Match 1: “The Young Prodigy” Marcus Mathers vs Dan Barry

Both of these guys can be considered “Good match machines” so I am stoked to see what they do together. Mathers with a spin and a handshake before this test of his rising skill. Dan takes the arm and drags the kid down, Mathers reverses the hold but Barry has an answer for that too. Dan Barry off the ropes but Marcus is out quicking him, diving neckbreaker sends Dan to the floor. Marcus tries to capitalize but Barry throws him into the ropes, slingshot senton back into the ring! Sitout spin bomb for two! Dan Barry tries a sharpshooter! He sits into it deep and slides right into a rear choke. Rope break, trading chops on the corner, cutter off the top and we have a double down. Barry kicked to the floor! Moonsault off the corner to the floor! Powerbomb for two! Mathers says it’s time…Barry dodges and hits a pop up X plex! Sick move. Dan Barry takes him up too again but Mathers fights it off, trading kicks and elbows. Mathers hits a corkscrew facebuster for the win! This was good stuff.

Winner: Marcus Mathers

Taylor brings his tag partners in Prolific to Wrestling Open and their cohesion instantly shows as they beat on Lyon early. Jay with a shot to the throat and tag to Midas. Huge powerslam and Wolf with a snap blockbuster for two. Dones calls a team meeting as they need to regroup. Isaiah takes the arm and tries to triangle the arm….Mane Event taking liberties while the ref is distracted by an angry Taylor. Wolf taking a beating through multiple tags. Double stomp to the back from Lyon. Midas tries to keep it going but Isaiah blasts a knee to the face. Tag to the big boy. Dones taking punishment in the comeback as Tyree running a train of erryone. Lyon tries to break a pin but elbow drops Dones! Tag to Marquee! He goes for a shoulder breaker but Midas takes out the knee of Marquee and gets the pin with feet on the ropes. Boooooo!

Winners: Dones & Mane Event

Bam goes right to the hair, Bryce escapes and this turns into a slugfest. Hard shots back and forth until Bam spikes Bryce with a spine buster. Bryce out and gets Bam into a tree of woe. Running dropkick! Bay with a slingshot back into the ring, kick to the head for two! Bryce endures the beating, kicks free! Big clothesline! Flying strike to the head, black hole slam connect and anaconda Vice gets the tap in a little under five minutes!

Winner: Bryce Donovan

Match 4: JGeorge & VBU (Dante Drago & Jack Tomlinson) vs La Fiesta (Clara Carreras, Jos A & Jos B)

The video boys try to ambush La Fiesta but it goes very poorly for them. Drago wants to dance with La Chica? She takes him down and he eats feet. JGeorge distracts the ref and Clara eats a knee from behind. Clara taking a triple team in the corner. Clara trying to escape but she keeps getting pulled back. VBU miscommunication! Jos A is in! Full Nelson slam! Airplane spin to a TKO on Drago! Tomlinson pulls down Jos B, preventing the finish. They try a triple backpack splash but miss! Jos B is in, JGeorge dropped with an A2B to get the win for La Fiesta!

Winners: La Fiesta

Match 5: Reid Walker vs Austin Luke (Marcus Mathers special referee)

Wasted Youth comes to blows today in this grudge match. They test each other early and feel it out but Luke hot shots Reid and takes control. Walker looking rocked and Mathers is checking on him but Luke keeps the pressure on. Luke getting in Marcus’ face as Walker won’t  back down. Good back and forth as Walker tries to rally. Walker tosses into Mathers and his back is turned. Walker out of nowhere with a low blow! What?!? Walker puts a sleeper on an Austin Luke goes to sleep. What just happened?

Winner: Reid Walker

Marcus holds his arm up and Reid Walker pulls him into a clothesline?!? Reid Walker is leaving on his own path, it sure seems.

Match 6: Kennedi Copeland vs B3cca

Paul Crockett goes to check on Marcus Mathers while this match is getting in the ring. Kennedi with a thez press right away. Becca cartwheels away from the follow up and kicks her in the face. Crowd is behind their girl from ocean Ave. back and forth, some near misses, Kennedi hits a page Turner to get some space. Dustin Waller is out with a concussion so he has a number one replacement! Milk Chocolate hasn’t been seen in a while by us but they are right back in form against Kylon, who takes some early double teaming. Watts takes the brunt of the punishment as Ichiban saves his partner and goes through some tandem tag moves with Kylon. Milk Chocolate with a distract and ambush on Ichiban sends him off the top into a dropkick. Ichiban fighting back but the numbers game is not in his favor….but he escapes and flies to the tag! Heavy Germans from Kylon. Double German to MC! Kick out! Drive by airplane spin and a slam to Kylon for two! They want a spike piledriver but Ichiban repays the favor and sends Watts flying! Kylon with a jackknife pin on Summers for the win!

Winners: Miracle Ones

Match 9: Ray Jaz vs Eel O’Neal

The crowd booes Ray Jaz, apparently this isn’t HIS PART of New Jersey. He says this place is basically Philly. The crowd is much more appreciative of Eel O’Neal! Jaz tries to muscle Eel down but can’t hold him in place. Eel has an answer for everything so far and Jaz has to take a little stroll to recuperate. Jaz dares Eel to go amateur with him and Eel is more than up to that task and takes him down. Eel repays the position in kind but Jaz gets controlled and slammed hard. He’s frustrated and demands they go again. That third time, he clubs Eel in the back of the head. Big suplex. Jaz dropping Eel on his back over and over. Eel tries a cross body…caught into a backbreaker owwww. Eel with a roll back and Jaz slams his head isn’t the mat. Eel with a pop up saito! Kick out! Eel goes for the superplex….Jaz rakes the eyes! Jaz to the apron, Eel comes in but Jaz hits him. Slingshot into the back slide and if you know his move set, you know this one is over. Good match, despite my abject hatred of one Rayyyyyyymond Jazbag.

Winner: Ray Jaz

Match 10: Matt Tremont vs Bobby Orlando (Sick Trick Street Fight)

Paul Crockett says that Tremont was allowed to pick his opponent for this one and the H20 kingpin chose to take on our mom?!? It’s going bad for Bobby until he gets his hands on a pile of cookie sheets and cracks them all over Tremont’s head! Sick trick cutter for t—ONE! Bobby misses a trash can moonsault! Main Event: AC Mack(c) vs “The Prize” Alec Price (for the IWTV independent wrestling championship)

Today is the five year anniversary of the IWTV championship and we have a big clash of Northeast and Southeast today for the big prize!   AC is furious that he, the champ, came up here to be treated like this. This is the most energy I’ve heard from this crowd as Mack is called Gahhhhhhhbidge. Mack is sent to the floor early with a clothesline, Price tries to fly after him but Mack rolls back in. Outta nowhere! Running knees! Mack pulls his hair as Price tries to fire up the crowd. Mack throws him into the chairs, running boots into the front row! “IS THIS WHAT YOU GIVE ME?!?” screams Mack into the camera. Price grabs the legs and pastes him into the chair! Round the world boot into the chairs! Mack cuts off a springboard and lands a hangman’s ddt for two. Mack shotguns knees into Price’s chest! Mack backhands the Northeast Beast. Price with a springboard moonsault runs the champ over! Price outstriking! Half and half suplex! The knees landing! Leg lariat out of the corner! Mack kicks out! Crowd chanting for a NEWWWWWW CHAMP! Plancha to the floor! Mack reverses and posts his challenger. He hits a Mack 10 into the concrete floor. He demands a count out as Price struggles to turn the lights back on. Price barely makes it back at nine but Mack is all over him. Huge meteora but Price kicks out! The Prize is limp though. The crowd behind Price and it’s clearly in Mack’s head. He tries the Mack 10 again but Price out! Mack with a flying clothesline…he pummels his opponent from the mount. Mack grabs the title belt…he’s looking to get himself DQ’d. Price rolling out of the way…superkick! Back kick! High kick! Block bussssstah! Mack is in position, Price goes for the Suprize kick… but he runs into a chair shot from a hooded figure. Ring the bell! Mack is still your champ but the hooded figure is revealed to be…BECCA! Noooooooooo!

Winner: Alec Price (by DQ)

Becca on the mic, says she just wanted to help Price win…one last time. Wowwwwww. She gives him a smooch as she leaves the ring. Price’s lights come back on as he takes in the enormity of the opportunity that just slipped through his fingers. He’s wanted this shot for years…and Becca just screwed him out of it. And on New Years Eve? It’s not just a singles match…it’s gonna be FANS BRING THE WEAPONS. Oh myyyy!
