Young Rock - S3 E4 “Night of the Chi-Chi’s”
The Rock and Randall are being driven to visit the Prime Minister to try and solve the coffee crisis. They arrive at his residence and the memorabilia room filled with Rock and other WWE collectibles. He sees the WrestleFest video game and makes him remember the last time he played it.
Bethlehem, PA 1988...
Ata feeds Dewey on her way to work. He’s getting ready to head off to college. Ata is working hard to make ends meet while Rocky is going out every night with the boys. Dewey is pissed. Once Rocky goes out again Dewey follows him a restaurant and asks why he’s out getting hangover nachos. Rocky explains he has a job cleaning up Chi-Chi’s over night. Dewey is playing the WrestleFest video game and Rocky says he’s in the game but he’s locked. Dewey gets mad his Dad won’t be straight with him. Dewey gets Rocky to tell the truth about why he stopped working for WWE.
Rocky & Dewey trade stories about when they lied to each other and their adventures as shop lifters. They go back to the kitchen and fry up chimichangas, and other various foods. Rocky tells Dewey about the “Lie Pyramid” and the levels of dishonesty.
Rocky asks Dewey “when he stopped looking up to him” and if it was when he started working flea markets. Dewey says it wasn’t anything in particular, he just realized Rocky wasn’t a superhero just a regular guy. This hurts Rocky and he stops talking. Dewey finally gets him to talk and they reconcile some more hard truths about Rocky’s parenting.
They get home and Ata is checking the mail. Rocky got his first check and it’s for $8000. Stunned he calls the manager (Jim O’Heir “Parks & Recreation”) who says one of the employee didn’t cash his checks so he gave Johnson all the other guy's back pay since he just left the restaurant in the lurch.
Randall asks The Rock if that’s a real story. He says it is and the money saved them at the moment. The episode ends with The Rock meeting the Prime Minister (Dawnn Lewis “A Different World”) as they discuss the evenings event.

S3 E5 “Five Days”
Cjelgjiughm (not a typo) 2033....
Randall and The Rock sample some of the coffee Cjelgjiughm is famous for. Reed the PM’s assistant tells them about the gala later. She gets a text and tells The Rock that PM Honig wants to speak to The Rock alone. Randall is shaking from having too much coffee.
PM Honig asks The Rock about the portrait of her in her office. She’s uncomfortable with the sudden fame the office brought her, as she was just a normal citizen last year. She asks The Rock what it was like for him.
Atlantic City - Monday Night RAW...
We go back to The Rock cutting a promo with The Nation and him asking Pat Patterson if the promo was good. Cut to a restaurant and Dwayne is telling Dany about it and how he has to wait until next week to see it he got over. They have a hard time getting their waitresses attention.
Dwayne can’t sleep or think about anything other than how the next show will be and is having anxiety. Ata, Rocky & Lia come to visit. Rocky has opened a gym and he asks Dwayne to come sign autographs. Dwayne decides to hit the road and pays a visit to Downtown Bruno on his way to Chicago.
At the show Pat gives Rock a pep talk and Vince tells him that the first match is important and to do well out there. Farooq says let’s go. They head towards the ring and the crowd is chanting “Rocky Sucks” but they’re having fun with it and he’s over.
Montage of show after show where the fans continue to love to hate him. Vince puts him in the main event vs Ken Shamrock. We see the introduction of “Know Your Role”, the Rock Bottom and People’s Elbow.
Dwayne gets to Rocky’s gym and there is a line around the block. He’s taken aback. Lia says she always knew he’d be a star. Dwayne & Rocky realize they fans calling them both “Rocky” is awkward. Dwayne & Bruno are at a bar and people keep coming up to talk to him. He misses the game but sees Dion Sander talking in the 3rd person planting a seed.
Dany & Dwayne are back at the same restaurant as in the beginning. The waitress is much more attentive. Fans come up and ask for an autograph. He gives it to them but Dany says he was rude to them. He feels terrible, goes over to the table apologizes and picks up their tab. The cuts a promo on them. Dany tells him that’s much better.
The Rock and PM Hoing talk with Randall and she asks Rock what happened the next week and we see a flashback of Rocky Maivia calling himself The Rock for the first time.
Young Rock airs Fridays on NBC and On Demand. Next weeks episode will be Christmas themed.
