Chris Jericho was on the Celebrity Name That Tune version of the show and was facing off against Olympic skater Adam Rippon. Chris was playing for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Adam was playing for Pups Without Borders which is an animal rescue place.
They started the game off with the On Shuffle round. It was a back and forth affair with Chris getting four songs right for 4 grand and Adam getting three songs right for 3 grand.
The second round was Bid-A-Note. Adam starts the round off with a one-note bid and proper guess of Achy Breaky Heart for 5 grand.
Chris comes back with the next song for a one note bid and proper guess of Knocking on Heaven's door for 10 grand.
Adam then comes back once more for a one note bid and proper guess of Opps!... I Did It Again for 15 grand.
Chris then comes back with a lone five note bid and proper guess of We Will Rock You for 20 grand and the win of the game. Going into the Golden Medley Round Chris had 34,000 bucks and going for an additional 100 grand for JDRF.
In the Golden Medley Round you get 30 seconds to name 7 songs right to win 100,000 bucks. Chris started off hot with one quick proper guess and then passed on songs 2 and 3. Got number 4 right with 10 seconds left. Quickly got song 5 right. With 6 seconds left blew it on song 6 by saying Superstitious instead of Superstition. Chris gets to continue on since it is the celebrity version of the show to get 2 more songs right in the remaining time left to win 84,000 for his charity.
