Winner: Jon Moxley
This match had a lot of blood, and was disgusting about it. Sammy licking it off Mox, smearing it on himself and Tay kissing with blood on their faces. Just disgusting, and it added absolutely nothing to the match. Normally, I don’t like blood, but can tolerate it in matches where it adds to things. Like the Briscoes and FTR, I don’t think the blood WAS needed there, but I can see why it was used.
This time, it wasn’t needed, it was gross, it was unsafe with blood-borne disease, and it didn’t add anything to the match. In my mind, it took away from the match, because once it became about Sammy smearing Mox’s blood on himself, I no longer cared. I actively encourage people to skip this match and send a message that this kind of thing is not what we want or need.
Mox tells the camera he’s the best in the world. He then grabs a mic and says he told Adam Page where he would be and he ain’t waiting all night. Page hits a buckshot lariat on a security guard and he and Mox go back to fighting. They are pulled apart again.
Saraya gives comments on her mystery partner in Los Angeles, saying there's a ton of talent to choose from.
FTR comes to the ring. Cash says that last week sucked, not just because of their losses last week and Dax breaking his ass bone, but because they let the fans down. He puts over the fans and says this is the best year of their careers and the best year of his life. He then says two guys with daddy issues won’t be able to beat them next week.
Dax tells a story about his daughter telling him after the match at ROH that people like him, and she asked why. He said that they were going to make people feel, but the Gunn Boys ruined that. They will do to them what Daddy Ass should have done a long time ago and beat their ass.
Old school promo and I expect nothing less.
We then get a video package.
