It’s time for NWA Power. We are back in the regular studio like last week, and the only audience is the other wrestlers on the different teams. Our commentary team are Joe Galli and Velvet Sky.
We have some brief promos from people who are a series of different teams for the Champions Series.
Trevor Murdoch and Rhett Titus vs Dak Draper and Mims
Rhett and Mims start off. They lock up collar and elbow and move to waist locks, arm bars, and headlocks. Rhett finally gets a deep arm drag for a take-down and then tags in Murdoch. He works over Mims with chops in the corner. MIms is whipped to the corner and he gets an elbow up to stop Murdoch. Murdoch is able to get a drop toe hold on Mims and hits a series of cross face blows. He pulls Mims up for more damage, but Mims is able to break free and slam Murdoch. He follows with a leaping splash. Mims can’t get the cover
Draper is tagged in and goes right to work. Draper, after working Murdoch in the corner and in the ropes, runs the ropes and tries for a leg takedown and Murdoch stomps him in the back of the head. Titus is tagged in and hits a leaping face buster for a two count. Draper tries to suplex Titus, but after a series of blocks, Titus escapes out the back and they run the ropes. Draper is able to catch Titus and Military presses him, but Titus is able to escape. Draper gets a series of strikes and kicks and covers for two.
Draper picks up Titus and tags in Mims. Mims starts a series of blows and then locks in a bear hug. Titus ties a series of escapes. But Mims carries him to his corner, so Draper can tag in. Draker butterflies the arms behind him and takes him down, following up with knee strikes to the back. Draper locks in the stretch muffler and starts to spin him. Titus grabs the ropes for a break. Mims is tagged in and Titus starts to fight his way free. Titus tries to dive over Mims, but Mims catches him and covers for a two count.
Draper is tagged in and Titus is able to get a sunset flip for a two count. Draper stops Titus from tagging out by grabbing him and hitting a gut buster. He goes to the top for a leaping attack, but Titus stops him with a drop kick.
Great timing on that.
Titus is able to crawl for the tag as does Draper, so Murdoch goes after Mims, but he goes out of the ring due to a low bridge, and Draper is clothesline over the top. Murdoch goes to the top and hits a bulldog from the top on an unsuspecting Mims for the pin and the win
Winners and getting 5 points for their team: Trevor Murdoch and Rhett Titus
Jax Dane vs Chris Adonis
They lock up and Adonis goes for the master loki immediately, and Dane goes to the outside. When they lock up again, Adonis goes for the master lock and they struggle to the corner. Dane breaks with a back elbow to Adonis’ face. He then locks on a headlock and cranks it on Adonis. Dane knocks Adonis across the ring with a shoulder tackle.
Dane hits a kick to the midsection and gets a side headlock. Adonis whips him off and trips him when he comes off the ropes. Adonis then peppers Dane with jabs. He then gets attacks in different corners until he mounts Dane for ten blows. They struggle and the ref comes in to break it up. Dane pushes the ref aside and hits an eye poke over the ref’s back.
Dane tries for a suplex, but Adonis reverses it and hits a suplex himself. Silvio grabs a mic and gets on the mic. Dane is able to use the distraction for a Samoan drop. He whips Adonis into the corner and then locks on the bear hug. Adonis has his hand drop twice, but then fires up and punches his way free. He hits a flying shoulder tackle, then a clothesline. He runs into a big boot from Dane in the corner.
Dane charges, but Adonis is able to get a spine buster for a two count. Adonis calls for the masterlock and Dane tries to block him and back him into the corner. Dane hits a clothesline and picks Adonis up for a full nelson. Adonis is able to muscle his way free and gets the Master Lock on Dane. Dane reverse kicks Adonis in the yam bag, and is DQed.
Winner via DQ and getting 3 points: Chris Adonis

Luke Hawx vs Alex Taylor
Hawx extends a hand and Taylor refuses to shake. They lock up and Hawx forces them back to the corner. Hawx extends his hand again. Taylor kicks his hand away. Hawx takes Taylor down and gets reversed as Taylor gets an arm bar. They work to their feet and go to the corner again. They run the ropes ending with Hawx slamming Taylor to the mat and then getting forearms and a back body drop for a two count.
Hawx gets a hardlock and Taylor forces them into the corner where he breaks free with elbows. They go to the opposite corner, and Taylor gets a knee to the gut and then pulls Hawx out of the ring to the floor. Taylor tosses Hawx into the ring and is able to ground and pound. He tosses Hawx into the ropes and nails him with a back elbow for a two count. Taylor gets a suplex for a one count. Taylor keeps up the attack in the corner. Hawx is able to escape a cradle shock and hits a spinning lep lariat and both men are down.
Both are up and Hawx gets blows and clotheslines. He slams Taylor and covers for two. Hawx puts Taylor on the top and gets knocked into the ropes, crotch first.Taylor tries for a senton, but misses. Taylor is able to then get the Cradle Shock for the pin and the win.
Winner and getting 5 points for his team: Alex Taylor
May Valentine is in the back with Jax Dane and Chris Silvio. She asks about their strategy in the tournament. Silvio says that the Master Lock should be banned and the series is about Dane, the best champion of all time.
Colby Carino vs AZ Cazana
Colby goes for a cannonball, but misses and Cazana slaps on a leg lock into the ropes, so they break. Colby gets tossed into the corner repeatedly, and when Colby tries to leave the ring, Cazana drags him back in and beats him down in the corner. Coblby si abel to finally get the boot up, and dodges a knee drop from Cazana. Colby is able to get a dragon screw inthe ropes and then grabs the leg and starts working on it.
Colby is able to get a DDT out of the corner after going after Cazana;s leg and gets a one count out of it. Colby goes back to work on Cazana's leg. Colby locks on a calf cutterm, but Cazana breaks out by grabbing Colby by the hair. Colby goes back to work on the leg, but Cazana breaks free and drops Colby. He tries for an elbow drop but Colby gets out of the way. Colby goes back to work on the leg and transitions into a half crab.
Cazana powers out and gets to his feet. They throw hands, and Cazana is able to get a knee bar. Colby tries to kick his way free, but it just annoys Cazana. Colby is able to get the ropes for a break. Cazana picks up Colby for a power bomb, but Colby gets them both to the ropes and dumps Cazana on the floor. Colby tries for a hurricanrana, and Cazana stops him and slams him into the apron, which, as we all know, is the hardest part of the ring.
Colby is tossed into the ring and Cazana tries for a stalling vertical suplex, but Colby escapes and turns it into a sleeper hold. He then turns it into the cross face chicken wing. Cazana passes out.
Winner by submission and earning 6 points: Colby Corino.
