We take a look at what happened last week with Kevin Owens and The Bloodline.
We see vehicles arriving at the building and The Bloodline emerge and Sami is in a good mood. Jimmy and Jey reciprocate but Roman, Paul, and Solo do not.
Match Number One: Sheamus and Drew McIntyre versus Erik and Ivar (with Valhalla) in a First Round Match in the Smackdown Tag Team Title Number One Contender Tournament
Erik and Ivar attack Sheamus and Drew before the bell rings. Erik with an Irish whip to Sheamus and Sheamus clotheslines himself and Erik over the top rope to the floor. Ivar sends Drew into the ring post while Sheamus punches Erik. Sheamus with forearms to Ivar and then he sends Erik into the ringside barrier. Sheamus with a knee to Ivar on the apron and then he sets for the forearms across the chest. Sheamus sends Erik to the apron and connects with many forearms. Sheamus gets Erik on his shoulders and he sets for an Air Raid Crash off the turnbuckles but Erik escapes. Ivar stops Sheamus and Erik with a forearm and Sheamus is sent to the floor.
Ivar tags in and he hits a running cross body against the ringside barrier.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Erik with a neck breaker to Sheamus for a near fall. Erik with an arm bar and chin bar. Sheamus gets to his feet and he punches Erik and connects with an uppercut. Erik with a forearm and that leads to an exchange. Erik with a kick and Ivar tags in. Ivar with a a double sledge to the back. Ivar with a crossface and Sheamus with a uranage back breaker and both men are down. Drew tags in and he connects with clotheslines. Drew escapes a slam and he connects with a shoulder tackle. Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Erik followed by neck breakers to Ivar and Erik. Drew sets for Future Shock but Ivar backs Drew into the corner. Drew with an elbow but Ivar with a knee. Drew with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.
Ivar escapes a slam and he connects with a seated splash in the corner. Erik tags in and he hits a clothesline int the corner followed by a clothesline by Ivar. Erik gets a near fall. Drew with a head butt to Erik and he stops Ivar on the turnbuckles. Drew with a chop and he punches Ivar before setting up for a superplex. Erik crotches Drew and Drew is put in the tree of woe. Sheamus gives Erik an Air Raid Crash and Drew pulls himself up for an overhead belly-to-belly superplex.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ivar with back elbows in the corner to Drew. Ivar with an Irish whip but Drew with a clothesline out of the corner. Drew with a kick and he sets for Future Shock and hits it. Drew signals for the Claymore and counts down but Drew runs into a Spin Kick of Doom and both men are down. Erik and Sheamus tag in and they exchange punches. Sheamus with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Sheamus sets for a Brogue Kick but Valhalla distracts Sheamus but Sheamus with an elbow. Erik with an exploder and Ivar tags in.
Ivar goes up top and hits a splash for a near fall. Erik tags in and then Ivar tags back in. Sheamus with punches to both men but Erik with a punch. Erik with a waist lock and Sheamus with an elbow and he connects with a knee as Ivar comes off the ropes. Drew with a Claymore to Erik and Sheamus with a Brogue Kick for the three count.
Winners: Drew McIntyre and Sheamus (advance to face winner of Hit Row vs Los Lotharios)
The other side of the bracket is Maximum Male Models versus Legado del Fantasma and The Brawling Brutes versus Imperium.
Paul Heyman is reviewing the contract and Sami wants to talk to Roman.
Roman tells Sami to sit.
Sami says he knows tonight is a big night for the Bloodline he wanted to make sure everything was cool because the greeting was frosty.
Roman says he saw what Sami did last week and he wants to know the truth.
Sami says everything is fine and Roman tells him to tell the truth.
Sami felt a bit let down because he was given the chance to take care of Kevin Owens. Sami says he didn’t know that the Usos would be coming out so he felt slighted. Sami mentions that Kevin said that he was being used . . . but it is all fine.
Roman tells Sami to get out. He says he is not going to do this every week. He says it blows his mind that he has to run his game plan past the Honorary Uce. When does he have to ask Sami for his approval. He tells Sami to find his own Bloodline or Kevin.
Paul tells Sami what the door looks like.
LA Knight walks in the back and we go to commercial.
Raquel Rodriguez says everything is bigger in Texas. In San Antonio, at her first Royal Rumble, she will make it the biggest moment of her career. She says she will be doing it in front of her family and friends to earn a spot at Wrestlemania.
LA Knight wants to talk to you before his match. He wants someone to help Bray Wyatt figure out who he is. One week, he isn’t Uncle Howdy and then he is Uncle Howdy. He says that Bray asked him who he was and Knight tells us he is LA Knight. He is the one who will make Bray wonder if he shouldn’t have come back. While you have been living check to check on past glory, your checks aren’t worth anything. I will turn off your light next week.
Match Number Two: LA Knight versus Ren Jones
They lock up and . . .
We have an image appear on the TitanTron and then the lights go down.
Jones with punches but Knight with a clothesline and BFT for the three count.
Winner: LA Knight
We get the Firefly Fun House video on the TitanTron while Knight throws Jones over the top rope to the floor.
We see all of the friends in the Funhouse appear and then we see Bray making sure the door is fixed, and showing his plumber’s crack. Bray welcomes everyone back to the Firefly Funhouse. He says he is working on the mess. Bray says he has missed you so much. He says he cannot wait to have fun again.
Ramblin’ Rabbit starts to talk like Knight and Abigail tells him to shut the f*** up.
Rabbit says he is scared of the dark.
Huskus says he loves the dark chocolate.
Bray asks what kind of person names their kid Los Angeles Knight. They never had a chance.
Bray wants to holla at ya playa. Bray says the dark is where things like to hide under your bed and want to eat you. Bray says you should be afraid of the dark.
Uncle Howdy shows up on the teelvision and says I told you so. All you needed was a little push.
Bray says he hopes you are satisfied and you understand. You are the one to open the door and whatever comes through it is your problem. See you at the Royal Rumble.
Bray gets out of his trance and waves goodbye.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three: Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis (with B Fab) versus Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo in a First Round Match in the Smackdown Tag Team Championship Tournament
Humberto and Ashante start things off and Ashante with a wrist lock and reversal. Garza tags in and they hit a double hip toss slam for a near fall. Adonis throws his hat at Garza and hits a drop kick. Dolla tags in and he kicks Garza and biels him across the ring. Garza goes to the floor and Dolla makes his way to the floor after him. Dolla has some words for Cole as he chops Garza against the announce table. Dolla with a waist lock but Humberto tags in. Adonis tags in and Humberto with a forearm and a springboard sunset flip but Adonis rolls through. Humberto with a spinning heel kick and then Garza sends Humberto into Dolla for a drop kick. Garza and Humberto with suicide dives.
B Fab grabs Humberto’s leg and Adonis with a rollup for the three count.
Winners: Ashante Thee Adonis and Top Dolla (advance to face Sheamus and Drew McIntyre)
We take a look at the latest from Cody Rhodes.
We see Cody after the Hell in a Cell match. Cody says no human being would have stopped him from getting in the ring. You knew he needed surgery. We see footage of the surgery and Brandi watching it. The doctor says it has to heal. Cody says the questions start creeping in. How long until he is back? Will he be as good as when he left?
We see Cody starting his rehab. The doctor says Cody does not heal faster than anyone else.
Cody says he is trying to respect the nine months prognosis.
We see Cody four months after surgery returning to train. Cody says this is where he can make himself bulletproof. Brandi says Cody has put the work in and he feels better than he ever has.
Cody says the question is not if, but when.
Cody says he has made it crystal clear what he wants. He says he is back at the Royal Rumble.
We go to commercial.
