After AEW Dynamite went off the air, Darby Allin addressed the crowd. He said that he remembered coming to this arena when the Sonics played here and used to take the Metro Bus here.
He said he graduated High School at 115 lbs and joked he's 120 lbs now. He said that never believed in himself but he's telling everyone that if you have a "f***ing dream", you don't listen to anyone else, you listen to yourself and do it.
He asked Nick Wayne to jump the rail and come into the ring. He introduced Wayne to the crowd and said last year, he gave him a contract. His father Nick Wayne trained Darby. He said that he know Buddy Wayne isn't here anymore, but he knows he's proud. He teased himself vs. Wayne for the AEW TNT title one day but then told Wayne he's got to graduate High School first.
He thanked Seattle and asked them to let the locker room see what Seattle is all about for the rest of the night.
