The United States Champion, Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring.
We look back at the United States Title situation from last week’s show.
Seth welcomes everyone to Raw and he tells everyone who he is. Seth says he is still the United States Champion and then he cackles. Seth thanks Bobby. He says last week was crazy and wild. He put out an open challenge and he has competitors coming out of the woodwork.
People like Finn Balor, Mustafa Ali, Bobby Lashley, and Austin Theory, who tried to cash in his contract on this title. That didn’t work out too well for him and Seth cackles. Seth says he is sure that Austin will come out later and you can tell him how stupid he is. Seth says something is different about the title. The thing that is different is him. This is THE top prize on Monday nights. In the main event tonight, we are going to add to his legacy as US Champion he goes against a former friend and a former foe . . . Finn Balor.
Bobby Lashley comes out and he says he turned Selfie Boy into a punchline. The beating I gave you will continue until I get my United States Championship back.
Seth tells Bobby that you decided to take my soul from my body instead of my title. Maybe it has something to do with your loss at Crown Jewel against Brock Lesnar.
Mustafa Ali comes out and a referee is doing his best Jurassic World training.
Lashley tells Ali that the beatdown he gave him last week will pale in comparison to what I am going to do to you tonight. You need to leave before I hurt you.
Ali goes after Lashley but Lashley with an elbow and he sends Ali over the top rope to the floor.
Lashley says that is a message to anyone to comes after him to stop him from getting the United States Title back.
Ali leaps on Bobby’s back and Bobby sends Ali over the top rope to the floor.
Lashley says he doesn’t know if Ali is stupid or has guts. If you want an ass kicking, come in the ring.
Match Number One: Bobby Lashley versus Mustafa Ali
The bell rings and Ali with a drop kick. Lashley sends Ali into the turnbuckles and the floor. Ali escapes from Lashley trying to run him into the ring post and Lashley hits the post. Ali is sent into the time keeper’s area and then he leaps on Lashley’s back. Lashley runs Ali into the ring post. Lashley breaks the count and then he sends Ali over the announce table. Ali appears to have hurt his wrist and he barely gets back in the ring before the ten count. Lashley with a Dominator. Lashley with punches and kicks. Lashley blocks a tornado DDT and hits a choke slam. Ali tries to get back to his feet but he falls to the mat.
Lashley picks up Ali and hits another choke slam. The referee asks Ali if he wants to continue. Lashey misses a shoulder in the corner when Ali floats over and Ali with a tornado DDT. Lashley with a spear and he sets for the full nelson.
Ali passes out.
Winner; Bobby Lashley
Cathy is in the back and she is with Mia Yim, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, and AJ Styles. She asks about retaliation.
AJ says now that they have evened the odds, they are not worried. Luke says he is the reason why Mia agreed to team up with them because he has a way with the womenfolk. AJ says this has to end and they have been a thorn in his side since Wrestlemania. He wants a one on one match against Finn at Survivor Series. Karl says that Mia will take care of business tonight.
Mia says she is going to the ring so she tells them to chill until she is done and they can celebrate.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Mia Yim versus Tamina
As the match starts, Dominik and Rhea make their way into the aisle and Tamina hits Mia from behind and hits a splash into the corner. Tamina goes up top and misses a frog splash. Mia with forearms and kicks. Tamina misses a clothesline and Mia with a head scissors take down and a Yakuza kick. Mia with an Irish whip and forearm. Tamina with an uppercut while Bayley, Dakota, and Iyo watch MONITOR in the back. Mia with Eat Defeat for the three count.
Winner: Mia Yim
After the match, Rhea gets on the apron and she only teases entering the ring and she decides to go back to the floor.
Matt Riddle is playing with his bongos int eh back and he walks up to Cathy.
Cathy asks about Elias and Riddle says Elias is working on getting their gigs ready.
Chad Gable and Otis show up and Chad with a Shoooosh. Riddle responds with a BRO and they go back and forth until Chad stops it. Chad says the only thing more ridiculous than you clowns being in band is you being a tag team. I will put you down like my boy Otis did to Elias last week.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Mia Yim walks in the back and Dakota, Iyo, and Bayley.
Dakota asks how could someone as talented as Mia could be forgotten for so long since she is the first to stand up to Rhea. Dakota says they decided to tell people who they are. Bayley says they can join them at War Games.
Mia says she has no problems with Bianca, Asuka, and Alexa.
Bayley tells her to thinks about it and Iyo tells her not to think too long.
AJ, Karl, and Luke show up and the Bayley Bunch walk away.
Match Number Three: Chad Gable (with Otis) versus Matt Riddle
Gable with a waist lock and take down into an ankle lock and front face lock. Gable backs Riddle into the corner and pushes him on the break. Gable with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Gable with a dragon screw leg whip. Riddle with kicks and Gable with another dragon screw. Riddle with a kick and a gutwrench suplex. Riddle goes for a back senton but Chad gets his knees up. Gable runs into an elbow and Riddle goes to the turnbuckles and Otis knocks off the top step and then gets on the bottom one and distracts Riddle. Gable with a German superplex and both men are down.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Gable works on the ankle. Gable with a kick to the knee and Riddle with a fisherman’s buster to Gable. They exchange forearms. Riddle with the advantage and he kicks Gable into the ropes and hits a jumping knee. Riddle with a forearm into the corner and another one. Riddle with an exploder and a back senton. Riddle misses a kick and Gable with a rollup. Riddle with a power bomb and a jumping knee for a near fall. Riddle sets for Bro Derek but Gable counters and he applies an ankle lock.
Riddle rolls through to escape. Riddle locks in a triangle on Gable and Gable goes for a power bomb but Riddle escapes. Gable with a wrist clutch DDT for a near fall. Gable goes up top and lands on his feet on a moonsault when Riddle moves. Riddle with an IEDDT. Riddle sets for the RKO but he kicks Otis from the apron. Gable with a rollup and Riddle lands on his feet. Gable with a back slide and his feet on the ropes along with help from Otis for the three count.
Winner: Chad Gable
We go to the locker room where Baron Corbin, John Layfield, and another person are playing poker.
John is offered some Kentucky bourbon and he tells the person to leave.
John says he has the finest Ugandan whiskey.
Akira Tozawa sits down at the table and John tells Tozawa they are busy.
Tozawa says he plays poker.
Tozawa puts on sunglasses and John asks him if he ever played poker before or knows the rules and Tozawa says he has not and does not.
Miz makes his way to the ring and it is his neighborhood.
