot. Elbow drop! Edwards kicks out but Brogan quickly applies a fujiwara armbar to that worn out arm and O’Shay has to tap! What an upset!
Winner: Brogan Finlay
The Good Hand is here to stare down O’Shay. Suge D, Kevin Ryan and Alex Kane invite the fallen Kaiju to leave their ring. It’s an interesting vibe for a moment…But Suge has the mic and it’s time for some wisdom. Suge says an old debt needs to be settled. Damyan Tangra has been a thorn in their side so it’s time to pluck it out and burn it. They call Tangra out to get this work.
Match 3: Alex Kane (w/ Suge D & Kevin Ryan) vs Damyan Tangra
Kane shoots right in before the bell and unloading on his former Suplex Science partner. He goes for a big plex but Tangra slips it and hits a big boot. Tangra isn’t out of his entrance gear but this is just hot fire right out the gate. Kane trying to toss him but Tangra knows Kane well, and landing good reversals and drops Alex repeatedly. Kane finally hits an exploder and the tide has turned. He wants to make Damyan suffer. Fisherman’s suplex! Tangra kicks out. Mark of Kane? Tangra out with a head kick…Kane hits a flatliner! He comes running…into a knee! Tangra hits the DVD! Kane kicks out! He tosses Tangra and dives right after. Kane dove?!? Tangra posts Alex and the good hand tries to wake their man up. Tangra and Kane stil on the outside. We’re at nine…Kane holds the leg and forces the double countdown! The fight isn’t done though and the rest of the Good Hand can lend their help. This gets split up as both guys are being held back. The good hand goes back out the front door from whence they came.
Winners: No One (Double Countout)
Match 4: Billie Starkz vs Bobby Flaco
Is this gonna be a Billie or Bully Starkz night? Flaco is out on his tiny bike. Bob’s here…and filling the packed venue with the smell of gasoline. lol. Good lockup, Bob’s got the early combos but Starkz with the dodge and starting to land some big shots on Flaco. Big suplex. Hard chops. Even commentary is noting this level of extra aggression she’s showing tonight. Flaco finally with a counter but falls into a bow and arrow. Bobby out, shogun across the ring! High cross body for two! Billie catches him
With a gory bomb! She tries the swanton but hits knees! Release blue Thunder! Slingshot cutter! Billie kicks out! Bobby off the top to the floor but Starkz out of the way. Did he just wipe out his knees? Fighting to the apron, they both seem like they wanna kill each other. Bobby with a tornado ddt onto the apron. Billie looks dead. Ref is distracted and Brogan Finlay runs out and crotches Flaco on the top rope. Billie is back up and hits a Rubix Cube to get the win. Did she know what happened? I have my thoughts…
Winner: Billie Starkz
Match 5: Suge D (w/ Alex Kane & Kevin Ryan) vs AC Mack
The night isn’t done for the Good Hand as they now have a date with the Mack of all trades. Mack has to go through his accolades in this promotion first, especially in 2022. And he knows Suge is jealous. The crowd is VERY pro-Mack crowd but Suge has words for them. He recalls a time that Jay Briscoe (RIP) gave him a pep talk that came down to “only god can stop you in the ring”. And Mack is JUST A MAN. The crowd respects this and Mack is right up in his face at the bell. Good graps in the opening scramble, Suge with a guillotine takedown for a two count. Suge trying to get the pin over and over, picking the leg of AC at will. Suge running his mouth and AC just slaps the taste out of it. Suge is still coming though, hard punches, elbows and palm strikes. Mack hits a double knee and dropkick to the back of the head. Suge needs a huddle with the boys. He’s got a ring hook?!? Mack fights that right off but that hook is left in the corner like Chekov’s…hook. Mack wants to go round the world but Suge pulls him back into a snap suplex on the concrete. Suge with some straight clowning as he uses Mack as a footrest while the Good Hand fans their leader. Mack with a back body drop on the apron, Suge lands baaaaad. Flying knee off the apron! Suge is stumbling around as Mack dropping him over and over. Suge dodges a meteora, hard lariat. Pop up knee! Mack thrown but only for two. Suge goes for that hook again but Mack hits a double knee. He goes for Mack 10, Suge back body drops out of it, winds up and blasts Mack with the hook. Call for the bell and the Good Hand swarms on Mack. No one is saving him…cue Matt Sells with a chair! He dives right through the ropes at the Good Hand and chases them out of the building.
Winner: AC Mack (by DQ)
In the chaos, DEREK NEAL slides in and hits a northern lariat to Mack. Big fisherman’s driver lays out Mack again. The King’s Road Slayer on the mic, why is he here? He’s so glad to meet the face of Southeast First in person. Mack thinks he’s the best in the South. Neal has held the biggest belt in the south. And apparently politics kept him from this building…but no longer. We haven’t seen the last of him. We go to intermission while they try to calm the situation down and get Neal out of them.
(Intermission, I’m sure people are eating pizza but on IWTV, we get a recap of Anthony Henry’s ACTION championship win over Adam Priest, which led to tonight’s main event)
Match 6: Culture Inc (Eli Knight & Malik Bosede w/ Nick J Holliday) vs The Skulk (Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray)
Culture Inc is here to show the Skulk why they should focus on their opponents and not on fighting literal babies. Liam and Gray start the double teams. Apron superkick down to Holliday. Gray with a northern lights for two on Bosede. Great combo. Legdrop splash to Malik for two. The early moments were all culture but this stretch is long beatdown. Eli finally makes the tag! Low dropkick to Alanis. Neckbreaker to Liam! Knight unloading, big enziguri, the Skulk hits the floor! Double dives! Malik isolated again but Eli makes the save. Culture taking a beatdown on the apron. Double slams but it’s down to Malik and Alanis. Brawling in the center! Malik with a good superkick! Tag to Eli! Double stomp dvd combo! Liam gray rolls Nick Holliday to distract the ref. Backstabber. Backbreaker, Cutter combo. They want to finish Eli but he poinsonranas Alanis! The skulk is down! Double dive and Culture Inc picks up the hard fought win. The crowd was hot as hell for this. This was awesome.
Winners: Culture Inc
Nick Holliday gives tribute to the Briscoes but quickly gets back to business and calls out Violence is Forever. ViF should be thanking them for taking out Dustin Waller so they had an easier fight at Wrestival. Maybe they shouldn’t be calling out FTR? Culture Inc wants them to worry about who is right in front them. And in March, they go to war.
Main Event: Anthony Henry(c) vs Adam Priest (No-Ropes No-DQ Match for the ACTION Championship)
Priest very much wants Henry to have nowhere to run and no excuses tonight in this championship rematch. Can Priest become the first two-time champion in ACTION’s history? Dylan Hales says this format might be to the champion’s advantage. Henry says this is the last time they fight. Priest may be Any Style but Henry is just trying to throw him into the posts right away. Henry controlling the former champ on the mat, we have no ropes to break it up. Priest just has to throw him off. Priest sends him off the ring into the chairs. Priest dives right down at him and the brawl continues. Hard shots back and forth, priest pokes the eye, it’s all legal! Henry grabs a chair but Priest just punts him against the steps. Henry catches him and slams Adam into the apron. Priest escapes to the stage but Henry is just throwing some brutal kicks near the commentary table. Priest suplexes him on the floor! Flying elbow off the stage! Henry crashes through a plastic table! Owwww. Henry finally posts Priest. Neck twist. He just tossed Adam off the ring. He wraps a chair around his neck and posts him again. Hard chest kicks in the chairs. Flying big boot into the chairs! He wraps that chair around Priest again. Round the world? Priest tosses the chair into his leg. He throws a chair across the ring and blasts him. Hard chair shots, he wants the ddt but Henry reverses it to a piledriver into a chair. His leg is toast though. He tries a kick but can’t stay up. Adam pops up and locks on a Figure Four…..Henry rolls it over until they fall out of the ring. Henry breaks the hold finally with a hard chair. Powerbomb onto the apron! Henry is limping hard as he goes out the back door? We got a proper wooden table! Priest whips a chair into the back of his head! Brutal. Table getting set. Henry blasts him in the head with a chair. Priest is hurting too. Henry posts him again and he’s just wrecking all the chairs to get to a huge ladder. That ladder is VERY big. Easily 16ft. Priest almost lands the ddt but Henry stuffs him with a Gotch piledriver! Kickout! Jay Driller! Kick out! Priest just flips Henry off. Anthony is furious but Priest hits and Alabama slam! Priest is setting up that huge ladder. Jeeeeeeeesus. Henry dumped onto the table. Any style heads to the top…Henry is up there too.Priest kicks him off back to the table! Leg drop through the table! Priest gets the cover on the floor!!!!! He did it!
Winner: Adam Priest
We have a two-time champ for the first time in ACTION wrestling. Ridiculously wild main event clash. Henry is back in here but he doesn’t realize he lost. He rips his belt back. He gives Priest respect on the mic and says he wants to do this again on a bigger stage, as he puts the belt on the new champ’s shoulder. Priest grabs the mic, he thanks the crowd and closes us out with a ROLLLLLL TIIIIIIDE BAY BAY!
