NJPW Rumble On 44th Street Live Coverage - The Palladium in Times Square

House Of Torture (Yujiro Takahashi & Sho) vs. Chaos (Yoh & Rocky Romero)

The match begins with Romero and Yoh jumping their opponents before the bell rings, Yoh battles Sho in the ring while Romero and Takahashi battle on the arena floor. Romero hits the ring to double team Sho alongside Yoh, Romero goes after Takahashi again while Yoh works over Sho. Sho and Yoh briefly trade some hair pulls until Takahashi drags Yoh out of the ring, Sho then hits a trapped Romero with a penalty kick from the ring apron. Sho gets back in the ring and he works over the arm of Yoh, Takahashi tags in and he drops Yoh before landing a basement drop kick for a near fall. Takahashi follows up by trapping Yoh in the ropes before landing a boot to his face, Sho tags back in and Yoh fights back against him until Sho nails him with some kicks. Yoh fights back again and he nails Sho with a neck breaker, Romero tags in and he quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Romero traps Sho in the ropes before landing a middle rope knee drop for a near fall, Romero then hits Sho with a striking combo. 

Sho recovers and he uses the ref as a shield before hitting Romero with a knee strike, Yoh returns and he works with Romero to hit Sho with a double knee strike. Takahashi interferes and that allows Sho to hit Romero with a spear, Takahashi tags in and he hits Romero with a clothesline followed by a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall. Romero fights back to hit both opponents with Forever Clotheslines, Takahashi grabs his cane and Romero avoids getting hit with it. Romero rolls up Takahashi and Takahashi sends him into a wrench shot from Sho, Takahashi catches Romero in a roll up for a three count.

Winners: House Of Torture (Yujiro Takahashi & Sho)

After the match, the House Of Torture continue attacking Chaos until Lio Rush makes the save.

NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Championship: Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) (c) vs. The Motor City Machineguns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. LA Dojo (Kevin Knight & The DKC)

The match begins with DKC working over the arm of Fletcher and Fletcher does the same to him, DKC drops Fletcher before wrenching away on his leg. DKC transitions to a headlock on Fletcher and Fletcher gets free before eating a snap mare, Fletcher recovers and he hits DKC with a shoulder tackle. Davis comes in as DKC sends Fletcher out of the ring, Knight nails Davis with a splash before a massive brawl breaks out between the teams. Shelley drags Knight out of the ring before Sabin nails him with a penalty kick from the ring apron, Aussie Open and The MCMG battle each other inside of the ring. Aussie Open hits The MCMG with the battering ram before sending them into the LA Dojo team, the battle spills to the arena floor before Aussie Open uses The MCMG to hit the LA Dojo with another battering ram. Fletcher works over DKC after he is thrown back into the ring, Davis tags in and he corners DKC before landing a few strikes. Davis gets DKC out of the corner before landing a few chops, DKC fights back and Davis quickly slams him before landing a senton for a near fall. 

DKC fights back again and Davis sends him out of the ring, Fletcher then slams DKC on the ring apron so Davis can get a near fall on him. Fletcher tags in and DKC makes him accidentally hit Davis, Knight tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team. Knight goes for a DDT and Fletcher blocks it before double teaming him alongside Davis, Knight fights back and he uses a rana to send Fletcher into Davis for a near fall. Fletcher uses a super kick to knock Knight out of the ring, Davis and Fletcher double team Knight on the arena floor before doing so again in the ring for a near fall. Aussie Open goes for their finisher on Knight and Knight counters to send Davis out of the ring, The MCMG hit the ring and they clean house against both teams. Sabin and Shelley double team the LA Dojo team after getting Aussie Open out of the ring, Sabin hits Knight with a DDT after Davis kicks him in the head first. Fletcher returns and he cracks Shelley with a super kick from out of nowhere, The MCMG clear the ring before LA Dojo return to clear them out of the ring and land stereo suicide dives, DKC and Sabin take their battle into the ring before Knight hits Sabin with a DDT for a near fall.

Knight goes for a Boston Crab and Sabin gets free before cornering Knight, The MCMG set up for Skull & Bones before DKC breaks it up. Knight then catches Sabin in a roll up for a near fall, Sabin recovers and he drops kicks a springboarding Knight. Everybody from all the teams hit the ring and they all take turns taking each other out, Knight again catches Sabin in a roll up before getting double teams by The MCMG. Sabin and Shelley then hit Knight with a double fisherman buster suplex for a three count.

Winners: The Motor City Machineguns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin), your new NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions

- Alex Coughlin makes his way to the ring and he gets the microphone, Coughlin calls out JR Kratos for the comments he has made about him in recent months on NJPW Strong. Coughlin issues a warning to both the NJPW and NJPW USA locker rooms, Coughlin hints that he’ll compete in the NJPW World Tag League ‘22. 

NJPW Strong Openweight Championship: Fred Rosser (c) vs. Jonathan Gresham 

The match begins with Rosser backing Gresham into the corner before missing a chop attempt, Rosser misses another chop before eating one from Gresham. Gresham trips up Rosser before going after his arm, Rosser gets up and Gresham briefly gets him back down with a headlock. Rosser goes after the arm of Gresham before sending him out of the ring, Gresham quickly recovers and he gets back in the ring. Rosser and Gresham have a test of strength that ends with Gresham taking Rosser down, Rosser gets back up and he drags Gresham to the ring apron. Gresham trips up Rosser before applying a figure four leg lock on him, Rosser falls to the arena floor and Gresham holds onto the figure four leg lock. Gresham releases the hold before hitting Rosser with a dragon screw leg whip, Gresham again looks for the figure four and Rosser sends him into the barricade before landing a back body drop on the arena floor. Rosser gets Gresham back in the ring before cornering him and landing strikes, Rosser drops Gresham in the corner before landing multiple hip attacks. Rosser looks for the STF on Gresham and Gresham makes it to the ropes, Gresham makes it back to his feet before exchanging strikes with Rosser. 

Gresham gets dazed during the exchange before recovering and nailing Rosser with a drop kick to the knee, Gresham keeps Rosser down while applying an inside grapevine to him. Gresham and Rosser exchange more strikes while their legs remain tied up, Gresham regains control with the submission and Rosser gets to the ropes. Rosser recovers to get a charging Gresham to the ring apron, Rosser then drops Gresham on the hardest part of the ring with a back suplex. Rosser gets Gresham back in the ring and Gresham immediately attacks his injured knee, Gresham quickly reapplies the figure four leg lock to Rosser. Rosser eventually makes it to the ropes to break the submission from Gresham, Rosser fights back and he drops Gresham for a near fall. Rosser looks for a slam and Gresham defends before exchanging strikes with him in the middle of the ring, Gresham then hits Rosser with an enziguri followed by a German suplex for a near fall. Gresham follows up by landing the Bayonet on Rosser for multiple near falls, Rosser recovers and he nails a charging Gresham with a lariat for a near fall.

Rosser follows up by hitting Gresham with a plethora of clothesline smashes, Rosser then hits Gresham with the Sidewinder for a three count.

Winner: Fred Rosser, still your NJPW Strong Openweight Champion
