Jon Moxley vs. Hangman Adam Page
Nothing like starting out nice and slow with a potential PPV main event. Page marches down with purpose. Lefts and rights at the outset. Elbows by Moxley . Big boot by Moxley. Elbow strikes by PAge. They trade chops. Moxley get the better of it. Page fires back. Moxley throws Page down. Boot to the face by Moxley. Moxley rakes and bites Page's back and nails a superplex for 1. Moxley attempts the cross armbar. Upkick by Moxley. German by Moxley. A second German by Moxley. Page blocks the third with elbows. Northern Lights by Page. Page slides to the apron and gets thrown into the rail. Lariat by Page. Huge running lariat for 2 by Moxley.
We go to commercial.
As we return, Moxley is trying a crossface. Moxley floats over into a front facelock. He tries a choke but Page gets to his feet. Belly to back by Page into a lariat. They trade blows. Page with a fallaway slam. Moxley goes for a German but PAge lands on his feet and nails a lariat. Moxley to the floor and Page nails a moonsault. Moxley avoids the buckshot and nails a Death Rider for 2. Hammer elbows into a bulldog choke for Moxley. Moxley switches back to the elbows into the choke again. Page gets to his feet. Piledriver by Moxley for 1. Kicks by Moxley. Page catches the foot but Moxley goes for the sleeper. Moxley goes for a piledriver but Page nails a dead eye. Curb stomp by Moxley, both men are down.
Back to their feet they trade elbows and headbutts. Palm strikes. The Fourm is rocking, Lariat by Page, he then nails the Buck shot for the pin.
WINNER HANGMAN ADAM PAGE
Doc Sampson is checking on Moxley.
We're told that Moxley is being checked on backstage. Tony Schiavone is in the ring. He brings out Adam Cole, returning to Dynamite after a near 6 month absence. Schiavone exits and Cole has the mic. It's story time. He's got good news and bad news. The good news is that he has a new appreciation for life. He's thankful to be in AEW in Los Angeles. He talks about his health maladies over the last 6 months. Now for the bad news. HE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE. He's not done yet. Today is the day a new Adam Cole is born. He will be the top man in AEW.
Glad to see him back and healthy.
The Acclaimed with some backstage talking a little trash. They'll be on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday.
Lee Moriarty & Big Bill vs. Jungle Boy Jack Perry & Hook
Moriarty and Perry kick us off with a lockup. Lee with a chops. Perry with one of his own. They trade. Perry with a springboard arm drag into a dropkick. Hook tags in. Double Elbow by JungleHook. Moriarty blocks the arm bar. Shoulder tackle by Hook. Perry tags in. Big dropkick by Perry. Stokley provides a distraction. Perry goes to attack but Big Bill with a choke. Hook with the save. Bill tags in and misses a charge but nails a boot. PErry to the floor as we head to commercial.
As we return, it's Moriarty trying an armbar but Perry powerbombs him. Hook tags in and nails a lariat. Northern lights for 2 by Hook, Bill breaks it up. Hook tries to T Bone big Bill. After a Perry dropkick, Hook nails the T Bone. Perry and Moriarty trade rollups. Perry applies the Snare Trap and Moriarty taps out.
WINNERS HOOK AND JUNGLE BOY JACK PERRY
Renee Paquette is with Orange Cassidy, Danhausen and actor Paul Walter Hauser. Hauser asks about how things are with Best Friends. Trent and Chuck show up and they show solidarity.
Renee is in the back with Juice Robinson. He says he is in AEW to kick ass, take names, and win championships, and he challenges Darby Allin on Rampage.
Bryan Danielson vs Konosuke Takeshita
MJF comes out before Danielson enters and mocks Takeshita. Takeshita shoves him and the World Champions demands Takeshita leave the ring. He mocks the women of LA and Danielson. Takeshita looks like way less than a star for leaving the ring. Ken Jeong is at ringside and gets mocked by MJF. Freddir Prinze Jr is here as well. MJF belittles him. Danielson comes out and we have fast action to kick us off. Blue Thunder Bomb by Danielson. Wrist lock by Danielson, Takeshita reverses it. Danielson goes for a surf board. He nails it and applies a reverse chinlock. Dragon sleeper by Danielson. Takeshita turns it into an armbar of his own. Forearms by Takeshita. Chops by Danielson. We get forearms and chops by Takeshita. danielson fires back. Running forearm by Takeshita. Side kicks by Danielson. 2 count by Danielson after a single underhook. Takeshita rains elbow strikes.
Takeshita avoids the LeBell Lock. Danieslon with running foot strikes. Blue Thunder Bomb by Takeshita for 2. Chops by Takeshita. We go to commercial. No we don't. Danielson with chops. Now we head to commercial.
Lariat by Takeshita for 2. MJF watches from the back. Daielson ranas Takeshita over the top. Leg Lariat off the apron by Danielson. Takeshita with a brain buster on the floor and rolls Danieslon back in. Takeshita misses a senton and Danieslon applies the LeBell lock. Takeshita makes the ropes. Round kicks by Danieslon. Takeshita blocks the last one and nails an elbow. They trade elbows. Big lariat by Takeshita. Takeshita goes for a knee but Danieslon gets out of the way. Face buster and a German for 2 by Takeshita.
The crowd is on fire for this one. Danieslon with a Busiaku Knee for 2. Stomps by Danielson into the LeBell lock. Takeshita is unconscious as the ref calls for the bell.
WINNER BRYAN DANIELSON
Danielson helps Takeshita to his feet and they shake hands.
In the back, Renee is with Juice Robinson. He wants the TNT Title.
Saraya & Toni Storm vs. Dr. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter w/Rebel
Storm and Hayter start us off. Lockup, neither woman gives ground. Storm with firey forearms. Knee by Hayter, dropkick by Storm. Hip attack by Storm, Hayter to the floor, Saraya nails a dive in the floor. Saraya tags in and throws Hayter into the ropes. She trips Hayter for 2. Storm tags in. Hayter blocks the double suplex and then power suplexes both of them. Blind tag by Baker, she trips Storm and nails a neckbreaker on the floor. All 4 are brawling on the floor.
Hikaru Shida comes out, kendo stick in tow as we go to commercial.
As we return to live action, Hayter eats 3 upkicks from Storm. Baker and Saraya tag in. Waist lock by Saraya. Nightcap by Saraya for 2. Kick by Baker. Saraya rolls through an air raid and kicks Saraya for 2. Storm tags in and nails hip attack for 2. Cloverleaf by Storm, Hayter with the save and knocks Saraya to the floor. Rip cord by Baker. Hayter tags in and eats a German and piledriver for 2. I have no idea who is legal. Butterfly by Baker to Saraya but Storm with a side kick. Hayter ans Strom trade elbows and they both go down. Rebel goes to the apron. Shida throws the kendo stick into the ring and Baker nails Storm with it. Hayter with HayterAid for the pin.
WINNERS: BRITT BAKER AND JAMIE HAYTER
Here comes the Jericho Appreciation Society. Cool Hand and Daddy Magic get some mic time and Jericho takes over. He puts over what they did at the end of the match last week. Here comes Starks and Andretti. Starks points out they're still standing. Andretti threatens to shove the baseball bat in and very uncomfortable place. Andretti questions Tay Melo's fidelity. Starks has something to say. He calls out Jake Hager and calls him the village idiot of the JAS. Starks challenges Hager 1 on 1. Tony Khan has already approved the match. Hager threatens to slap Stark's face from his face.
Match 7 for the AEW World Trios Championship Ladder Match: Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks vs. The Lucha Bros & Pac
Don Callis has joined the booth. We begin with a stare down. All 6 immediately brawl to the floor. Nick and Fenix tee off on one another. Pents hits Omega with a backstabber. Matt Jackson with a charge and he eats a kick. Nick Jackson with a facebuster. Pac with a stunner and Fenix with a frog splash on Nick. Omega gets clotheslined with a ladder and Fenix dives on him to the floor. Nick Jackson takes out Fenix with a dive of his own. Big snap face buster by Matt into Fenix. Matt sends PAc to the floor and nails Fenix with a destroyer.
I'll reset here and say that Young Buckery is going on.
There's a table set up at ringside as PAc nails a shotgun dropkick to Omega, Omega with a snap dragon to Pac. Omega goes for a big dive ontp Pac, who gets out of the way and Omega just flies through the table. Nick Jackson with a high cross body to Pac through a table as we head to commercial and I regret my choice of not bullet pointing this.
We're back. Nick shoves a ladder into Penta and nails a kick. Matt backdrops Penta onto the ladder. Fenix with a hurancanrana to Nick JAckson who lands tailbone first onto a ladder. Pac slams Omega's hand into a ladder. Pac makes his ascent. Omega blocks him but eats a poison rana. Lucha Bros with the Fear Factor. Nick blocks a Luca Bros Suplex and it;s a super kick party. Matt Northern lights Fenix into a ladder. Nick with a 450 onto Penta through a table. Fenix blocks Matt climbing the ladder. Alex Abrahantes interferes and Brandon Cutler sprays him.
Pac uses the hammer on Omega. Pac tries to climb the ladder. Matt stops him. Penta sets up a bridge and fear factors Matt on to a ladder. Fenix and Omega climb the ladder. Omega with a one winged angel off the ladder. Pac eats Omegas knees as he tries Black arrow. Omega climbs the ladder and pulls a belt down for the win.
