On last night's episode of NXT, Shawn Michaels announced that there will be two "Iron Survivor Challenges" at the December 10 NXT Deadline Premium Live Event. There will be one match for the men and one for the women.
These 25 minutes matches will feature five competitors yet to be named. Two competitors will begin the match and the rest of the field will enter five-minute intervals until all competitors are in the match. A competitor can score points by earning a pinfall, submission, or disqualification.
Once a fall has been decided, the loser of the fall goes into a penalty box for 90 seconds. The winner is the one with the most points at the end of the time limit and will be named the new number-one contender for the NXT Men's and Women's Championship.
