It is Friday and Battle of the Belts V is in Veteran's Memorial Colosseum in Portland Oregon, and it’s live, partner! Our commentary team is Jim Ross, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Chris Jericho.
The Acclaimed (AEW Tag Team Champions) vs Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett - No Holds Barred
And it’s brawling to start, with Lethal locking in a figure four on Anthony Bowens and rolling him down the ramp. They get into the ring and Bowens hits a series of blows on Lethal before Max Caster comes in for a double suplex and a two count. Caster keep up the attack and it’s not longer until we get an attempt at the Scissor Me Timbers, interrupted by Jarrett.
Lethal and Jarrett are able to toss the Acclaimed out of the ring and they strut as we go to picture in picture. When we return to full screen, Bowens and Lethal are throwing hands, but Bowens gets a clothesline on Lethal and both men are down. Jarrett and Caster are tagged in and Caster cleans house. Caster hits an Olympic Slam and locks on the ankle lock to follow up on the Kurt Angle stuff he’s been sating. Lethal breaks it up, but Billy Gunn attacks Lethal when the ref is knocked down.
Bowens gets a pin but there’s no ref. When the ref show, he only gets a two. Jarrett gets is guitar and Billy Gunn tries to take it, and Jarrett kicks with a low blow. Dutt then knocks the boom box into Bowens. Billy Gunn has the guitar and threatens Jarrett. Satnam come sin the ring and threatens Gunn, who nails him with the guitar, that does nothing. Satnam then choke slams both of the The Acclaimed. He takes out the run.
Dutt puts on the referee’s shirt and Lethal gets the Lethal Injection on Bowens, and Dutt counts to two before Aubry pulls Dutt out of the ring. Aubry and Dutt get in the ring and Aubry breaks Dutt’s pencil. The Acclaimed hit the arrival and the mix drop on Lethal for the pin and the win.

Much like the match Wednesday, tons of shenanigans and fast paced, but not quite as fun since it was the second time in a week.

In the back, Eddie Kingston and Ortiz are talking, and Ortiz wonders why he isn’t being mentioned by the House of Black, and Eddie says they will take them on next week on Rampage
Jade Cargill (TBS Champion) vs Skye Blue
Haven’t we had this match a couple of times already?
After Jade shoves the belt in Blue’s face, Blue hits a big series of blows. Blue gets a crucifix roll up for a two count and then a sunset flip for a two count. Jade rolls to the outside to regroup. When Jade gets back in the ring, Blue goes for a waistlock, and then when they go to the corner, Jade knocks Blue to the outside And takes control on the ramp. Jade hits a choke slam on the ramp.
Red Velvet comes out onto the ramp as the ref starts a ten count. Blue slowly crawls to the ring and gets in at 9. Jade slams Blue’s face into the turnbuckles all the way down as we go picture in picture. When we return to full screen, Blue hasn’t gotten in any offense. Blue gets a spinning head scissor takedown, but has to spin twice to get Jade down. Blue gets a kick to Jade’s head. Jade whips Blue into the ropes and hits her with a pump kick.
Red Velvet walks down to the ring. Red and Leila Grey have words at ringside.
Blue is able to used the Jaded for a quick rollup and a two count and then hits a code blue for a two count. Blue charges into Jake in the corner and is able to get a couple of moves, but when she goes for the hurricanrana, Jade stops her, spins her around on her shoulders and gets the Jaded for the pin and the win.

Stokely Hathaway explains to Lexi that his team with beat Jungle Boy and Hook in LA next Wednesday.
We then get promos from Tay Conti and Anna Jay vs Ruby Soho and Willow Nightingale for a street fight next week.
Orange Cassidy (All Atlantic Champion) w/Danhausen vs Kip Sabian w/Penelope Ford
The Best Friends do NOT come down with Orange Cassidy
Sabina mocks Cassidy by starting the pocket, but Cassidy goes for the Orange Punch immediately. They run the ropes and when Cassidy takes Sabian down and rains down blows, and Sabian rolls out of the ring. Sabian sits down at ringside and puts on his sunglasses. The Bunny comes down to ringside as well and Cassidy comes out of the ring to confront Sabian., who attacks Cassidy.
Cassidy is tolled into the ring and then Sabian whips him into the corner and knocks him to the floor. Sabian then hits a moonsault onto Cassidy on the floor and the women give him the friendship hug. Danhausen curses Sabian, and Sabian grabs Danhausen’s cursing hand and bites his finger. This allows Cassidy to leap onto Sabian. Cassidy tosses Sabian into the ring and hits a crossbody. They brawl to the floor where Sabian hits a neck breaker on the floor.
Cassidy is rolled into the ring as we go picture in picture. When we return to full screen, Sabian misses a cannonball in the corner as Cassidy slipped out. Cassidy pulls him to the top and Sabian tries to fight free. They both struggle for control. Cassidy finally gets a super plex and after he takes off the elbow pad, Bunny grabs Cassidy’s foot. The ref sees it and she...is...OUTTA HERE!
Cassidy and Sabian trade waist locks in the middle of the ring and Cassidy shoves Sabian to the corner. They collide and Sabian comes out of the corner. Butcher and the Blade come out from the back and Danhausen tries to stop them to no avail.
Butcher and Blade grab chairs to sit and watch at ringside. Sabian and Cassidy trade elbow strikes. Sabian then hits a soft slap to mock Cassidy, and Cassidy hits a real one. Sabian hits the soft kicks and Cassidy hits a big series of elbows. Sabian motions for pockets and instead hits a head butt and a pair o knee strikes. He covers Cassidy for two and then hits a kick and a package suplex for two.
Cassidy is tossed out of the ring in front of Butcher and blade and who their chairs up for a slam, yut the Best Friends show up to stop them. Cassidy goes for a diving DDT, but Sabian stops it with a corkscrew neck breaker. Sabian puts on Cassidy’s elbow pad and hits the Orange Punch, but Cassidy powers up and hits a DDT. Cassidy hits a BK and a beach break for a two count. Cassidy then stomps on Sabian in the corner when the ref pulls him off, Cassidy strike the ref. Cassidy is shocked he did that and Sabian takes advantage for a rollup and two count.
Cassidy is able to get the orange punch twice for the pin and the win.
