MLW FUSION REPORT: FATU IN ACTION, DURAN AND HOLLIDAY SING, AND MORE

Your announcers are Joe Dombrowski and Rich Bocchini.

We begin with a recap of Battle Riot IV.

We see Jacob Fatu, Juicy Finau, and Lance Anoa’i arriving at the building. They are greeted by one of Cesar’s masked assistants. Micro Man shows up and punches the masked man in his ding ding.

They enter the building.

Match Number One: Myron Reed (with Mr. Thomas) versus Lince Dorado versus La Estrella versus Arez for the MLW Middleweight Championship

Arez goes after Estrella while Reed goes after Dorado. Dorado is sent to the floor. Reed kicks Estrella. Arez and Reed Irish whip Estrella. Estrella floats over Arez and goes after Reed, but Reed moves out of the way. Reed with a kick and Arez with a chop. Reed chops Estrella. Estrella with a handspring double back elbow followed by a suicide dive into Arez and Reed and lands in the crowd. Dorado with a take down on Estrella. Dorado with a boot to the back when Estrella drops down. Estreela with a handstand head scissors. Estrella with knees in the corner but Dorado with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and clothesline to Estrella.

Arez returns to the ring and he catches Dorado on his shoulders and kicks Dorado. Dorado with a forearm to the back. Arez with a back elbow and a forearm to the back of the head and a siries of kicks. Arez with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Reed kicks Arez and yells at Arez. Reed with a super kick on Dorado and Arez pulls Reed off. Reed pushes Rez and Dorado with a double drop kick. Dorado with a punch to Reed. Dorado with a handspring kick that knocks Arez off the apron to the floor and Dorado with a cutter to Reed.

Estrella goes up top and misses a frog splash. Arez misses a swanton when Estrella moves. Dorado misses a frog splash when Arez moves. Reed misses a springboard 450 splash and Dorado with a Fujiwara arm bar on Reed. Estrella with an ankle lock to Reed. Arez with a thrust kick to Estrella and Dorado. Dorado and Arez exchange chops. They go back and forth. Dorado with an uppercut and Arez with a kick and Arez is sent to the apron. Arez with a series of kicks from the apron and he goes for a sunset flip back into the ring but Dorado rolls through. Arez with a kick and a rollup into a reverse cloverleaf. Arez with a DDT to Estrella while he takes Dorado to the mat in the cloverleaf and adds a body scissors. Reed with a springboard leg drop to Arez to force him to release the hold. Reed gets a near fall on Arez. Reed gets Dorado on his shoulders and Dorado gets to his feet. Reed with a matrix and enzuigiri to Dorado. Arez goes for a supelx but Reed with stundog millionaire. Reed springboards over Dorado and Arez and tries for a double head scissors but they block it. They hit a double buckle bomb and Reed goes to the floor.

Arez with an Irish whip and Dorado sends him to the apron. Estrella with a forearm to knock Arez to the floor. Estrella with boots to Dorado. Dorado goes for a power slam and a suicide dive to Arez. Dorado with a suicide dive to Reed. Dorado kicks Estrella and then goes up top. Dorado with a cross body and Estrella holds on and rolls through for a near fall. Estrella with a flip rana for a near fall on Dorado. Reed with a springboard double cutter and he gets the three count on Estrella.

Winner: Myron Reed (retains championship)

Myron is interviewed after the match and he is asked what is next.

Reed says Boomaye many times and he says he is the greatest of all time. Send them from anywhere and I am washing them like dishes and sending them back where they come from.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Cesar Duran.

We see him on the phone and he says they can do that in Mexico. He says he will talk to Bauer later and get back to him.

Duran yells at his assistant for standing behind him and creeping him out.

Richard Holliday and Alicia Atout show up and Alicia tells Cesar that he owes Holliday an apology.

Cesar says he is trying to center himself and find some zen/karma/peace and he says that they are harshing his mellow.

Alicia tells Cesar that he has to show some gratitude and Cesar wants to know why.

Holliday says that is the least he can show him. He says he saved Cesar from Hammerstone. Holliday says that Hammerstone was going to break you in half and I bloodied him and sent him to the hospital. How much blood do I have to spill to show that I deserve to be the champion.

Cesar says Holliday gets his title opportunity in two weeks. The match will be Falls Count Anywhere in New York City.

After Cesar sings for Holliday, he gets serious and tells Holliday if he fails this time, it will be his last time.

Holliday says there will be no failure and he leaves with Alicia.

Cesar gives a chain to one of his masked assistants and he tells him to find that little goblin and end Micromania once and for all.

The assistant is hesitant to do anything.

Cesar asks him if he is weak and then he gives the chain to him and pushes him away.

We have a video for EJ Nduka.

Match Number Two: KC Navarro versus Mini Abismo Negro

KC offers his hand and Abismo refuses.

We go to commercial.

We are back and KC with a satellite head scissors and running uppercut. KC with a forearm and snap mare followed by a leap frog neck snap. Abismo misses a stomp and Abismo with a rollup for a near fall. KC with a drop kick that sends Abismo to the floor followed by a suicide dive. KC goes up top and Abismo trips him and kicks KC on the turnbuckles. Abismo with a chop and he sets for a Frankensteiner and hits it. Abismo gets a near fall. Abismo kicks KC in the corner.

KC blocks a suplex but Abismo with a knee and suplex for a near fall. KC with punches and a jumping forearm. KC with a satellite DDT for a near fall. KC with a chop and forearm. Abismo fires back and they continue the exchange. Abismo with a chop and kick. He gets KC on his shoulders and gives KC an airplane spin followed by a Michinoku Driver. Abismo goes up top and misses twisting moonsault. KC with a running Asai DDT for the three count.

Winner: KC Navarro

We go to an update on Alex Hammerstone’s medical condition.

The x-rays were negative but he suffered a rib cartilage fracture. The doctor says he might have issues recovering for two to three months.

We take a look at Mance Warner’s return at Battle Riot.

Sam Leterna catches up to Mance while he is drinking with a bunch of people.

Sam asks Mance where has he been since his last time in MLW.

Mance says he was in Canada and he feuded with a bear. Then he went to Mexico and he loved it there. He was told he couldn’t come back into the country. Mance says this is where he is. He says he wants to talk about Mads Krugger.

He says Mads is a monster. You are a big tall man and I will find a way to knock you down. Mance says he will take Mads head off and get blood all over his boots.

We go to Real 1 and he says Fatu, everyone knows he doesn’t talk to Jakes and we have a situation. He says no one wants to hear from the kid in the high chair. He says Fatu comes from a long line of bitches. He calls Fatu a poor man’s Rikishi. He says that Fatu is an above ground pool. He says he is a megastar. He says he will discombobulate Fatu.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Savio Vega walks in the back with Lince Dorado.

Savio sees Budd Heavy down in a room and there is a business card on him.

We go to Jacob Fatu talking to Micro Man. Fatu says Micro Man is right about that investment and he will check back in on him.

The masked assistant shows up with the chain and Fatu comes back and Fatu wants to make sure that he isn’t going to hit Micro Man and the masked man runs away.

Match Number Three: Clara Carreras versus Scarlett Bordeaux

They exchange some words before the match and Scarlett with a kick before the referee starts the match. Scarlett with a forearm and shoulders in the corner. Scarlett with kicks and forearms. Clara escapes and hits a splash in the corner. Clara with kicks and a snap mare followed by a cartwheel and drop kick for a near fall. Clara with a reverse chin lock. Scarlett with an elbow and Irish whip. Scarlett with a splash into the corner. Scarlett with a running hip into the corner. Scarlett with a DDT and then she hits the Scarlett Letter for the three count.

Winner: Scarlett Bordeaux

Taya Valkyrie joins Sam on the stage for an interview.

She asks Taya what are her thoughts on Scarlett coming to the company. Taya says she is happy to be in New York. Having a woman like Scarlett in this division is what MLW needs to grow it full of talent, beauty, charm, and bad assery.

Sam asks if we will see match between them.

Taya says anyone who wants to challenge her . . .

Brittany Blake attacks Taya from behind and chokes Taya. Referees pull Blake off Taya and then Blake gets free and attacks Taya.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at Davey Richards being attacked last week on the stage by Myron Reed, Alex Kane, and Mr. Thomas.

Alex Kane stomps on the ground and Myron Reed pops up, acting like Davey Richards telling him to stop.

Kane says he used to look up to Davey but then you quit on him, your dreams, and yourself. You will tap out next week because your return is all smoke and mirrors.

Next week Davey Richards faces Alex Kane for the Middleweight Championship, and Matt Cross faces Killer Kross.

We go to comments from Jacob Fatu about his match.

Fatu says he is the real one who threw your punk ass out in Battle Riot. You eliminated Lance and Big Juice but things changed when you got in my face.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four: Jacob Fatu versus Real 1

Fatu is attacked from behind with a pipe.

NZO takes the mic and he says if you are not S-O-F-T, you will come in the ring and fight him like a man.

Fatu head butts a member of security and then tells the referee to start the match.

NZO goes for the leg and he punches Fatu in the corner. NZO kicks Fatu in the injured leg. NZO dives at the knee and takes Fatu down. NZO hyper-extends the knee and then puts the leg in the ropes. NZO with kicks to the leg. NZO sends the leg into the ring post. NZO sets for a figure four leg lock around the ring post. NZO goes up top and he comes off the turnbuckles but is met with a Fatu drop kick. NZO with a kick to the ding ding and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Jacob Fatu (by disqualification)

After the match, NZO kicks the referee in the ding ding and punches Fatu but Fatu punches back.

Security comes to the ring to separate them and NZO gets to the floor. Fatu goes up top and hits a splash onto security and referees because NZO knew better and got out of the way.

We go to credits.
