The New York Times profiled Chris Nowinski today for his work in the concussion health realm. “I feel like I’m there representing all the deceased athletes that we have lost to C.T.E., and that all those tragedies were preventable,” Nowinski said. “I’m there to remind them that if they don’t acknowledge a cause-and-effect relationship between contact sports and C.T.E., a lot more people are going to get hurt and it’s going to ruin their reputations.”
Next week's Tales from the Territories on Vice TV will focus on Stampede Wrestling with Bret Hart among the panelists.
The first photo of actor Zac Efron as Kevin Von Erich in the forthcoming film The Iron Claw popped up online and well, he's far more jacked than Kevin ever was! The film is shooting now in Louisiana. The Von Erich family has no involvement.
