It’s Thursday so you know what that means!

Spotlight match: Brother Greatness vs Clara Carreras 

Clara is here to wrestle, not to listen to another sermon. BG doesn’t want to lay hands on her but she’s gonna swing. She even gets the holy man to show some moves. She eats a back elbow and BG has to get that catchphrase in, Clara firing back with armdrags and a snap ddt! Cannonball! He dodges a dive and uncorks a right hand. He rolls La Chica up and traps those legs for the win!

Winner: Brother Greatness

And we’re live on IWTV! Rich Palladino is your announcer! Paul Crockett is flying solo at the commentary booth! Let’s goooooo!

Match 1: Channing Thomas (w/ Sidney Bakabella) vs Megabyte Ronnie

The crowd instructs Ronnie to eat that (World Cl)ass. The match itself is pretty evenly back and forth until Thomas hits a good knee breaker and stops Ronnie dead in his tracks. Bakabella yells to have the match stopped because Megabyte is so hurt (he isn’t). Ronnie lands a huge spear and should have the win but Bakabella distracts the ref. Channing take out the leg with a chopblock. One piledriver later and World Class Channing Thomas locks in another W! 

Winner: Channing Thomas

Thomas calls out Alec Price again. He puts Price over on the mic….but he’s known Alec for a long time. And he knows Price is SLOPPY. He has HOLES. Bakabella says Price cannot beat Channing. Price is trash and Sidney knows his weakness. They know how to beat him and next week, they will prove it in the OPENING MATCH. 

Match 2: Hellenic Hitmen (Markellos Komninos & Greek Ninja) vs The Haven (Jay Onyx & Shawn Knyte) 

Markellos coming out hot but Knyte working his shoulder over early. Double teaming on Markellos, pop up corkscrew splash! Ninja with a distract and Markellos lands a hard cheap shot elbow. Knyte eating a lot of punishment from Ninja. Slingshot into a high knee! Knyte rolls out of danger, tag to Onyx! Corner attack and hard lariat! Markellos tries to interfere but he gets sent to the floor. Flatliner/Cutter combo from Haven on Ninja closes this out! It needs a name. Does it have one yet?

Winners: The Haven

Match 3: “Da Big Boofa” Dezmond Cole vs Tyree Taylor 

The crowd is HERE for this! Early test and Tyree shows his ability to flip like Boofa. Cole is very quick though and ducking and dodging out of danger. Tyree sent over the top, mule kick escape and a plancha to the floor! Slingshot senton for two! Crowd split but Tyree blasts a shoulder tackle. Giant step over! Running scissor kick cuts Boofa in half but he kicks out! Tyree charges but eats buckle. Tornado suplex from Cole! Tyree coming back but Cole keeps reversing it all. His luck runs out finally and Tyree flattens him. A Brooklyn Zoo bomb ends this big boy bash!

Winner: Tyree Taylor

Match 4: Armani Kayos vs Gal Barkay

Gal is hyper confident as Kayos tries to stagger him. Armani tries a slap but that just annoys the large action figure of a man. Armani yeeted across the ring! A momentary distraction and Armani lands a hard elbow and ddt. Gal back but gets trapped in the ring skirt. Armani doing his damndest to put Gal away but it’s never enough. A camel clutch is his best bet but Gal just picks him up. Snap German! Kayos dodges a superkick but runs into a blue Thunder bomb! Kick out! Gal escapes the rack attack! Kayos hits a butterfly facebuster. Gal kicks out! Fighting over a backslide! Gory bomb! Armani kicks out! Armani tries another cHeap shot but The ref catches it…Gal with a vertical suplex into a chokeslam! Kayos is done!

Winner: Gal Barkay

Match 5: The Church of Greatness (Anastasia Morningstar & The Even Stevens w/ Brother Greatness) vs The Flirtation (Tender Weapon, Love Doug & Shazza McKenzie)

You bet that baby is back. And we gave BG a whole bunch of “holy water”. The church of love steal the Steve’s candles to set the mood. Somerset and TW fight over a candle, how did Somerset burn his hand on an electric candle? It’s a lot of sexy goofs on the Stevens and Morningstar just looks UPSET and refuses to play along so she just blasts Shazza & Weapon over with a double clothesline and the COG takes over. Brother Greatness is on commentary while his demoness lays into Shazza. Straight jacket slam from the Steve’s. Shazza with a head scissor escape to a neckbreaker….Doug’s in! Bulldoug! Somerset gets triple teamed with atomic drops! It should be over but Azure cuts it off. Spine buster! TW with the sexy cutoff but Anastasia catches him with a tornado flatliner! Shazza tries a dive out but Morningstar catches her and drops the Heart Break Core. Brother Greatness abandons commentary and throws some of the holy water at Doug. Distraction success! Somerset rolls up Doug with a handful of tights for the win!

Match 6: Ray Jaz vs Johnny Santos

The crowd does their best to get under Jaz’s stupid leathery oily skin but he just beats Johnny down. Santos tries to get him dancing but Jaz is here to smash some face. He’s taking it slow and methodical. Santos can’t get a move in and Jaz is making this hurt. Santos speeds it up, Superman punch! Blue Thunder! Kick out! Jaz tries the cradle bomb but eats a superkick! Jaz grabs the leg and it looks like Santos has it scouted and blocks the submission…only for Jaz to deadlift him into the cradle bomb for the win! Ughhhhhhhhhh.

Winner: Ray. Jaz.

Match 7: “The Victorious BRG” Brett Ryan Gosselin (W/ Clip Clop) vs Kylon King

I do love me a Kylon King singles match. The crowd wants Clip scoop but BRG tries to wait them out. Kylon takes the horse for a ride instead. Yaaaaay! BRG hitting Kylon with everything he’s got just to spite the crowd. Kylon hit a hard hit and a sling blade! BRG dodges a moonsault and blasts a running kick. Hard suplex for two. BRG throwing lariats but Kylon eats it. Brain bussssssstah!!!!!!! Big back drop! Exploder into the buckles! Moonsault but Kylon overshoots a little…kick out! Hard shots back and forth, BRG tries the Unprettier…Kylon’s out! BRG slams a huge spear! Kylon pushes off the Unprettier again! Pop up German for the win!!!

Winnner: Kylon King

Match 8: Steven Stetson vs CPA 

We hate Stetson. We love CPA. Stetson hates our chants! CPA uses the distraction to land a big hit but Stetson catches him coming off the ropes. Seated senton to the back! Big elbow drop to the accountant! Stetson pushes off a monkey flip and blasts a clothesline but it’s not enough. Huge backbreaker out of the corner! CPA with a powerbomb!!! CPa rips off another shirt!!! It’s time to crunch some numbers…or not…Stetson dodges…CPA comes flying…spine buster reversal! CPA tries again but Stetson shoves him off and blasts that northern lariat for the win! We hate him sooooo much.

Winner: Steven Stetson

Is it time for the main event? Oh, Becca’s here for her Hell in a Smell charity event. She has deodorant for all of us. And she’s got a real charity case on her mind, Kennedi Copeland…who she has a date with in NJ on Saturday. Kennedi is here! It looks like Becca wants to drop her on a bed of deodorant sticks but Kennedi reverses it to a DVD and Becca gets a taste of her own armpit medicine. She starts throwing stink sticks at Kennedi as she get eviscerated on the mic and chases her out of the room.

Main Event: “Kingpin” Brian Milonas (w/ Brad Hollister) vs Ichiban 

Brad Hollister got a one-day manager’s license. He’s so happy to have the Northeast legend in his corner to take on his “bully”. Ichiban is certainly giving up a LOT of size to the massive Milonas. Ichiban dodges and ducks but eventually the big man just starts battering him on the outside as Bacon cheers it on. Ichiban posts him! He tries a crossbody from the top but bounces off Brian’s mountain of meat. Huge senton! Milonas going after the eye that Ichiban “injured” on Bacon. Hard ripcord lariat. Tossed from corner to corner. Ichiban starts landing hard kicks but Milonas just bowls him over. Milonas is hitting Ichiban in the buckles so hard the ring is moving! Ichiban kicks the leg out! Hard shots to the dome! Bacon distracting as Milonas recovers and tosses Ichiban from the top harrrrd. Kick out! Ichiban tries a rollup as Brad teases taking a cheap shot from the outside repeatedly. Ichiban finally scores with a hard dropkick as Milonas misses a seated senton! Ichiban goes for the flatliner but gets caught in a black hole slam! Ichiban WILL NOT DIE. Brad tries to distract but Ichiban shotguns Milonas into his manager! Ichiban comes off the ropes! Flatliner! Ichiban wins!

Winner: Ichiban

Brad Hollister is furious. He says Ichiban isn’t a joke but he doesn’t deserve a singles match with Bacon EVER again. He says Ichiban will need to find a friend to tag with him because Bacon’s gonna find a friend and beat his a** next week! 

But then after the cameras went off…as he threatened to do to…Brother Greatness christened that baby. I think this is the first actual christening that’s happened at a wrestling show, to my knowledge? 

Wrestling Open goes on the road this weekend to New Jersey. I’ll be watching on IWTV but the card looks stacked. The only question on MY MIND though…will Ray Jaz be cheered there? 

And as for NEXT WEEK? We get Evil Uno in the house!
