Vice has a report detailing scrapped media plans from the U.S. Army's Call of Duty e-sports squad that lists a planned sponsorship to spend $675,000 with WWE to market to GEN-Z youth. Many other big online entities and companies were mentioned in this report, including the now defunct G4, Paramount, IGN and Twitch streamers Plans were scrapped following Activision Blizzard coming under fire for a culture that promoted sexual harassment in the workplace. Microsoft is trying to purchase Activision Blizzard. But the deal has raised the ire of the FTC and the EU.
