It is the Season Finale of NWA Power. Our commentary team is Joe Galli and Velvet Sky.
We start with more statements from various wrestlers about the Champions series and the teams they are on.
EC3, Thrillbilly Silas, and Carnage vs Colby Carino, Odinson, and Joe Alzono
Silas starts with Colby, who is about a head and a half shorter than Silas. They lock up collar and elbow and Silas shoves Colby back. Colby tells him to tag in Carnage, and he does. They lock up as Carnage lifts Colby and puts him in the corner. Carnage tags in EC3. They lock up and EC3 knocks him to the mat. Colby tags in Odinson. Joe then tags himself in.
They lock up and Joe tries to take EC3 over, and EC3 doesn’t budge. He then takes Joe down. They work to their feet and run the ropes with Joe getting a pair of arm drags on EC3. EC3 is able to get a shoulder tackle and tags in Silas. When they run the ropes, Joe gets a herald scissors takedown, just barely, and then drop-kicks Silas out of the ring.
Carnage tags in and Joe gets a drop-kick and tries for a cross body, only to be caught and tossed. Carnage tags in EC3 and clubs Joe as his body is draped across the apron. Silas is tagged in and he and EC3 drop Joe with a back elbow and Silas covers for two. Silas carries Joe around in a gorilla press and EC3 tags in and Silas tossed Joe across EC3’s knee. EC locks on an arm bar and then whips him down to the mat.
Carnage is tagged in and hits a vertical suplex for two. Carnage holds Joe down in an arm bar and Joe fights his way up until Carnage slams him down. Carnage misses a splash in the corner and he tags in Silas. Silas misses an elbow drop and Joe hits a DDT. EC3 is tagged in and Joe is able to get the tag to Odinson, who cleans house.
After Odinson slams EC3, Cody tags in and locks in an abdominal stretch. Silas grabs Cody and hits the Thrillride and EC3 gets a quick submission with a half nelson
Winners and getting 3 points: EC3, Thrillbilly Silas, and Carnage
May Valentine asks Taya Valkyrie about putting La Rosa Negra in the hospital and putting her out of the competition. Taya says Rosa has lost her spark, but she will send her a Get Well card.
Angelina Love vs Taya Valkyrie
Taya drops Love and rains down blows and then ties up her legs with Love on her stomach and wrenching in. Taya pulls Love back and clubs her a few times before locking in the rear chinlock. Love makes it to the ropes. Love hits a lights out and locks in her submission. Taya makes it to the ropes for a break, but Love refuses to break the hold.
The Ref says it is a Grade 1 DQ, so 1 point to Taya
Taya bails from the ring when the match starts again. When she gets on the apron, Love slams her head on the turnbuckle and then kicks her, dragging her into the ring for a two count. Love gets a head scissors takedown. As Love comes off the ropes, Taya yanks Love down by her hair and gets a two count. Taya gets a back elbow in the corner and keeps up the attack with a hip attack, and then grinds into Love. Taya then hits double knees in the face in the corner for a cover and a two count.
Taya gets a rear chinlock and cranks it back hard. Love fights to her feet and gets a jawbreaker to free herself. Love gets a pair of clotheslines and a back elbow followed by a running bulldog for two. Taya is able to grab Love for the front slam, the pin and the win.
Winner and getting 5 more points: Taya Valkyrie
May interviews Aron Stevens and asks him about Carnage still benign in the competition. He says that Carnage is half of the most devastating tag team in business today. She asks why he didn’t go to Brazil with her. He says he had ticket and passport issues. They discuss their trust issues, and Aron says it’s time for them to get married. She asks if it’s right now, and he says he wants to give her the best so they need time to plan.
Samantha Starr and Kayla Kassidy vs Max The Impaler and Ashley D’Amboise
Max and Kayla start and Max tosses her back to the corner. Kayla gets out of the ring to regroup. Ashley is tagged in and Kayla gets back in the ring. They trade side headlocks. They work a couple of half holds until Ashley takes Kayla down with a hair pull, but misses the leg drop. Kayla gets a type of a Spanish Fly, kind of a slow motion version without the flip. Ashley tags in Max.
Kayla tries a few attacks, but Max ignores them and gets a Thesz press without going to the mat. Max then manhandles Kayla in the ropes and licks Layla’s face. Max slams Kayla by her hair. Max then tosses Kayla across the ring. Max then hits a curb stomp into the bottom turnbuckle. Max covers for two.
Max stomps Kayla and tags in Ashley, and Max slams Ashley onto Kayla. Ashley then gets a leg drop and another curb stomp, this time into the mat for two. They both get up, but Kayla is able to get a clothesline in the corner so that she can escape and tag in Starr.
Starr hits a series of clotheslines and then covers for two. Starr hits a booty bomb in the corner and then traps Ashley’s head and, using her knees, slams it into the mat a few times and covers for two. Ashley gets a jawbreaker and tag in Max, who charges into Starr in the corner and pummels her there. Max tosses Starr and the covers for two.
Max tosses Starr to her corner, and Starr tries to fight her way out, but Max hits a shoulder to the midsection. Ashley tags in and Max is not happy about it, pie facing her. Max tries to charge Ashley, who dodges and Max goes out of the ring. Ashley then hits a swinging neck breaker on Starr for one. Starr hits a DDT and covers for the pin and the win.
Winners and getting 5 points: Samantha Starr and Kayla Kassidy
Jennacide and Madi vs Natalia Markova and Missa Kate
Madi and Missa start, and Missa tries to shake hands, but instead, Madi uses it as an opportunity to attack. Madi then puts herself in the ropes so that Missa can’t attack and tags in Jennacide. Jennacide gets in a series of blows. She then grabs a foot and Missa’s head and stretches her. She lets go of the hold and grabs Missa’s foot and drives her knee into the mat. Madi is tagged in and does the same.
She then traps the leg and pulls back on Missa’s hair, breaking before the five. She then locks in a half crab on Missa. Missa is able to roll through and tag in Markova and who comes in with chops. She whips Madi face-first into the turnbuckles and gets a snap mare. Madi tags in Jennacide. They trade forearms in the middle of the ring. It changes to chops. Jennacide gets a take-down and traps the legs and pulls back on the arm, but Markova breaks free and crawls to the corner. Jennacide grabs a leg to drop her and then ties her into the tree of woe. Madi then whips Jennacide into Markova.
Madi misses a backdrop and Markova tries to take control, but Madi is able to reverse it into a bow and arrow submission. Marevoka escapes and tags in Missa, who lays in forearms. She gets a back body drop on Madi. Madi locks in a submission by locking an arm and a leg over Missa’s head, broken up by Jennacide. Jennaside is tagged in as is Markova. Jennacide gets a two count. Missa gives a kick to Madi, and Markova is able to lock in a submission and Madi taps out.
Winners and getting 6 points to tie: Jennacide and Madi
tiebreaker: Sal the Pal and Cyon vs Ricky Morton and Terry Morton
Sal and Terry start off the match with Sal chanting on the mat. They lock up and Sal pushes them back into the ropes. Terry gets an arm drag instead of a break. They lock up again and Sal gets an arm bar. Terry twists out and locks on his own arm bar. Sal reverses it and bites Terry. Terry reverses to a side headlock takeover. Sal twists out.
Sal calls for a hug. Terry turns it into a waistlock and then an arm bar. Terry is whipped to the corner, goes up and over and gets an arm drag. They work to the corner where Sal takes over with an elbow and a roll up for two. Terry rolls up for two, and Terry takes Sal down with an arm bar. Ricky tags in and goes with knee lifts.
Terry is tagged back in and sets in a rear chin lock. They run the ropes and both get quick roll ups. As they get up, Terry takes over again and tags in Ricky. Ricky gets a quick shoulder tackle. Ricky goes to the outside to confront Austin Idol, but Cyon is tagged in and attacks Ricky on the floor. Ricky is rolled into the ring and Cyon takes over with elbows and chops. He takes Ricky down and nails him with elbows and gets a rear chinlock. Cyon gets a two count cover. Cyon puts his feet on Ricky’s hair and pulls his arms. Cyon baits Terry into the ring and tags in Sal.
Sal gets a series of headbutts and then a knee before tagging in Cyon. Cyon whips Ricky into the buckle, but Ricky moves before Cyon’s charge. Ricky is able to get the hot tag, and Sal is tagged in as well.
Terry cleans house. He ends his attack with a power slam and Terry’s pin is broken up by Cyon. Cyon takes Ricky to the floor, but Terry is able to get a leaping knee strike on Sal for the pin and the win.
