WWE RAW REPORT: A TITLE CHANGE, A CASH IN, WAR GAMES IS STARTING TO TAKE SHAPE, SOMEONE TO COUNTER RHEA, AND MORE

WWE Men’s Tag Team Champions, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa make their way to the ring.

Jey says the Bloodline is now in your city. Jimmy says on Saturday, at Crown Jewel, Roman Reigns SMASHED Logan Paul and they SMASHED the Brawling Brutes.

We take a look at a photo of the Bloodline at the end of the night from Crown Jewel.

Jey says they will be facing the New Day on Friday. The New Day is the longest reigning tag team champions. Jey says they will be the newest, longest reigning tag team champs.

The New Day interrupt.

Kofi says the Usos are getting ahead of themselves. Kofi wants everyone to congratulate the Usos on their victory on Saturday.

Woods asks how are they feeling.

Jimmy says they have a little private jet lag.

Woods says in four days, you will see the longest reigning WWE tag team champions defending their reign against the current tag team champions. Woods says they will become champions again and their reign of 473 days will stay intact.

Jimmy says they gave the New Day props. You are record breakers and broke down barriers. Jey says they have won multiple titles. They have Booty-O’s and Up Up Down Down. Jimmy asks if Wilkes-Barre is proud of the New Day.

You must be proud to be the second best tag team in WWE.

Woods says the Usos failed to remember that the New Day has the record and you are chasing us. You are chasing the guys who changed tag team wrestling. Y’all had people who coddled you and taught you how to do this. You got tryouts because of your name. You built your legacy off the backs of your cousins, uncles, fathers, and grandfathers. We built our reputation on our own.

Jimmy says you don’t know the pressure because of their family.

Woods tells Jimmy and Jey not to tell them about pressure. Pressure is wondering if you are going to be fired in catering. Pressure is putting together something outside of WWE to get noticed. Pressure is forming the top three man group in WWE.

These people know that pressure turned them into diamonds.

Jimmy says if you want to talk about diamonds in your crown? The real kings have the crown now. Jey says they are on his shoulders. If the Usos didn’t forfeit that match, there would have never been Kofi-Mania. He tells Kofi that he is welcome for having his kids run around the ring with him. He tells Kofi to stay home with his kids.

Kofi asks what kind of father would he be if he told his kids he forfeited his title. Having the record means so much more to him. They started to preach positivity after winning the title. It is when they would come to work to fight to obtain some success only to be told that they sucked. It represents a time that might be the last time that the New Day was whole. We elevated you in the process. We will not forfeit this record to you . . .

Matt Riddle interrupts and comes to the ring.

Riddle apologizes for interrupting even if he did.

Riddle says him and Elias are forming a band and . . .

Jimmy tells Riddle to shut up.
Riddle says he likes to sit back, relax, and hit the bong. Riddle asks Woods and Kofi if they would like to hit the bong. Riddle asks the Bloodline if they want to hit his bong.

Riddle says he gets the strong, silent type from Solo. Jimmy hits the bongos and Riddle tells Jimmy about tap, tap, pass.

Riddle asks Jey and Jey is not interested.

Riddle says no man slaps his bong. He suggests a six man tag match.

Match Number One: Matt Riddle, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods versus Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa

 

Jimmy with a kick and head butt to Riddle followed by a chop. Riddle floats over and kicks Jimmy. Riddle with a gutwrench suplex and Woods tags in and he kicks Jimmy in the corner. Kofi tags in and kicks Jimmy. Riddle tags in and kicks Jimmy. Kofi tags back in and he kicks Jimmy. Woods tags in and Kofi with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Jey tags in and connects with a forearm to Kofi. Jey with a shoulder tackle. Kofi with a back elbow to Jey for a near fall. Woods tags in and hits a double sledge off the turnbuckles. Woods with an arm bar and he gets a near fall with a rollup. Riddle tags in. Riddle with a kick to the chest and a forearm. Riddle blocks a kick but Jey with an enzuigiri. Riddle with a body scissors to send Jey over the top rope to the floor. Jimmy distracts the referee and Solo with a forearm to stop Riddle.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jimmy and Jey give Riddle a double choke slam for a near fall. Jimmy punches Riddle in the corner. Jimmy with a running hip into the corner and he gets a near fall. Solo tags in and he kicks Riddle. Solo with head butts and a leaping leg drop. Jey tags in and connects with a thrust kick to the midsection. Riddle with forearms in the corner but Jey stops Riddle from making the tag. Riddle with a suplex and both men are down.

Solo tags in and he stops Riddle but Riddle with a jumping knee and he tags Woods in. Woods with a kick to the knee. Kofi with kicks and then he tags in Woods and Kofi with a kick and Woods with a sliding clothesline. Kofi with a splash and Woods with a fist drop for a near fall. Kofi with a shoulder from the apron and Solo with a kick to Woods. Kofi with a cross body for a near fall. Kofi kicks Solo and hits a Boom drop. Jey misses a forearm and Kofi kicks Jey off the apron. Solo with a uranage to Woods. Solo with a forearm that knocks Kofi off the apron into the announce table. Solo slams Kofi’s head into the announce table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Solo with a chin lock on Kofi. Kofi with elbows and a sunset flip but Solo does not go over. Solo with a leg drop to Kofi. Solo gets a near fall. Jimmy tags in and they connect with a double head butt on Kofi. Jey tags in and Jimmy with a back breaker and Jey with a chop off the turnbuckles. Jey gets a near fall. Solo tags in and connects with a head butt. Solo runs into boots from Kofi and Kofi kicks Solo again. Kofi with a tornado DDT. Riddle and Jey tag in and Riddle with kicks to Jey and Jimmy. Riddle with a Pele kick to Jey and a jumping knee to Jimmy. Riddle with a forearm to Jey and a knee to Solo. Riddle with an exploder to Jimmy. Riddle with a forearm and eventually hits an exploder on Jey. Riddle with aback sentons to Jimmy and Jey. Riddle with a kick to Jey and a power bomb to Jey followed by a knee to the head for a near fall.

Riddle goes to the turnbuckles and misses a moonsault but rolls through. Jey with a super kick and a pop up neck breaker for a near fall. Jey goes up top and Jimmy tags in. Jey is caught in a triangle by Riddle. Jimmy with a frog splash but Woods breaks up the cover. Woods with a kick to Solo and then he hits a rolling elbow on Jey. Solo sends Woods to the floor and Woods pulls Solo to the floor. Solo sends Woods over the announce table. Solo punches Kofi on a suicide dive attempt and he sends Kofi into the ring steps. Riddle with a kick to Solo and a twisting Asai Moonsault. Jimmy with a suicide dive to Riddle. Riddle with a kick to Jimmy and an IEDDT. Solo makes the blind tag while Riddle hits an RKO on Jimmy. Solo with a uranage on Riddle for the three count.

Winners: Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa

We take a look back at Crown Jewel with a video package.

John Bradshaw Layfield makes his way to the ring and we go to commercial.

John says from the Budokan to the O2 to Madison Square Garden, I have sold out every arena. This is not one of them. Why would anyone book this arena. John wants everyone to get up to welcome Baron Corbin.

Match Number Two: Baron Corbin (with John Layfield) versus Cedric Alexander

Corbin runs Alexander into the corner and connects with kicks and punches. Corbin with forearms to the back. Corbin with a clothesline for a near fall. Corbin punches Alexander but Cedric drop kicks Corbin into the turnbuckles. Alexander with a missile drop kick and forearm in the corner. Alexander with a Neuralizer that sends Corbin to the floor. Cedric with a suicide dive and punches to Corbin. They return to the ring and Corbin blocks a slingshot move into End of Days for the three count.

Winner: Baron Corbin

Seth Rollins ‘dances’ in the hallway as we go to commercial.
