ORIGINAL GLOW STAR URSULA HAYDEN AKA BABE THE FARMER'S DAUGHTER PASSES AWAY

PWInsider.com is saddened to report that Ursula Hayden, who performed as Babe the Farmer's Daughter in the original incarnation of David McLane's Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling and was a consultant on the Netflix GLOW series that aired several years back, recently passed away.  She was only 56 years old.

Having previously worked as a model and having won several teen beauty pageants, Hayden took part in a casting call for GLOW and was hired, performing most notably as Babe The Farmer's Daughter but also as Donna Matrix and The Princess of Darkness. After GLOW ran its course, she worked POWW as Goldie Ray.

Hayden actually purchased the rights and trademarks to the original GLOW in 2001 and was the owner of the video library from that point on. Hayden was involved in marketing and selling the GLOW footage on DVD and online and was heavily involved in the excellent GLOW documentary "GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling."

Hayden appeared on a number of TV series over the years, including Married...with Children and The Bachelor (as herself, mentoring contestants in a pro wrestling-themed segment) and representing GLOW on Family Feud in character as Babe.
