WWE MAKING YOU MAD IN A GOOD WAY, PUNK’S COMMENTS WERE A BIG DEAL, INJURIES IN AEW ARE TO BE EXPECTED AND MORE

A while back I asked the question about who the backstage version of the Undertaker for AEW should be and I asked if Sting was a possible candidate. Now, I feel compelled to ask, where is Sting? What is his status with AEW?  I have to say that his pairing with Darby Allin was pretty damn good, despite getting lost in the shuffle for a while... But then something happened during the two or three months prior to his current absence; it was like the Sting from 25 years ago suddenly appeared. He seemed like he was having a blast doing rail jumping spots onto tables, and the fans were eating it up and remembered why he is an icon, THE ONE AND ONLY STING!  Is he going to be back? I feel like he still has a swan song left to be sung.

He is still with the company and I believe he will be back in the ring.  He’s 63 years old and I hope it’s just a case of them getting the most out of him and not overusing him.  It gets harder to travel on a weekly basis when you get holder, and that doesn’t even take into account the bumps.

Is it a good sign that I'm pissed off at what Jey Uso is doing with Sami Zayn like when he pulled out Sami during the match against Butch and Ridge, on the level I was pissed off at The Sopranos ending? I feel it is because that's how invested I am in it.

That’s what it’s all about to me, getting invested in storylines and characters.  That is what makes the matches relevant and impactful.

On another site, it was reported that CM Punk's outlook on what he said/did at the All Out scrum was "No big deal".  Since when is making such harsh public statements against the management of the company that just made you champ, dismissing the new top contender in a blow off sentence, and saying a former World Champ has done nothing in their career not a "Big deal"?

I think Punk knows what he did was a big deal for sure.  With that said, it’s a company where a guy went on national TV in Hangman Page and swerved him in an interview.  It’s a company where MJF went on TV and shot on the owner, calling him a mark.  I could go on.  While I think Punk knows what he said was a big deal, you could also make the case that it’s par for the course in AEW to do things like that.

What are your thoughts about Tony letting wrestlers do suicide dives and piledrivers? Weren’t those banned in WWE?

Yes, they were because they are dangerous moves.  Tony should ban them but he allows his talents to do a lot of things that he shouldn’t.  Which leads to…

Why are there so many concussions in AEW? Matt Hardy, Bryan Danielson, Jeff Hardy, Britt Baker, Adam Cole, and now Hangman Page; all big time stars losing time to concussions. You never hear about this many concussions in WWE, New Japan, Impact, or anywhere else.

It comes down to Tony letting his people do dangerous things and moves that they aren’t able to do safely.  The data doesn’t lie, as you mentioned above.  And that doesn’t take into account all of the other injuries that happen there.  WWE is much better to its talent in this regard, for sure.
