Wrestling Open Week 51
12/22/22 Worcester, MA
Streaming on IWTV
It’s the Thursday before Christmas and all through the White Eagle, a crowd is forming to watch Alec Price (by way of the definitely not Alec Price newcomer Ultimo X) get permission to wrestle in Worcester again. I’m in NOLA this week so not in the house so I missed the Spotlight Match. I’m told it was Ray Jaz vs Gabriel Skye. I fully expect that match to hit the Wrestling Open Youtube this week (https://youtube.com/@WrestlingOpen) and I also fully expect that the match was good and Ray Jaz almost certainly won via cradle bomb, jaz mission or that sunset flip pin of his. AM I WRONG? Look for that video when it hits YouTube. I do hope he was thoroughly booed to death. But I am watching via IWTV and we’re live. paul Crockett and Denver Colorado are at the commentary booth. Rich Palladino is your announcer. Let’s GO HO HO! (Sorry not sorry)
TJ Crawford is out here to open the show and none to happy about losing to Marcus Mathers last week (that match was reallllllllly good btw so check it out on Episode 50, if you haven’t). He wants to turn all these annoying losses around and demanded that he get the best Wrestling Open can offer. He got three of best…provided he could find two partners. He sure did….and they hit HARD.
Match 1: TJ Crawford & Brick City Boyz (Victor Chase & JCruz) vs Miracle Ones (Dustin Waller, Kylon King & Ichiban)
Brick City does look a little worried to be paired with TJC, who is fighting with a huge chip on his shoulder. TJC wants to prove he can take this whole match on himself but Cruz just tags himself in. Miracle Generation triple teaming like wild on Cruz. Chase in to make the save….he catches Kylon but Ichiban dropkicks him over. Miracle Ones are showing just how much of a well oiled trio they are. Ichibam goes for a big dive but TJC pops him up with a right hand. Miracle gets posted and the hard hitters are taking over. Ichiban taking a load of punishment. Great northern lights from Cruz for two. TJC and Chase seems to be having a disagreement at the tag corner. TJC tries to hold Ichiban back but misses and we get Kylon in. Kylon exists Brick City from the apron. Cruz interrupts the finish and we get a BCB backbreaker slam. TJC tries to tag out but Brick City won’t let him. They say to finish Dustin himself. Dustin challenges them to get in the ring and they opt to leave TJC to the wolves. Miracle Ones put TJC down with an absolutely sick head kick to wheelbarrow cutter to a code red Rube Goldberg machine finish. Wowwwwwwww.
Winners: Miracle Ones
Dustin on the mic. They LOVE professional wrestling but they aren’t haven’t as much fun anymore. It’s because of Pedro Dones. Miracle Ones are very much looking towards next week’s Steel Cage Warfare. They are sick of Pedro Dones and how he has seemingly brainwashed The Mane Event. They won’t need a miracle next week. God forgives. The Miracle Ones don’t.
Meanwhile Brick City Boyz are going one on one with the Haven next week with a spot in the T4 Summit on the line.
OFFICIAL: A brand new tag team match has been signed for #TheLastStand next Thursday!

Match 2: Paris Van Dale vs Shannon Lavangie
Paris demands the front row stand and clap for her. Boooooo. Shannon with a double leg and quick jackknife pin. Paris trying to counter but Shannon staying ahead of it. Paris catches a hard knee, Shannon back with a kick, double hair pull slam to the mat. They’ve just gotten right into a slugfest. Big yakuza kick from Lavangie. Paris back with a meteor in the corner. Paris tries a pull up bomb but Shannon hits knees out of it. Paris is sick of this. Double throat chop, DDT. This should be over…Shannon kicks out! She tries a butterfly ddt….Shannon kicks out! Back elbow from Shannon! Ripcord lariat! Shannon to the top…..sparkle splash! Shannon wins!
Winner: Shannon LaVangie
Match 3: Armani Kayos & Jariel Rivera vs Mutually Assured Destruction (Rip Byson & Perry Von Vicious)
This is not a good draw for Kayos and Rivera. Their chops are worthless against MAD. Rip and Perry unloading with hard shots. Kayos thinks he has a shot and lands a big ineffectual slap. Double press slams from MAD. Kayos catches Perry with a sucker punch and a Rivera flatliner almost set Las it. Split leg drop for two from Kayos. Perry finally fights them off…….tag to Byson. Going wild! Double slam! Catches Kayos into a German! Unloading on Rivera but he hits a back elbow to Perry and Byson they hit a wheelbarrow X factor on Byson! Perry saves it! Double chokeslam collider and slams them down for the win!
Winners: Mutually Assured Destruction

Pedro Dones is out here. He sends Rich Palladino out of the ring and tells everyone to shut up. He’s not calling a shot tonight….he’s looking at next week’s clash in the steel cage…and the Shot Callers are coming for BLOOD.
Match 4: Pedro Dones vs Curt Robinson
Robinson had a great showing last week and this is a huge step up in competition for him. Dones weathers the initial storm and just starts unloading on the kid. Robinson finally hits a boot, big body slam. He comes off the ropes but Dones lands a hard shot to the lower back. Dones with dismissive kicks to the back of the head, he’s walking Curt Robinson. Big elbow drop but Curt kicks out. Headlock takeover…high cross body from Robinson! Dones hits a headbutt to the spine out of nowhere and destroys Curt with a should breaker, folding him up for the pin.
Winner: Pedro Dones
Steven Stetson is out here with a microphone. He’s talking about how he’s been coaching Danny Miles on how to beat Fancy Ryan Clancy in this final match of the Best of 5 series. He brings the Enforcer out to give him just what he needs to have an edge….his own cowboy hat! Miles is fired up to WIN.
Match 5: “The Dream Crusher” Danny Miles vs Fancy Ryan Clancy (Best of 5 Series Final)
They are tied at 2 wins each. Both are dead serious about the gravity of this moment. Heavy chops from Miles. Clancy firing right back. The crowd is right on his side. Miles with an angry headlock takedown but Clancy drags him right to the outside and chops him up on the apron. Miles gets a shot in but Clancy hits a double axe handle to the chest for two. Hard whip from Miles and he counters a kick and lands hard on the Quad. Dragon screw! Clancy looking hurt and Miles is confident. Big delay vertical suplex. Spinning sidewalk slam. Hard chop to the back and a tree of woe cannonball! Miles trying another corner chop but Clancy with a cross body! Slugging it out in the center. Atomic drop! Big clothesline! Flip senton for two. Struggling over germans, Miles gets it….for two. That should have been it. Miles tries the side Russian?!? Clancy reverses it and hits a gut buster! Yeah lets steal moves! Diving headset misses! They both go for finishes…Clancy hits the DDT. Miles rolls out….we have ten seconds left! He rolls Miles back in and hits the diving headbutt as the bell rings. This was awesome. I love how Open uses their time limit rules for good.
Winner: No One (Time Limit Draw)

Clancy isn’t letting it stand like this! Next week, at The Last Stand, he challenges Miles to a final showdown with NO TIME LIMIT! Miles accepts!
Love Doug is here! He has a Santa suit. Not a Santa costume….a suit covered in Santas. He’s very festive. He says he made a mistake last week and he needs to rectify it. He has a proposal. He brings out Little Mean Kathleen. He says they will be having a rematch between her and Goodz vs the Flirtation next week and He offers LMK a chance to join the Flirtation. It’s a real proposal. She just wants to fight. Doug cues up some romantic music but LMK just wants to FIGHT. He tries again with Marvin Gaye and throws flower petals at him. LMK starts dancing….Doug is on one knee with a ring?!? LMK is shocked and holds her hand out….Doug puts a ring on it. Is it a 3 on 1 at New Years? No. Nonono. LMK hits a Dudley Dog and says that next week they can take some engagement photos. Deeeeeeeeeeelightful. I love LMK on a microphone. This was the right kind of dumb.

Match 6: The Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & BRG) vs Locked & Loaded (Dan Barry & 50 Cal)
I’m so proud of Worcester for embracing the “turn around and give Stetson the finger during his entrance” gimmick. The crowd lets Stetson know that he is a “gross but crucial part of the body”, says Paul Crockett. Locked and Loaded steal their cowboy hats and the Ranch is furious. Cal rips off his shirt, sends Stetson flying and BRG has to calm his boss down. He almost rolls up BRG but Stetson just tosses him through the ropes. Elbow drop from BRG and lets Stetson try the pin. Stetson with the saddle senton. 50 trying to fight it off and rushes Stetson in the corner but BRG doesn’t let it continue and just keeping Barry on his corner and Cal on the offensive. Cal finally hits the tag, Barry going wild! Double cannonballs! Cal recovers, they go for the finish but Stetson won’t let it happen. Superkick from BRG, Dan ducks the Northern lariat! Superkick to Stetson. Okada roll and a bridge on BRG and Dan Barry gets the win!!!!
Winners: Locked & Loaded
Yup, @ItsDustinWaller & @LittleKylon join in on the welcome for the Stetson Ranch, as they very well should #WrestlingOpen pic.twitter.com/H5qnmVzB7q

Match 7: “The Big Boofa” Dezmond Cole vs “The Young Prodigy” Marcus Mathers
Banger alert. Cole has had an escalating who’s who of competition at Wrestling Open and Mathers just constantly delivers. The crowd isn’t split persay…they are cheering for both right out the gate. Mathers baits Cole in with a dance off and just gut kicks him. Cole tries a flying kick but Marcus catches him. Enziguri! Back and forth with reversals, Marcus finally starts landing chops and kicks. Cole dodges a moonsault. Hard spear in the corner! Slam and spring leg drop! Marcus dodges and hits a high cross body. Suplex to a kip up! Mathers with a kick reversal and hard German. Shining wizard! Kick out! Mathers is getting frustrated. He calls for the 450. Cole out and hits a sit out spine buster. He tries a spin kick, reversals, Boofa with a rolling DVD and a high orange for two. Split legged stunner from Cole! Destroyer from Mathers! 450 connects! Mathers with the jackknife pin and gets the win. Fan-damn-tastic.
Winner: Marcus Mathers

Dan Barry is right out here. He calls Mathers a generational talent. I see what he wants. After 22 years, he’s on the tail end of things and he needs a real test. Dan Barry wants Marcus Mathers in a rematch next week and he’s calling it HIS Last Stand. Gimme DAT. Let’s gooooooooo.

It’s World Class time!
Ultimo X is out here and definitely isn’t Alec Price. Can’t be. Bakabella has his wrestling gear on?!? He says “do you think I would choose anyone else?”. He tries to make fun of X and that just prompts X to come running….right into the waiting fist of Wrestling Open’s Mercenary, Brian Milonas. The Kingpin is Bakabella’s hired gun!
Match 8: Ultimo X vs “Kingpin” Brian Milonas
If Ultimo X wins the match tonight, Alex Price can be reinstated to fighting in Worcester, MA. But if he loses….he must unmask.
X hitting dropkicks right at the bell. Milonas catches him out of the air and hits a swinging sidewalk slam. Bakabella is very obviously staying out of this fight as the Kingpin starts unloading chop after chop into X’s chest. X tries a rope walk but Milonas destroys him with a chop. It’s all big boy moves and Pri….X is struggling with the big man. Milonas going for the mask. Jawbreaker! Milonas sent to the floor….Bakabella trying to help. Superkick off the apron! Milonas catches him and power bombs him on the apron. Milonas can’t seem to finish X and he is getting mad. He tries a sleeper suplex but X is out! Head scissors to the ropes! 619! (Do we call it a 781 here?) - bulldog! Swanton! Bakabella puts the foot on the rope! X isn’t putting up with this and he lays out Bakabella. Back in the ring, he hits the Surpri——Laotion Commotion! Ultimo X wins!
Winner: Ultimo X

I KNOW RIGHT?????
Main Event: “Big Bacon” Brad Hollister vs Bobby Orlando (w/ Bobby Jr)
It’s a match to decide who gets the advantage for their team in the Steel Cage Warfare showdown at The Last Stand, which looks to be a War Games style contest. Bobby was sick last week and so last match’s match is now this week’s match. It’s also announced that Bryce Donovan has broken his pinkie last week and is out. With Waves & Curls out too, what does this say for the T4 Summit at Wrestival?!? Bacon and Bobby slugging it out right away, both knowing the importance of getting win here tonight. Very back and forth, Bobby is brawling with Bacon but Brad is just an animal, landing big chops and maybe a few not entirely fair shots. Bobby with a neckbreaker out of nowhere. Two count. Fights off the German, fights out off the power slam, dive to the floor. He’s our mom!!!! Bacon tries to run away but Bobby chases him down with another dive. Brawling through the crowd, through the mercy area. Bacon starts beating Bobby with his own mercy. Damn. WTF is someone doing trying to climb into the ring. Someone clearly isn’t respecting the Code of Conduct. Stay in your correct spot, sir. Bobby grabs the mic to get the focus back on how he’s beating Hollister to hell and back. He tries a sick trick but falls into a German. Senton from Brad but he’s not making the pin. We don’t have a time limit here as we NEED a winner in this one. Big corner hip attack. Bobby firing back but gets cut in half with a clothesline. Snap duplex, float over, kickoff! Hollister going for the rear naked but Orlando reverses it. Backcracker! Both guys are wiped out. Bobby throwing hands! Bobby slam! Sick trick cutter! Kick out. Boooooo. Orlando with a power bomb! Brad aint down. Bobby misses the dab elbow! Power bomb! Jackhammer! Kick out! Brad’s mad. He hits the Inside out deadlift suplex but Bobby kicks out. Brad tripped up and chokes himself on the second, Bobby off the top! Dab elbow connects! Kick out! Back to the top, Brad fights off Bobby, headbutt, pops off into the jackhammer! Bobby’s out, Bobby almost forces a ref bump but uses the moment to hit a low blow. Nooooooooo! Bobby’s rolled up and damn it all to hell, Bacon gets the advantage for his team at Last Stand.
Winner: Brad Hollister
Dones is out here to pick the bones. Unloading on Bobby. Here come the Miracle Ones! They make the save as we go to black. It’s only a week to the Wrestival and this main event (and Worcester’s first cage match) is going to be wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiild! Until then!
