Holy f***, it has been 52 weeks of this! It doesn’t feel like that long but I’m gonna have a whole sappy post at some point about the sheer force of community we’ve built in a year. Next week is the official 1 year anniversary but it is an absolute joy to see an experiment that some folks were absolutely dragging when it was revealed become an absolute success and way more than just a “who’s next open mic feeder show” for Beyond Wrestling. Spotlight Match: Moshpit vs Eric Cha Cha
Moshpit with some heavy whips. Eric lands some thudding kicks to the chest. Moshpit with a powerslam. Heavy shots to the back, big back suplex. Cha Cha with a rough looking reversal to a rollup. Moshpit boots him over for the infraction. Moshpit headbands right into the buckles. Flying bulldog from Chacha. Back drop from Moshpit. Huge one hand chokeslam for the win.

This crowd is EXTRA PUMPED tonight. It seems pretty packed already? We’re live! Let’s gooooooo! Aaron Rourke is out here to face a mystery opponent of Bryce Donovan’s choosing. Who will it be??? THIS IS AN ACCEPTABLE ALTERNATIVE!!!
Match 1: Aaron Rourke vs Anthony Greene
This doesn’t start friendly. Shotgun to the corner and Rourke gets to slapping. He tries a head scissors but AG flapjacks him. Suicide dive to the floor! High crossbody for two! Up and over, back and forth, Rourke kicks the rope and AG gets it in the nards. Rourke with a sweep of the apron and a double stomp. Meteora! Inverted flapjack from AG. Hard chop! Bulldog! Fly back into a cutter outta nowhere! AG yells BE SHOOK and hits a black hole slam for Bryce Donovan! Rourke back with a big German but runs into a superkick! AG tries the bulldog, cartwheel into another German! Sick spot! They get the wrists and trade forearms! Kicks! Rourke flips out of a suplex and tries a rollup. AG with a running rock bottom to the apron! Slingshot from AG, Rourke meets him with a spear! Kick out! This rules! Rourke gets the head scissors and lands a code red! Kick out! Trading boots! Rourke to the top! AG hits a cutter after kicking out the rope! Rourke with the rollup, Reversed! It’s deep! AG wins!

Match 2: Brother Greatness vs Baliyan Akki
Hell yes. This brother really wants that hallelujah but Akki wraps up the wrist. Hard chops as BG begs off. Akki with heavy kicks to the gut. Greatness slips out of Akki’s grasp and rolls him head first into the buckles. Ow. Greatness can’t help but try to preach and Akki uses the time to catch foot and flurry. BG out and tries his punt. Akki with a backbreaker! Big backbreaker! Cradle shoulderbreaker from Akki and Brother Greatness is DOA. RIP.
Winner: Baliyan Akki
Match 3: Brick City Boyz (Victor Chase & JCruz) vs The Haven (Shawn Knyte & Jay Onyx)
Haven WANTS this and comes right in on Brick City! Pop up corkscrew splash! Shawn gets isolated and pummels. Cruz bumped off the apron, Onyx in! Big shots to Chase! Butterfly piledriver! Chase somehow kicks out! Huge Haven flurry! Big splash! Another kick out! Huge lionsault! Cruz finally makes the save! Haven is firing on on cylinders until Cruz blasts them out of the air. Chase with an air raid crash to Onyx and calls for the Brick End. They hit Onyx with it, Knyte can’t make the crawl in time. Brick City advances!!! This was a hot to death six minutes.
Winners: Brick City Boyz
Match 4: “Dream Crusher” Danny Miles vs Fancy Ryan Clancy (Best of 5 Series Final for real this time)
This is no time limit. This MUST have a finish. The crowd is already in Miles’ head. Clancy is just HANDLING him and sends Danny to the floor. Danny catches Clancy…Clancy runs him into the post! Hard chops! He tries a high knee but Crashes into the steel. Dragon screw on the floor from Miles. Oh no! Clancy kicks out but he’s clearly in trouble. Miles focusing on that leg. Clancy trying to stand but can’t dodge the lariat. Huge backbreaker! Clancy trying to fight back but goes for that knee again and rams into the buckle this time. It’s a bad move to keep going for. Hard chops from Miles. Kicking out the quads! He tries a cannonball but Clancy rolls free! He hits the knee! Suplex! Back suplex! Fancy cannonball! Kick out! He tries a powerbomb but Miles gets free! He hits the side Russian! Oh no! Lungblower! Fisherman’s driver! Fancy keeps kicking out! Hard whip but Clancy can’t run. Miles gets the leg, Clancy with the enziguri! He hits the powerbomb! Kick out! He’s going for a crab but Miles kicks out the knee! Dragon screw to a figure four! Clancy screaming in pain and might pass out in the hold. Slap fight in the hold, Clancy rolls it! Both into the ropes! Slugging it out on the apron. Clancy plants him. Fancy to the top! A classic top rope Splash! Clancy wins the match AND the series!!!
Winner: Fancy Ryan Clancy
Match 5: Ray Jaz vs Rex Lawless
Lawless wants to fight but Jaz keeps running to the ropes for safety. He picks up Jaz like a baby and tosses him effortlessly across the ring. Hard chops, tosses, Jaz is hurting. He tries the sunset flip but Rex deposits him on the apron and boots him to the floor. Chokebreaker out of the tree of woe. That was brilliant. Jaz flips free and turns right into a spear! Rex misses a big foot and Jaz finally starts to turn on. Rex cuts that off immediately but Jaz switches to a backslide and gets the pin out of nowhere! Jaz runs for his life with the W. Nooooooooooo!
Winner: Ray Jaz
Channing Thomas is out here and furious. He yells “Alec Price. Next week. One Year. One Hour.” Whoaaaaa an ironman match???
Match 6: The Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & BRG) vs Mutually Assured Destruction (Rip Byson & Perry Von Vicious)
This is…expectedly…an anti-Ranch crowd. Perry with a huge press slam to BRG. Stetson tries his mettle with Rip and it’s a chop and slug fest. Stetson rams rip into their corner and it’s a double team party in ranch town. Saddle senton time. BRG thinks Rip is dead…he’s wrong. Ranch both picked up in a Samoan drop! Tag to Perry! BRG used as a battering ram! Huge delay vertical suplex for two! BRG tries to catch Perry on the corner but he just gets powerbombed. Rip is down on the outside. BRG grabs Perry’s leg as Stetson runs in and blasts the northern lariat and lets BRG take the pin.
Winners: Stetson Ranch
Match 7: Dan Barry vs Marcus Mathers
Heeeeeeere we go! Handshake! Sportsmanship! Dan runs him into the corner. He gets Marcus on a full bridge on the rest of strength. Roll through to a headlock. This is confident ring general Dan Barry tonight. Mathers trying his arm drags but Barry has it scouted. Heavy uppercut drops the kid. Fight to the apron, Dan hits an air raid crash! Dannonball? Mathers kicks up and out. Fight to the top! Superplex! Mathers with a suplex of his own into the buckles they both dead. They’re back to their knees and throwing bombs. Hard chopping! Mathers with a flying forearm and lariat! Cutter! Lionsault! Kick out! Mathers says he’s ending the match and dans career right now….Barry ducks under! Superkick! Rolling dvd! Swanton! Mathers kicks out!!! Slingshot off the too…destroyer! Tope into the front row! Mathers with a powerbomb! 450 connects! Kick out! Huge pop! Mathers is getting frustrated. Barry won’t stay down! Huge sequence of pins and reversals, Dan out of the powerbomb and hits a stiff burning hammer!!!! Omg!!! Mathers is done! Dan Barry passed this test with flying colors!

Rich Palladino just confirmed next week is Alec Price vs Channing Thomas in an Iron Man match. Yessssssssss!!!!
(We go to a 25-min intermission while the cage is being set up. On IWTV, they play a video highlighting the year of animosity between all participants of the main event. It’s real good.)
Watching the cage get set up. They clearly are using the ICW canvas and it is groooosssss. There’s glass embedded in this thing after a LOT of wars.
Main Event: Miracle Ones (Dustin Walller, Kylon King & Ichiban) and Bobby Orlando vs Pedro Dones, The Mane Event (Midas Black and Jay Lyon) and Brad Hollister (Steel Cage Warefare)
We got WarGames rules tonight! Brad Hollister won the right to have the advantage for his team so let’s hope we get a miracle! Brad Hollister and Ichiban are starting this fight for the first five minute period. Bacon is in olive drab, this IS war! A very brief staredown and they go right into the brawling. Ichiban blasts back with a boot and chops up Bacon. Brad avoids eating steel and starts to come back. These long term enemies are just laying into each other. It’s a FIGHT. Ichiban springs up to avoid the steel and cross bodies off the cage! Bacon eating the steel! Handspring back elbow! Bacon catches another crossbody and sends aI highs crashing to earth. Hollister taunting the crowd as he Germans Ichiban around the ring and introduces him to the cage wall. Bacon wants a bomb off the top?!? Ichiban with a head scissor! Huge crash! The buzzer sounds.
Midas Black is out next. It’s all two minute intervals from here. Ichiban is ready and drops them both. Bacon catches him and tosses him to a Samoan drop from Midas. Sick move. Ichiban whipped into a harrrrrd lariat that turns him inside out. Ichiban getting stomped out as the buzzer sounds.
Dustin Waller is in! Double springboard cutter!!!! Flying forearms for everyone! Bacon eating steel like it’s tacos. Mmm…I want tacos. Anyways, Midas thrown into Bacon and Dustin helps Ichiban back to his feet. This is an even brawl at least as both teams trade blows. Ichiban with a high cross body and everyone’s down as The buzzer rings.
Jay Lyon is out next! He’s got full camo! I love this. Huge suplex. Butterfly spike piledriver to Dustin. Dustin needs a miracle for real as the beatdown continues, since there’s no need to try for pins right now. Midas with a headbutt to the groin as the buzzer sounds.
Kylon King’s in to even it up! Spear right to Brad! Headkick to Lyon. Midas dropped and Bacon eats a dropkick to the face. Belt to belly smashes Midas into the steel. Destroyer to Lyon! Brutal bumps here. Miracle Ones are owning the moment as the buzzer sounds for the final 4:3 advantage.
Pedro Dones is here to round out his team! He slow walks to the ring, Miracle Ones are ready but get blindsided by the rest of the team. Bring in the circus hoop! Dones is leading his team to an absolutely mauling of the Miracle Ones. It’s a slow methodical beatdown. It’s looking bad as the final buzzer sounds.
Bobby Orlando arrives! The match Beyond has begun! He’s got a bunch of plunder and starts throwing it in the ring! Bacon eats a trash can! Dones shotgunned into the cage. Sick trick cutter to Brad! He tries the Dab elbow but Midas blasts him out of the air with a trash can. Ichiban with a Destroyer to Midas. Lyon lawn darts him and hits a spinning uranage. Kylon with a spin tombstone! Pedro with a fishermans’s buster! Dustin wraps up Pedro with a chain and hits a cutter! Jeeeeesus! Bacon catches Dustin up top….he traps Kylon too…German Samoan drop combo to Miracle Generation! Both teams get to their feet and it’s a huge standup brawl! Dones and co get smashes into the cage repeatedly. Quad collision in the center! It’s a four-way submission! Bacon picks up Ichiban out of a dragon sleeper and rams into everyone else. Lyon’s got a chair and sabu’s Kylon. Rock bottom/flatliner combo on Kylon through a chair. This landing was gnarly. Bobby with a can lid shot and slams Midas onto it. Dustin hits a van terminator to Lyon!!!!! Bobby has a full Nelson on but Dones splinters a kendo stick over his back. Brad and Pedro have Bobby choking out. Kylon with a moonsault off the top of the cage! Pedro annihilated by all four guys! They grab the circus hoop and choke Pedro Dones into submission. Holy s*** this was fantastic! This was absolutely perfect. A crazy intense main event fight between two teams that absolutely despised each other.
Winners: Miracle Ones & Bobby Orlando
Holy hell. This was an absolute monster of a show. We broke 400 in attendance?!? This was an absolutely fire crowd and the energy was reciprocated tenfold in the ring. This was a culmination of so many weeks of hard work and long term storytelling…but we’re clearly not done by a long shot. If you’ve been watching along, reading along, coming to Worcester week in and week out, tonight was a REWARD for everyone. We still have Pitfighter X in a little over an hour before the night’s out. My heart is full of the goodness of professional wrestling. Thank you Wrestling Open. I am now ready for some violence porn.
